Melissa and Hailey celebrating Hailey's 13th Birthday

Baked Christmas cookies....3 batches
Called Hailey to wish her Happy Birthday.  Can't believe she is thirteen already.  She sure is a sweetie.  Spent a lot of the day baking.  Took a batch of cookies to Melissa's so they could decorate them.  I know Dec. is a very busy month for them.  The kids were so happy when I got there, and pretty excited about the cookies.  Kenzie called and wanted me to pick her up from Omi's and take her back home.  I couldn't believe their roads weren't plowed yet.  My Prius went right through all that snow really good.  When I got to Kenzie's, her road wasn't plowed by her place either.
We had a nice visit while riding.  Came home and watched fixer uppers.

12/16/16...Went to visit Wes

Went to Sportszone and forgot my fitbit!  Boo Hoo.  I walked 2 laps and than Pastor Bob joined me.  We walk about the same pace so walked together for 3 miles plus 2 more laps.  He walked one more after that, but since I already had 2 more in, I quit.  Came home and finished doing my Christmas cards.  Charlie picked Bill up for the Christmas Party at the VA Hospital for veterans.  Kenny met them there.  I made a grocery list, got my coupons ready, and went grocery shopping.  When I got home, Bill was back and we went to see Wes in the hospital.  He had an oxygen mask on.  He had gone into A fib twice, but now was doing better.  By the time we left, he was doing good again.  We came home and ordered pizza's from G's and watched a movie.
This is the picture they took at the party of Bill, Kenny and Charlie

12/15/16..Kimmy and Melissa came over. Vikki wasn't feeling well so she didn't come over

Kimmy came in the morning.  Kenzie was still sleeping on the couch, but she woke up when Kimmy came.  We all had a nice time visiting.  Kimmy ordered something for me for Bill for Christmas online.  She is always so helpful.  She also sewed Kenzie's bag for her.  Melissa came at 11:45 and brought Livia. I made pizza and we ate.  We visited and then decided to go to Family Christian Store. I dropped Kimmy off at the Dollar store and then picked her back up when we got done.  I was trying to hurry because Kimmy had to pick the boys up and I went to pay and realized I forgot my purse in the car.  Melissa forgot hers in her van.  First time for me.  I ran out to get it.  Then the Action Bibles I picked out for the boys weren't the ones on sale, but were Study Bibles, so she ended up having to order them.  They were regularly $26 and were on sale for 13 which was great.  That took longer too because the sale price didn't come up so she had to redo it.  I hurried and left and picked up Kimmy so she could get home.  Melissa went to get her kids from school after that. Bill went with Charlie to Matt Starkey's financial planning meeting.  I did my Christmas cards and watched a movie.  Bill got home and we finished the movie.

12/14/16...Went to see Wes before his triple bypass and sat with Gayla during his surgery

The kids practicing their songs

My pretty Angel Peyton

Bill at the hospital while Wes was having a triple Bypass.  Gayla's sister in law, Karen, was crocheting a hat and then she blessed Bill with it.  He sure was happy.  Janet is laughing at how funny he was.

Kenzie sent me this picture of her getting ready for her interview at the hospital

Got up at 4:30 and got ready to go to the hospital.  We wanted to see Wes and pray for him before he had his surgery.  We got there and they were preping him.  We waited with Gayla, Janet and Ed and then they came and got us and we all got to go pray with him.  He was pretty groggy by that time.  They started his surgery at 8.  We went to the cafeteria and had breakfast.  I had a breakfast sandwich with bacon and egg.  Gayla's brother and sister in law came and found us there.  Wes was done with the triple bypass by 10:30 and he was moved to ICU recovery.  We left once we knew he was ok.  I called Gayla and she said when she got to see him he was still pretty much out of it.  He did squeeze her hand back when she squeezed his though.  He was still on the vent.  I came home and wrapped more Christmas gifts.  Went to church for my class.  The kids got there early to practice the Christmas play.  Evan and Jack sat by me and so did Addison and Kaiden.  They haven't been there enough to be in it.  Melissa was pretty busy with 3 kids in the Boar's Head Festival.  The kids did a good job and were really cute.  We went to our classroom afterward and made cards for the elderly.  Then we went to the 4th grade room and had cocoa, popcorn and watched movies. We all had fun.  Aleiyah gave me gift package with Lotion, Shower gel, and fragrance spray from Bath and Body works.  Such a surprise.  It had a note on it saying "for taking care of 10 Nelsons"  They have 10 kids in their family.  Really sweet of them and Aleiyah was so happy because she picked out the scent.

12/13/16....went to breakfast and then took Louise home and put her little tree from Phyllis together

Made a blueberry pie...it's disappearing

I went to Kenzie's and finally got 50 mpg on the dashboard.  Yay!
Louise by her little tree

Went to breakfast.  Wes and Gayla came before his appt. at the hospital.  He couldn't eat though.  After breakfast, we took Louise home and went in and set a little tree Phyllis and Andy gave her.  It was his aunt's that passed away not too long ago.  Louise is usually in Florida, but isn't going until after Christmas this year.  We are trying to talk her into coming to our house for our Christmas Eve dinner.  She never wants to bother anyone,  She sure is never a bother.
Made dinner in the crockpot....sloppy joes.  Also made mashed potatoes and corn from the garden.
Made round steak, cream of chicken soup, mashed potatoes for Nancy, Randy and her dad.  She has been pretty sick and her dad had an eye bleed yesterday.  From there, I went to Kenzie's.  We went to thrift shops so she could find something to wear tomorrow at her interview at the hospital.  She found a peach blazer and it was like one she had in a picture with her.  She was happy.  When I got to her house my mpg on the dashboard was 50.9 mpg.  I was so happy to hit 50.  Came home and ate, and watched Fixer Uppers.

12/12/16...First time for me driving the Prius in the snow and it drove great.

Borrowed some cute snow pictures that Melissa and Bruce Posted since I didn't take any pictures today

Hailey in the snow

Fun sled ride

Hailey's not to big for a horsey ride

Evan

Jack..at least I think it's him under all that snow

The snow was beautiful this morning.  All the schools but Freeland were closed.  On Channel 5's asking the tough questions during the news, Eric Kovaleski was on asking why they had school when no one else did and saying how dangerous it was.  He goes to our church.  Bill snowblower the driveway again.  Looks like he will keep the small snowblower for sidewalks as the tractor doesn't fit, it's too big.  I shoveled a path on the deck while he did that.
I went shopping and got hash browns to make cheesy potatoes.  A friend's mom was told her cancer has spread to her lungs and liver.  She loves cheesy potatoes so I made that for her, plus chicken, a salad and brownies.  Saw Wes and Gayla at Aldi's.  Wes has his heart cath tomorrow at noon.  Sure am praying for him.  Went to Salvation Army.  Got a pair of sketchers.  Found some snow pants for Peyton.  I was looking for Vikki because she said she needed some and they were the only pair in the store.  They were on the incoming rack and exactly the size she needed.  They have to takes no pants to school.  I sure was happy.  Delivered the meal and then came home and ate with Bill.  We watched the news and then a Christmas Movie.  Love watching good Christmas movies.

12/11/16...Got a big snowstorm.

Absolutely love this picture of Peyton and Isaac

Bill using his snowblower on his tractor for the first time.  He doesn't have the cab with the wiper on it yet.  Has to get some brackets

Cute marshmallow ornaments from Debbie.  Mine has a smile.  Bill's doesn't because his is the roasted one ha ha!

It was snowing when we got up.  We went to church.  The car only slipped once at a stop sign by church.  It drove good Bill said.  Worship was amazing.  I taught Sunday School and had fun with my kiddos.  Had one little boy who was new that didn't want to do anything but hide under the table, but he finally got into having fun and doing the lesson with us.  Came home and made lunch and ate.  Bill tried out the new snow blower on his tractor.  Looks like he still needs to keep the small one for sidewalks as the tractor one is too big.  It sure gets the driveway done fast.  I will be happy when he has the cover on his tractor to keep him from getting all snowy.  After he finished ours, he went to His Restoration and did theirs.  I watched a Christmas movie.  Still snowing and they finally put on the school closings.  None of our grandkids have school tomorrow.  I can imagine they are pretty excited about that and all this snow.  Bill and I watched another movie and relaxed.
