Malachi Nelson came to visit us at 9:30.  He had asked last night if it was ok.  We had a nice visit and good time of prayer.  He sure is a nice young man with a good heart for the Lord.  After he left, we watched The Price is Right and then the news.  After the news, we went for a walk.  We ended p walking to down our road to the Airport on Freehand Rd.  Went over six miles.  We sure were glad to get back to our chairs.  We watched a good movie on Netflix called A Matter of Faith.  Warmed up spaghetti for supper and then headed to church to teach the kids.  The kids had to bring one of their favorite things to give away and not get back which was not easy for some kids.  They could choose not to, but wouldn't earn their award.  Melissa talked to the boys about some kids not having any toys and how much one toy would mean to them.  Max decided he wanted to do it.  He took a helicopter and some rocks from his special collection.  Jack didn't want to part with anything special to him.  Finally he parted with one of his monster trucks.  He was at Bethlehem singing at their service so got to class just before it let out.  He was really playing with that truck so we didn't know if he would give it up to Miss Tina and Mr. Chris but he did joyfully.  The rest of the kids went to the room where they earn their awards and what they ended up doing is giving their stuff away and then they got to go to the table and pick something of someone else to swap.  They came back so happy and excited to have the thing they picked.  Max was so happy that the boy who picked his stuff started playing with it right away and was so excited.  Good lesson on not being selfish, but being generous and caring about others.
