Our care group this year.  Missing Olivia, Rich and Dennis in the picture.  It's going to be a great lesson with wonderful people
Max looks handsome with his amazing haircut from his Aunt Vikki too!

We went to church.  L.A. Joiner gave a wonderful message on faith.  After church we came home and changed and then went to Pastor and Joan's house with all the elders and L.A. and his wife Teresa.  Joan had made chicken noodle soup, chili, salad, delicious bread, blueberry and apple pies, and brownies.  L.A. and Pastor shared with us afterwards.  Had a fun time!  Came home and relaxed for a while. Left for our care group at church.  We had 14 of us there in our group.  Pastor facilitated all four groups.  The Shaw group was there, the Engelhard group, the Koepke group and our group.  We each sat in our groups.  Afterwards we sat in a circle with our group and introduced ourselves and then we prayed for each other.  I borrowed all of these pictures from the girls Facebook posts today.  Thanks girls!

We went to church at 8:30 to hear L. A. Joiner teach on Winds of Change for the church.  It was very good.  We had brunch and went back in for a question and answer session.  Afterwards, I dropped Bill off at Walmart to raise money for Toys for Tots, etc with the Marine Corp. League.    I went in and picked up BBQ wings and also grapes to take to Piper's.  I came home and got stuff ready and then went back at 2 to pick Bill up.  We came home and left at 2:45 to go to Piper's and Dave's.  They had a very long driveway.  We got back to the house and it was beautiful.  It had a beautiful setting with a pond.  We had the party in the shed which was fixed up very nice.  We ate first and then some played ping pong and some of us visited.  I was happy to see Andy, Shiela and Rosie there.  Than a couple from New Life came who had been at our church this morning, Jill and Darrell.  We had fun and Bill won the tournament and got a plant as a prize.  Then Piper's daughter, Destiny, sang He Loves Me by David Crowder and played her guitar.  She has a beautiful voice.  Then Piper,  Dave, and Bill took turns telling cute jokes in the mic.   We had such a nice time.

9/16/16...Went to the dentist and then Vikki and I went to Kimmy's

Love this picture of Jacob, Adam and Eli with Norman!!!

Went to the dentist to get a tooth filled.  I didn't even feel him give me the shot to numb it.  I was nervous because this is the first I have had this dentist work on my teeth.  Had to have a filling that fell out replaced.  I didn't feel anything while he worked on it.   So happy when I prayed to pick the right dentist, this is who God gave me.  After my appointment, Vikki and I went to Kimmy's.  We wanted to be with her when she got the call from the vet.  The vet didn't call so Jared called them.  They hadn't gotten the results yet.  They said they were just as anxious to hear as Kimmy and Jared.
Sure am praying for a good report...something easy and not expensive to take care of.  Norman was doing great when we got there and even ate some of the soft canned dog food we brought him.
He kept it down and ate a few more spoonfuls later.  Then later he got bad again and couldn't stand up.  We went outside and when he went down the steps his legs gave out and he fell.
We went for a walk in their woods and Norman stayed by the house waiting for us.  Kimmy helped him up the steps and then had to carry him in.   When it was time for the boys to get off the bus, we walked down the road to meet them.  We were so happy to see them.  Kimmy and the whole family had a neighbor's house warming party to go to, so we left right away.  Came home and made spaghetti for dinner.

9/15/16...Vikki came over and we cleaned my house. She is amazing! My house is spotless. So Happy

Here they are with their pumpkins

Matt, Lonnie, Wes, Gayla, Roz, Lupe, me and Luis at the Rescue Mission serving popcorn and drinks to the guys while they watch the movie we are showing

Vikki came over after she dropped the kids off and we started cleaning my house.  We listened to Code Orange Revival at Elevation Church.  We laughed so hard at Joyce Meyers and some of the other preachers.  Sure enjoyed listening.  Can't wait to listen to more.  We worked while we listened.Vikki is the best cleaner ever!  My house is spotless....she got grime and grease off the front of my stove, moved everything and cleaned under everything, washed woodwork and door frames, washed window sills and space between window and screen, cleaned the furniture really good, helped me move furniture in the living room around and so much more.  Then we had to leave and go to the Rescue Mission.  We showed the movie, Flywheel.  There were 21 men that showed up to see it, plus 9 of us from Faith Riders who were serving popcorn, pop and cleaning up afterwards.  The movie touched a lot of their hearts.  They were really into it.  Amazing what a movie can do when it is anointed by God.  One guy at Bill's table started crying.  Another asked for prayer for addictions after the movie was over.  They all thanked us for coming to show movies.  It didn't take us long to clean up with so many helpers.  Came home and Vikki had cleaned the large bedroom and it looked amazing.  She cleaned the other bedroom really good and then left.  I appreciate all you love and hard work so much Vikki.
We have been praying for Norman today and are waiting for the blood test results. Sure love that doggie.

9/14/16...Vikki and I went to Kimmy's to see Eli before his dr apptwiththe orthopedic doctor. Took Evan to McDonalds then went to my house. Hepicked out his pumpkin and was so happy

Went and saw my sweet Grandson, Eli today before his doctor appt. with the Orthopedic doctor.  He can't play soccer for 4 weeks the dr. said.  Praying his collarbone heals quickly.

Love this picture of Eli and his missing bottom teeth.

Eli in the thing he and his mommy built with the bendables papa and I got him to cheer him up  since he got hurt.

Eli with his stuffed animal he got at the ER when he went in

I got the Clam out of the camper and set it up so it would be nice and dry.  It had a few drips of water on it when we packed it up.  Love that it is so easy for me to set up by myself.
Evan with his happy meal on our McDonald's Date

This is my favorite picture of him!  Love how cute and happy he is!Evan was so excited to pick his pumpkin in our garden.  He wanted the clean one.  The other ones all had dirt on them.  He's so cute!
These are the ones we picked.

This is Jeanette's chicken watering system she set up.

Vikki came over after she dropped Melissa's kiddos off at school and we went to Kimmy's.  We were happy to see Eli.  He was wearing his sling.  He looked so cute with his two bottom teeth missing.  Such a cutie.  I gave him the bendable and he and Kimmy made a cool fort.  I helped with a few of them.   Love the neat stuff you can make with them.  We prayed for Norman.  He sure is sick.  Vikki called all the Vets in town to try to get him in.  Kimmy went to Eli's appt. and Norman went outside with us while she was gone.  He wanted to play with the frisbee and picked it up, but couldn't go get it if it was very far away.  He carried it in his mouth though.  We took him in the house and he fell going up the steps.  I helped him up.  He laid in the house and couldn't get up at all.  Vikki and I went to some thrift stores and Kimmy got back to the house around the same time we did.  Norman couldn't get up at all for her either.  She gave him a slice of cheese and a few minutes after that she helped him up and he stayed up.  Then he got up by himself a couple of times.  We walked around her woods and he came with us.  He made it around the whole thing, but sat down a couple of times.  He was able to get up by himself then.  Don't know if it was because the cheese gave him energy.  He hasn't been eating good.  Vikki got him set up to go to Kimmy's Midland vet so after she picked up the boys she took him in.  He has lost 8 lbs. since the last time he was there.  They said his heart and lungs sound good.  Did blood work, so we are waiting to hear the results and sure are praying for good results. Something easy to take care of.  They gave him nausea medicine and also medicine for a yeast infection in his ear.  So thankful she took him in.

After I got home, I set up the screen tent to make sure it was nice and dry when I back it up for the winter.  It was so easy  to set up.  I took it down after a couple of hours.  When Melissa got home with Evan, I went and picked him up and took him to McDonalds.  He ate and then he had fun playing.  He wanted an ice cream cone after playing.  He was such a good boy.  He and Isaac both had great days at school and didn't have any accidents.  Thank you Lord for answered prayer.  Evan and I came home and I helped him with his homework, making sure he wrote his numbers the right way.  He did a good job and got pretty good at it after practicing.  After that, we went out and  I gave him a ride in the wheel barrow and picked 8 pumpkins. The 9th one is still green so we left it.  Evan wanted the clean one.  It was the only one that had hardly any dirt on it.  He is so funny and cute.

9/13/16...Vikki and Kimmy came to our Tues morning breakfast

We called Melissa after breakfast and she met us at Bethesda Thrift Store.  We all went to Tim Hortons afterward and toolk our drinks to Melissa's.  We watched Amy Vanderhaag and her friend from Frankenmuth, Heather, on Cake Wars .  They did great.  Won second place.  The girls went to school with Amy and were good friends with her.  We had fun and good sharing at Melissa's.  Kimmy had to leave to go for a dentist appt.   A little later,  I went with Vikki to pick up Peyton and Isaac from school.  Talked to Scott for a while and then talked to Katie.  Met the kid's teacher.  She was so nice!  Isaac was excited that he didn't have an accident and got a wolf card for being responsible.  4 more days and he gets a surprise. Evan didn't have an accident either.  Thanking God for answering our prayers.  Rode our motorcycle and met Wes and Gayla at the theater to see the documentary "The Insanity of God". It was about the persecuted church and how it is worth it all to follow Jesus!  AMEN!  We all went to Culvers afterward for ice cream.

This is Amy and Heather on the show Cake Wars.  So cute!

Proud of these girls and the amazing talent God has blessed them with!

9/12/16...Left Outdoor Adventures

Bill on his cell phone...

View out my window by the table this morning....our neighbors have left

Got up and went to the club house for coffee.  Had to wait a few minutes for it to finish brewing.
Came back and packed up a few things.  Made eggs, toast and bacon for breakfast.  After we ate, we packed the rest of the stuff.  Bill did the outside and I did the inside.  We finished around the same time and took the Clam down.  Love that it is so easy.  We left and took the back roads through Vassar.  Came home and unpacked the refrigerator and some stuff in the cupboards.  Went to Meijers and then to Toys R us.  Picked up Discovery Bendable Fort Builders for Eli.  Went to Vikki's to pick up Mocha.  Came home and warmed chili for supper.  Unpacked the rest of the camper.  Kenzie came over for a few minutes to get some stuff.  She sounds really congested.  Said she went to the doctor and got medicine.  Prayed for her and Omi as she has the same symptoms.  Bill went to a director's meeting at BayShore.
