I made my salad and got everything ready to go to the Christmas Party.  Made towel holders and put them in gift bags for Lourdes, Debbie and Denise.  Will have to give Carol hers later as she is sick and can't come.  I went to pick up Kenzie in Bay City.  We got back to my house and she straightened her hair and got ready.  I changed and then we all left for Lansing.  We got 47 mpg in our new Prius which made us very happy.  We've been studying up how to drive and get the most miles per gallon.  We are getting better at it but still need more practice.  We got close to Lansing and it started snowing.  We didn't have any snow at our house but the ground was covered there.  It was so nice seeing everyone and getting to meet Chrissy, Joey's girlfriend.  We all liked her a lot.  We ate ham, mashed potatoes, corn, green bean casserole, cheesy potatoes, salad, raw veggies cut up, and pumpkin bread for dessert.  Jim made his yummy candy (chocolate, dark chocolate, butterscotch covered peanuts).  After we ate, the kids did a game where they had to see how many animals they could find in a picture.  Jacob won because he found all 9.  Max found 8.  Then they paired off in twos and had to name all 6 birthdays in December.   The kids had so much fun and the lucky winners got to split $50.  Then we had teams of six of us play a fun game where one person wears a thing with cards and the rest of the team has to give clues so they can guess the words.  It was lots of fun and gave us so many laughs.  Fred handed out lots of lottery cards and everyone had fun scratching them off.  It was a very fun party and the kids were all amazing.

12/8/16 Went to decorate the Methodist church in Frankenmuth for BayShore's Staff Christmas party

Bill helping with tables

He did a good job cleaning the floors

We drove through Frankenmuth and then walked through Bavarian Inn Gift Shops

We had fun decorating the room for the Christmas Party for BayShore Staff.  Bill and I did that while three people were preparing the food in the kitchen.  We had a nice time walking through Bavarian Inn Gift Shops after that.  Watched a movie when we got home.

Evan, Kaiden, Gigi, Aleyiah, Morgan, Sienna, Logan, Tyler, Peyton and Isaac with their gingerbread house

Jared came over on his lunch hour and cleaned our gutters out!  Thank you Jared!!!  Bill was just about to start doing them.  He shouldn't be on the ladder with his knee replacements let alone his broken foot.  I am so thankful to have them done for him.  I picked up Evan to take to church with me.  Hailey was watching him and Jack.  She had made popcorn for them and they were pretty happy and excited.  We had fun in our class.  The kids were excited to go make a gingerbread house to earn one of their badges.

Adam, Jared and Bill watching the concert

Went to our breakfast.  Today's devotion was really good.  There were 10 of us there.  Afterward, Bill and I went to Kroger's to get milk.  Came home and made an apple pie to take to Merijo and Greg's with their dinner.  Merijo just got home from the hospital.  She had pancreatitis and then had to have her gall bladder out.  Made scalloped potatoes and ham, salad, and homemade applesauce for them later.  I got all the presents I have so far wrapped.  We took the food to Merijo and Greg.  They have a really long driveway in the woods.  Bill took us up the wrong driveway so I texted her to get her address.  She didn't answer.  Bill found the right driveway by the time Greg called him.  We visited for a little while and then we left to go to Jacob's band concert.  I am so glad his concerts have been on Tuesday's this year so I can go.  Last year they were on Wednesdays, and I had to teach my kids class.  Kimmy, Jared, Adam and Eli saved us seats.  We were happy to see them.  The concert was wonderful and Jacob did amazing on his clarinet.  I was very impressed how well the bands all played.  It was nice to hear the progression up to the High School Band.  They were amazing.  Adam and Eli were such good boys!

12/5/16...Watched Max, Jack and Evan today. They were really good!

Evan, Jack and Max...so much fun with these boys today

Hailey with a yummy cookie she made.  She gave me some and they were delicious

It was beautiful out when I got up.  The snow was on the trees, bushes and ground so I took these pictures.  Spent my time with the Lord and then got some things done around the house.  I left to go to Melissa's and was going to pick up Tim Horton donuts to surprise them.  I was the one that got a surprise....Tim Horton's is closed for remodeling.  Ended up going to Kroger's to get donuts, but they weren't the best.  The best surprise was, when I got there Hailey had just baked chocolate chip cookies and they were delicious.  She had a bag all fixed up to give papa with a note on them.  What a sweetie.  Sure love that girl!  Had fun with the boys while Melissa, Bruce and Hailey were gone.  Came home and cleaned some on the upstairs room and attic.  Bill and I watched the movie, "Mrs. Miracle".

12/4/16....Nice church service, Vikki and Isaac came over, Went to Care group

Love this picture Melissa posted.  They put their Christmas decorations and tree up yesterday and these kiddos were great helpers.  Hailey, Jack, Evan and Max
Went to church this morning.  Vikki, Rody, Peyton, Isaac, Melissa (and all of her family), Stacie and Bill and I sat in one row.  Pastor preached a great message.  After church, Vikki came over while Rody went to a Consumers meeting after church.  The kids had peanut butter and jelly sandwiches (they picked that) and Vikki had meatballs.  I had a ham sandwich and Bill had left over roast.
Vikki and I searched for car seat covers and mats on the computer.   Later she, Isaac and I went and looked for some in the stores but found nothing we liked.  Came home, went over our lesson for care group and then went to care group.  Finished our lesson book.  Next week we have our Christmas party at Nancy and Randy's.
