8/7/16....Went to church and then decided to go to Tawas. We had such a nice time and the weather was beautiful.

Started our day by having some of our cinnamon roll from Kimmy and Jared.  It was delicious.  I added some walnuts to make it nutritious

Happy to see Peyton, Rody and Isaac at church.  Nice sitting by them and Stacie today

Stopped at Tacey's in Standish for my favorite ice cream...black raspberry bugaboo.  It was yummy.  Bill got vanilla soft serve with chocolate on it in a cup

Here's mine before it disappeared

Such a beautiful day for a drive along Lake Huron

Stopped at an art fair in Tawas

Went to G's in Tawas for Pizza!

Selfie along the beach

Two cute birds and some ducks

Selfie on the Dock....lots of memories on this dock way back to Grandma Daisy and Grandpa Adam fishing with their cane poles.  Now every year we are making more memories

Bill almost to the end of the dock
Lots of boats up there today.  The water was so pretty.

Bill took a picture of me with all the boats behind

The beach was beautiful and was really clean this time.  Last time there were lots of Mayflies

Bill by the Veteran's Memorial Garden

We walked through the campground by the beach in Tawas.

I hate to admit it, but we went to Marion's and had another ice cream cone because they make their own waffle cones there.  I had chocolate peanut butter cup and Bill had cookies and cream

Went to church and then came home and got ready to go to Tawas.  We stopped in Standish for an ice cream cone and then enjoyed the ride to Tawas.  Walked around the art fair at a beach before you get into Tawas.  It was very nice and the beach was dog friendly so Vikki will like that.
We went to G's Pizzeria and had pizza and watched the Tiger Game.  They lost! boo hoo.
After we ate, we walked through stores.  Saw Rick and Pam when we came out of the first store.
Went to Ben Franklin (my favorite store in Tawas) and got a couple of things there.  Finished going in stores and then walked out on the dock.  After that we walked through the campground there.  It is so nice and it's unbelievable the things people have at their campsites.  Amazing lawn furniture, their own steps, plants galore, swings, snack bars, etc.  You can tell they stay their the whole summer.  We left and decided to get another ice cream cone at Marion's because we heard they make their own waffle cones and they are delicious.  They sure were.  What a fun day with Bill.

8/6/16 Went to get Mocha! Thank you so much, Vikki, for watching her, brushing her, taking her to the dog park, getting our mail and everything else you did for us. xoxoxox

My beautiful Peyton!  She gave me so many hugs and I love you's.  I missed her lots and she missed me.  Mocha photo bombing!

Was happy to get my hugs from Isaac too!  Sure missed him.

The garden sure did grow while we were away.  The garden in the back of the shed has 6 big pumpkins.  YAY

Went to Subway to see Kenzie on our way to Kimmy's.  She waited on us and did a great job.  All we got was some cookies for the boys.  She made a huge sub for a girl ahead of us.  Looked yummy.
The other girl made a couple of huge subs too.  Kenzie wouldn't let me take a picture of her so I took a picture of our receipt with her name on it.

I was sure happy to see my wonderful Jacob.  Look at the stick he whittled.  It has initials, words, and a cross on it.  He did an amazing job. Sure have missed him.

My sweet Eli.  I have missed him so much and was sure happy to see him.

My handsome Adam.  He looks like he is in the jungle.  He's always so sweet.  Sure have missed him.

Nice to see well water coming out of the hose to water the garden.  Jared was redirecting it.  Adam and Norman are in the background

Happy to go see these amazing grandsons we have missed so much.  They have grown taller and are so tan.  Their cat has had kittens so they will be trying to find them.

Kimmy and Jared brought back this huge cinnamon roll from the Hilltop Restaurant in LaAnce.  It is 3 inches high and 6 inches wide.  Our favorite!  Thanks Kimmy and Jared!!!
I went to get Mocha after I got ready.  Peyton and Isaac gave me such a nice greeting and lots of hugs. Lennox gave me lots of licks and was happy to see me too.  I was happy to see all of them too.
Took Tim Horton doughnuts and French Vanilla Cap's.  I didn't think about it being Saturday so didn't get Rody a coffee.  I had picked up sprinkle doughnuts for Peyton and Isaac and then got two chocolate covered doughnuts, one chocolate doughnut and a nutty doughnut.  Good thing I got the nutty one because Rody is allergic to chocolate.  Left there and came home and unloaded the camper. Talked to Kimmy and they were a couple of hours from being home.  Told me they got us a cinnamon roll from the Hilltop Restaurant.  We set up to go to their house at 7:30.  Can't wait.  Bill and I relaxed till 5:30 and then went to the Olive Garden in Midland to eat.  I had chicken alfredo and Bill had Spaghetti and meatballs.  Yum!  We went to Walmart after that and stopped at the Subway in it to see Mykenzine.  Left there and went to Kimmy's.  So happy to see all of them and have them safely home.  We went for a walk. Bill looked at the well and Jared had the water going to water the garden.  Loved seeing the boys.  On our way home a big quail hit our window.  I'm sure it was dead after thats.  It was so noisy.  Sure am glad the window didn't break.

My Beautiful Hailey came to visit and have a lunch

Kenzie and Shenea had fun hanging around together at BayShore
Went to class in the morning.  Both classes were really good.  After lunch, we packed up as we decided we would leave right after the message tonight.  Then went to cool off in the pool with Melissa and Hailey.  Fun visiting with Melissa in the pool.  It was a very warm day once again and the pool water felt great.  Bruce and the boys came a little while later.  Went back to do more packing. Wes and Gayla decided to go home tonight too so they are packing also. It was such a fun time at BayShore this year.  Kenzie had fun hanging with old friends she's known a long time from BayShore.  Hailey hung with new friends this year who are really nice and had so much fun.  Jack always had someone to play with.  He makes friends so easily.  Max was glad to have friends from Bethlehem School there.  Evan is growing up and was so cute and so much fun.  They all were and I sure enjoyed my time with them all.  Love having grandkids at BayShore where they have fun and learn about the Lord.  We left after Bill had his ice cream.  On the way home, Kenzie wanted me to listen to some songs she loved from BayShore.  Absolutely beautiful worship music.  I am going to download it on my phone.  What an awesome time together listening to the words.  So happy she went with us and God touched her heart.  I am thanking the Lord for BayShore once again.  Love that place.

They were really good at this one

We went to our classes.  Kenzie was happy she could still go to impact.
We wwnt to Tom Harmon's class in the tabernacle and the after our cookie and coffee break, we went to John's class at Patton Lodge.  Great classes.  We all got together at Wes and Gayla's for pancakes and bacon at noon.  Fun time. At 1:30 I had to be outside the tabernacle to find out what volunteer job I had.  They put me on a tAble where they had to pick up marshmallows with chopsticks.  Well, they had the tables out in the sun and when we got to it, we moved it into a nice shady spot because the marshmallows had melted.  I tried to get some out on a tray for the game but they were so sticky, they would stick to my fingers.  We were trying to think of something else to use before the games started in 7 minutes.  I said Cheerios and then ran to the camper to get them.  They worked well and I got to stay in the shade which was a blessing.  After that we were all roasting and the pool was still open for one hour.  We hurried and got ready to swim.  It felt so good.  After the evening service we all had ice cream.  Kenzie came in to have some too.  She is staying in Shenia's tent a couple of spots from Bruce and Melissa.  Fun day.  Melissa and I are working on her laundry now.  Hailey, Jack and Evan are spending the night. We are praying for Max to have a good spot at U of M hospital tomorrow😊

8/2/16 Kenzie came up for the rest of the week at BayShore

Had a fun day and enjoyed the pool so much as it was very warm.
The kids were really excited that Bruce was driving the train.  Jacob and Caleb's dad was driving the other train. Jack was really happy that Bruce had the black engine.  He prayed that he would.  Loving this place and seeing all the kids and families having fun and learning lots about God.  Happy that Kenzie still wants to come.
