3/13/16...Went to the Army Reserve today

Bill preaching at the Army Reserve

Love how Isaac Worships
Joel at Pizza Hut with us for lunch

Picked up cutie Lennox to keep till Vikki gets home tonight

Lenny is laying in the chair with me sleeping away
I got up at 6 to get ready for the service at the Army Reserve.  Good thing I was up early.  The lady that was supposed to do the worship called and said she wasn't going to be able to make it, so I picked up a couple of songs and got the lyrics on line and ran copies off to take.  Bill did a great job!  We went to church after that. Isaac sure did worship.  Love the picture Vikki took so I borrowed it.  Paul Nelson gave a good message.  After church we went to visit  Bill Mallory at Covenant.  He had his gall bladder out and had complications.  He went in on Tues. morning and is going home today.  Jackie Facebook messaged me last night to see if we would go pray for him because she was worried about him and is in Tennessee.  We had a nice visit and prayer time and then went to meet Joel at Pizza Hut.  Riversbend was  dropping him off.  We had a nice time with him and the pizza sure was good.  After we were done, we came home.  At 3:15 I left to go get Lennox from Vikki's.  He is being really good other than he loves Bill to pieces and won't let him be.  Go figure.  I am keeping him by me now because Bill doesn't like dogs by him.  He doesn't know what he is missing.

3/12/16....Field and Stream Dinner

So nice out I hung clothes out to dry

I hung pictures on my clothespin hanger from Vikki

Bill and I at the Field & Stream Banquet.

Bill being silly getting his picture taken with Gary

We got up early to go over to Denise Martin's so Bill could fix her light.  It ended up being the ceiling fan light that was broke, so he took it down and she is getting a new light fixture.  Came home and the mailman brought a package and our mail to our door.  It was something dad had ordered.  He came in and gave me my new fitbit one.  Sooooooo happy!  Hung clothes out since it was so nice.  Love how they smell when they come in off the line.  We got ready and left at 4:30 to go to the Field and Stream Banquet.  (No steps tonight)  We sat with Charlie and Sue, Kenny and Kitty, Gary and Dorthy, and Ken Zorn and a friend were supposed to sit with us too.  Ken came to our table and by the time everyone stops to talk to him he never got to even sit and eat.  The young guy with him sat next to me.  He was nice and was from Hemlock.  Lived on the corner of Hemlock and Tittabawassee Rd. He was homeschooled, but then went to Hemlock school in 6th grade.  He used to go to Community Baptist and now goes to Hopevale Church.  We had a good talk about the Lord and I also was able to share about Melissa's miracle with him.  He showed me pics of his 2 year old son and he was so proud of him. He was there because he is an intern in Lansing for politics and is helping Ben Frederick who is running for Senate in Richland Township.  The food was really good.  They drew dad's ticket and he won a popup canopy...really nice.  I won a red adult life jacket from Cabella's.
It was after 10 when it was over.  Came home and set all of our clocks ahead.  Then we went to bed.

I told Eli it was something for his hair.  I put it in a box that was from my curling iron and blowdryer holder.  He said thank you even though he didn't really like hair stuff.

He was happy when he opened the box and it was a hammock instead

Pretty comfy in his hammock

Papa and Jacob still going at it....both are stubborn ha ha so no one is giving up

Got up at 5:45 and got ready to go to the SportsZone.  Walked 4 miles.  Loved having the track to myself for a long time as I could really go fast.  Came home and made bread dough and then went to Aldi's for burger, cabbage and powder milk.  The meat storage was broken and completely empty and some guys were working on it to fix it.  Couldn't get any burger there.  Went to the $ Store and then to Walmart.  Headed home and got there just before Vikki and Isaac came.  I started cooking the burger, cabbage and onion and we ate lunch while it cooked.  We visited until the dough was ready.  Then we made a batch of pizza buns and a batch of cabbage buns.  I spread out the dough balls and Vikki put the filling on and then I wrapped them up.  Good teamwork.  We had some good laughs too.  We sure had fun working together.  After they were baked and cooled, Vikki bagged her up and headed home.  I got ready and then Bill and I left for Kimmy's to celebrate Eli's 6th birthday.  We had so much fun.  Bill loved playing and teasing the boys.  He called Eli ahead of time to warn him his was bringing birthday punches so he'd better get ready.  When we got there, Ei was hiding ha ha.  We listened to Jacob playing his clarinet and loved it.  He knows so many songs and plays them very well.  Jared cooked burgers on the grill and they were really delicious.  Kimmy had chips/nachos/ and salsa out to snack on.  She also made a delicious chocolate cake and had yummy ice cream.  Eli opened his present afterwards.  He was so cute and sweet.  We all had fun taking turns in the hammock.  Thank you Kimmy and Jared for everything.

Max being kind to Evan who didn't feel well

Kimmy got here with Peyton and Isaac.  They had spent a couple of nights with her.  Vikki got her with Lennox shortly after.  She brought us each a French Vanilla Cap.   Thanks Vikki!  We stayed outside while we waited for Lenny to go potty.  It took a long time but we did get lots of steps.  Peyton was cold so she, Isaac and I went in the house.  We worshipped to a couple of songs.  They were so cute when they worshipped.  After that we went back outside.  Still had to wait for Lenno to go.  After we all came in the house.  We ate lunch and then went to walk around Petsmart.  I found a hose for my sink in the utility room.  After that we went to Old Navy, Dicks, Bath and Body Works and Hallmark.  Vikki went home from there.  Kimmy and I came back to my house and tried the hose and it fit perfectly.  That will sure make giving Mocha a bath easy.    Kimmy had to leave.  I did some walking then watched the news and then we got ready to go to Sullivans for our Faith Riders Meeting.

3/9/16...Bill and I went for a six mile walk today. Beautiful outside! We didn't even need jackets 65 degrees

Max and his class with the things they picked out after giving one of their favorite things away
My class with the things they picked out
I ran ahead of Bill to take this picture

Malachi Nelson came to visit us at 9:30.  He had asked last night if it was ok.  We had a nice visit and good time of prayer.  He sure is a nice young man with a good heart for the Lord.  After he left, we watched The Price is Right and then the news.  After the news, we went for a walk.  We ended p walking to down our road to the Airport on Freehand Rd.  Went over six miles.  We sure were glad to get back to our chairs.  We watched a good movie on Netflix called A Matter of Faith.  Warmed up spaghetti for supper and then headed to church to teach the kids.  The kids had to bring one of their favorite things to give away and not get back which was not easy for some kids.  They could choose not to, but wouldn't earn their award.  Melissa talked to the boys about some kids not having any toys and how much one toy would mean to them.  Max decided he wanted to do it.  He took a helicopter and some rocks from his special collection.  Jack didn't want to part with anything special to him.  Finally he parted with one of his monster trucks.  He was at Bethlehem singing at their service so got to class just before it let out.  He was really playing with that truck so we didn't know if he would give it up to Miss Tina and Mr. Chris but he did joyfully.  The rest of the kids went to the room where they earn their awards and what they ended up doing is giving their stuff away and then they got to go to the table and pick something of someone else to swap.  They came back so happy and excited to have the thing they picked.  Max was so happy that the boy who picked his stuff started playing with it right away and was so excited.  Good lesson on not being selfish, but being generous and caring about others.

3/8/16 Hailey had to go to Med Express as her temp went up to 106 again today. They diagnosed her with pneumonia and put her on an antibioticJack

My poor sweetie girl is not feeling well!

65 and the snow is melting today.  Took a  2 mile walk and had to roll my sleeves up as I was too warm

Was very excited to spend time with this cutie!
Also glad I got to hang out with this sweetie

Went to the church and voted and then went to breakfast at Sullivans.  Had oatmeal with raisins and I also took walnuts to put in it.  So did Charlie.  After breakfast, Bill and I went to Sam's Club to get a birthday cake for care group's 3 birthday's this month.  Came home and cooked burger for spaghetti for tonight.  Did some cleaning too.  Melissa called and is taking Hailey to Med Express.  That's what the dr. said to do when she called.  I told her I would pick up Max and Jack.  Went for a two mile walk It was just beautiful out.  65 degrees...I was getting warm so rolled my sleeves up.  Soooooo nice out.  Came home and got ready to go pick up the boys.  Messaged Melissa and told her I would take the boys to her house.  Asked her if she wanted me to swing by there and pick up Evan to take with us.  She didn't think it would be much longer so said no.   The boys were excited to see me.  I told the teacher outside about Hailey and she said she would pray.  Took the boys home and they had a snack.  Then I had them get at their homework so it would be done and Melissa could maybe get a little rest. Jack read to me and did a super job.  We watched Curious George for a little while.  Gave the kids some chicklets for doing a good job.  Melissa and Hailey got home about 45 minutes later and Hailey has pneumonia.  She sure didn't look good.  Poor Sweetie.  I prayed for her.  Got home and made spaghetti for supper.  Ate and got coffee started for care group.  We had 12 of us at care group.  It was on love and how we need to have God's love in us to give to others.  Very good lesson and Bill did amazing teaching it.  We had birthday cake for Dennis Ward, Rich and I.  Sooooo yummy!

3/7/16...Peyton and Isaac woke up around 7:30. Got them up and we made pancakes for breakfast. They are great helpers. Poor Hailey was sick and had a fever. Praying for my sweetie

Bill and Joel

I heard Peyton and Isaac talking upstairs at 7:30 so went and got them up.  We made pancake which they wanted to watch and help with.  They are good helpers.  Peyton ate 2 pancakes and Isaac ate 3.  They pretended they were camping and made a campfire.  They have great imaginations.  After a while they asked to watch a movie. They were watching Toy Story and decided they didn't like that, then wanted to watch Cars and didn't want to finish that and then put Lady and the Tramp in.  They were playing so much they didn't really watch Tv much.  Vikki came over after a while and we visited.  She showed me some cute pics of Labradoodles.  She ended up taking the kids with her to her dr. appt. for her hands.  I headed to pick up Max and Evan because Jack had a appt., but she called to say she was out and could get them now.  Poor Hailey is home with a fever.  Praying for my girl.  Bill and I went to the Honda Dealer in Bay City and had screws put in our Remote keys.  They charged us $8 which was cheap compared to having to buy new ones.  I was so happy to have my key working again.  After that we went to see Joel.  He was happy to see us and knew our names.  He loved the M & M's we brought him.  He can only use one hand, but he had them open right away.  We had a nice visit.  We showed him pictures of Lennox and our trip to Chicago.  Came home and did our Care Group lesson for tomorrow night.  It is on love and is a good one.
