Lenny sleeps so weird
Our state reps for our Christian Motorcycle chapter invited us to go camping with them.  Got to the campground and couldn't believe how huge it is.  We forgot to bring our bikes.  Boo hoo.  We went for a swim.  The water was warm and so nice. The pool is 3 ft 6 inches at both ends with steps to get in and is 5 ft in the middle. We enjoyed the lazy river.  I walked around the wile campground.  Ended up with over 19,000 steps for the day.  Almost overwhelming it is so big.  Next time I am bringing my bike for sure. Bill told me to call Vikki and see if she wanted to come.
She did so we were happy to see them.  They went swimming outside and then inside.  We walked to the store and looked around

9/10/16....Eli broke his collarbone again. So sad to hear this. My poor sweetie.Rainy in the morning, but it cleared off later even though it was a little cool

Bill watched the kids while Vikki and I went to get Milk, french dressing and a few other things.  We stopped at McDonalds for an Egg McMuffin and Sausage egg biscuit. We came back to the camper.   It was a rainy morning.  Bill and Mark still went to the Bikes on the Bricks.  Mark said Jeanette was going to take a nap so Vikki, the kids and I went to some thrift shops that were close by.  We came back to the campground and Jeanette was gone.  Found out later she went to Bikes on the Bricks.  Vikki and I took the kids and got a yummy pizza for lunch at the grill in the campground.  We went to play putt putt while they were making it.  We didn't finish playing all the holes, but did most of them.
Took our pizza back to the camper to eat.  It was yummy just like the pizza at Standish.  Bill got home and started a fire in the fire pit.  Mark and Jeanette came and sat with all of us at the campfire.  Afterwards, Bill, Vikki and I played 3-13 and then played dice.

We got up early and went home for church.  I taught Sunday School.  Had 9 Kids.  My three grandkids weren't there though.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac went to church at the campground. It was in the ballroom.  She said there was a good turnout.  Found out Eli broke his collar bone last night.  He and Adam were going after the same dart and collided.  Eli fell down and Adam fell on top of him!  Ouch.  Eli did good during the night but was in pain today so they took him into ER.  Went home but has to see an orthopedic doctor.
Bill and I went to Bob Evans after church and had breakfast.  Chuck and Sue were there with his sister and her grandkids.??we got to the campground around 2:30.  Vikki and the kids were at the golf course so I got iout there and watched the kids golf.  Bill went to the camper to nap. We walked back and Vik was videoing the campground.  We walked by the pool and felt the water.  It was warm.  We got back almost to our camper and Vikki stepped in a whole while videoing.  She went flying but praise God she didn't fall. Jeanette and Mark were outside by their camper and saw her.  He said she looked like she was moving like an angel.  They asked us if we wanted to go kayaking so Bill watched the kids and we went.  We had so much fun!  Perfect weather!  Vikki, the kids, Bill and I went swimming and also sat in the hot tub. The kids had fun in the kids splash pool.  After that Vikki and the kids left.  She took Mocha for me too.  Thanks so much Vik!  Gad you came!  You are always so much fun!
Dad and I went golfing after they left and he beat me by 5. So fun golfing!  We came back and I made corn on the cob Bill got from church.  It was yummy.
We played 3-13 and I won by a few points.  I am sitting under my electric throw while writting this.

9/8/16...Our 43rd Anniversary! Thank you Lord for bringing us together and blessing our marriage.

Bill making his chili for the chili cookout.  Rody is going in his place because we will be camping in Davison.  He used my award winning recipe, but added potatoes.  It was delicious.  I ate 2 bowls.
He made it by himself....now he can make it when we want chili.

Happy Anniversary to my wonderful husband Bill.  We have been married 43 years today.  So thankful his sister Debbie (my friend at TV 5) introduced us way back then.  It was a pretty busy day today.   I packed the camper and Bill made his chili.  Ran off newsletter copies for tonight's meeting. Kenzie stopped over and right away asked me if she could cut the hair on Mocha's face so she could see better.  She did a great job.  I took a short nap.  Sure felt good.  I packed Mocha up and took her to Vikki's.  Took the chili Bill made to drop off for Rody.  Vikki called me and wondered why all the chili was at her house.  I told her.  She hadn't found out from Rody yet.
We went to G's for our Faith Rider's meeting.  Bill was already there by the time I got there in the car.  We were excited to be going there.  When We got in, they had written us on the wrong date and had a retirement party (who had called that morning) in the room we were supposed to be in.  They gave us a back room without doors and tried to accommodate us.  The group at the other party were so noisy and didn't stay in the room with the doors closed, but stood right by the entrance to our room.  We could hardly hear a thing.
They did get a little quieter during the time they ate so that was nice.  It was hard being in all that noise and not being able to hear Bill or Brian.  We decided God had a purpose and tried to be patient and kind.  Our waitress did a great job.  So did Bill and Brian.  We  headed to Mooney's afterwards for ice cream. I had a half of a baby cone.  It was delicious....yummy chocolate almond in a waffle cone. We ate them outside where it was really peaceful.  Sure was nice

9/7/16...The girls all came over. Fun day. In the evening Bill and I celebrated our anniversary since we have our Faith Rider's meeting tomorrow night and can't.

Peyton in the dress Vikki found for her while shopping today
Peyton with her lego set we got her put together.

Isaac with his lego set we got him for his birthday put together
Vikki got here first this morning.  Kimmy came a few minutes later.  Texted Melissa to let her know.  We visited and decided to go to some thrift stores.  Prayed Vikki would find tennis shoes for Peyton and that  Kimmy would find soccer cleats for Adam.  They both found them in the Salvation Army Store.  I found a top and Vikki found me a Tiger T shirt.  Kimmy got a canning jar holder.  Great finds.   We went across the street to the Upscale Thrift shop.  Kimmy found a coffee press.  I found a white pair of croc candles.  Melissa called and met us at the Rescue Mission Store.  I found a pair of sandals there and could get a pair free with them so Kimmy found some shoes for one of the boys.  Got Kimmy a comfy rocking chair with cushions she loved for her upcoming birthday.  It is so cute and comfortable.  Came home and we all had BLT's.  Thanks for making them Vikki.  Visited until they all had to go pick up kiddos.  Vikki left first.  I brought all of the girls dolls from when they were little that I had in the attic and Melissa and Kimmy had fun looking at them and reminiscing.  Brian, from Faith Rider's stopped in and we joked about playing with dolls.  Was pretty funny how we were holding the dolls and dressing them.  Sure was fun though.  Lots of good memories with the girls. Bill asked me if I wanted to go to Outback to celebrate our anniversary and of course I said yes.  Said he didn't want to face the TV and watch the tigers because he just wanted to focus on me.  So sweet.  We went and saw the movie, Ben Hur after that.  It was a good movie, but too much blood shed for me.  Bill and I had such a nice evening though.  Vikki and the kids tried to FaceTime me and show me the kids lego sets put together.  They are really nice sets.  Look like lots of fun.  Can't wait to see them in person.
