10/14/17..Went over our itinerary for our trip...Started making a short version to carry with us. Went to Barbs

I was taking a picture of the scoresheet...I won and Bill was the big loser.  He moved his hand over everybody's score but his....We all had a laugh.  

Wes was so happy when he went out right away and stuck us all with lots of points....I don't think I've seen a happier picture of him; he wasn't posing for it either.

Got up and went to meet Vikki at Goodwill.  I was very happy to see she had Peyton with her.  Peyton saw me in the window when she was walking in the parking lot.  Sure love that little sweetie.  I left to go home so I could make it to Jack's game.  It wasn't raining so thought he might still play.  I talked to Melissa on my way home and she said the game was just cancelled.  Got home and warmed up chili for us.  Started making a short version of our itinerary for our trip to NY.  

Left at 1 to pick up Wes and Gayla to go see Barb with us.  We got there and played cards and then took her out to dinner.  We had lots of fun.  She gets her cast off her foot Thurs and then gets a air cast.  We came home and watched a Hallmark movie while I finished the itinerary.  

10/13/17....went and got some stuff for my surprise box for kids at church and some stuff for Samaritan Purse shoeboxes. Went on motorcycle ride to see colors

I went shopping for stuff to make cheesy potatoes for Sunday, and then went to get some stuff for my surprise box for the kids at church and also for my Samaritan shoe boxes for kids.  I found some fun things.  I picked up a few things for Kenzie's new apartment too.  Got home and we left to meet others from Faith Riders to go on a ride and have lunch.  We called Wes and Gayla to see if they were done with Joel's appointment and they were almost home.  We told them we would stop by their house so they could go.  They thought they would be too late.  We got there and the guys had to help Wes get a bolt in his wheel.  It had come out and he had just picked the one he ordered up.  They had a little problem getting it in so we ladies prayed and then it went in and we headed out.  

We went for a nice ride through the country and saw some pretty color.  We ended up in Beaverton, so ate at the Beaverton Tavern.  They are know for their delicious wet burritos.  I got a small one and it was enormous.  Bill got the perch and walleye.  After we ate, we headed back home.  

It was a nice day for a ride.  It was sunny when we started out, but then got really cloudy.  Bill let Eva use his coat he had in the bike because she just had a jean jack on and she got cold when the sun went down.  Watched a Hallmark movie when we got home.  I talked to Vikki and Melissa when I got home.  Very nice day!

10/12/17...Walked at Sportszone, Bill volunteered at the VA, Got some stuff ready for our New York trip, Ate my left over turkey sandwich from Zehnders, Went to Faith Rider's meeting

I spent my quiet time with the Lord and then went to walk at the Sportszone.  They had one little area in the far corner of the track roped off because they were cleaning it, so we walked one direction and then did a u turn and went the other direction and did a u turn.  I walked my three high speed miles and then came home and ate my leftovers from Zehnders.  It was just as good as it was yesterday.
Got some things ready for our New York trip.  I'm getting excited about going.  Bill spent the day volunteering at the VA.  We went to our Faith Rider's chapter meeting in the evening.  Bill did a great job leading it.  We had nominations for officers and other positions.  Looks like Bill will still be president and I will be web master and newsletter editor still.  No one wanted to take over.

10/11/17..Went to Ollie, Went to Frankenmuth with Kimmy and Vikki for their birthday dinners, taught my class at church

Charlie and Sue picked us up and we went to Ollie at SVSU with them and their friend Tom.  They had a speaker there who talked on Agent Orange.  He was a very good speaker and it was very interesting.  The place was packed.  When I got home, I went over my lesson for tonights Delta Club at church.  Kimmy got here and we went to Vikki's to pick her up and headed to Frankenmuth.    We went to Zehnder's and sampled some goodies in the bakery.  Then we went upstairs and the girls got their free family style dinners and I got a half hot chicken sandwich with mashed potatoes, dressing, squash and buttered noodles.  I also had cranberries, cottage cheese, cranberries and liver pate that the waitress brought the girls and they didn't like.  She told me I could have them.  YUM!

The girls had great food and we all had fun and really got full.  We were so full none of us could eat the free hot fudge sundaes that came with the meal.  Bummer!  We went to Bronner's after we were done to get our free ornaments.  They are beautiful this year.  We went to the Bead Store in Frankenmuth and picked out assorted beads for Vikki.  It was so much fun.  She wanted stuff to make bracelets for her birthday this year.  I dropped the girls off at Vikki's so they could go to Bigby's and get their free drink there.  I got home, changed and went to teach my class.  It went well and the kids were great.  So thankful for all the blessings from the Lord!

10/10/17....Went to our breakfast at Sullivan's, Stopped at Melissa's, took Kenzie to work, Got ready for small group, had small group

Nine of us showed up for our breakfast.  After breakfast, I went to Melissa's and dropped off popcorn from the movie last night, and also dropped off stuff Sue sent for Max and some candy Kim Reminder made.  Thought the kids would like it.  
I went to Kenzie's and gave her a ride to work.  On my way home, I stopped at Aldi's and got apple cider for small group tonight.  Came home and made chili.  Worked on kids lesson for my class tomorrow night.  Then I got stuff ready for small group.  After Vikki got out of work, she and the kids came over.   She and Isaac had some chili.  Peyton didn't want any.  They both had snacks here too.  I got lots of hugs from Peyton....she was really cuddly and sweet.  Got one big hug from Isaac.  Small group went great.  It was a good study on persistence and prayer.

10/9/17...Walked three miles, Took the car for an oil change, went to see A Question of Faith

Went to Sportszone and walked three miles.  Came home and got ready to take the car for an oil change in Bay City.  Blessed to have one free oil change left to use.  I called Kenzie to see if she could go get a sandwich with me, but she was working.  Went to Roy and Marie's to take them the questions I ran off for our small group.  They don't have internet so couldn't get them on line.  We had a nice little visit and she picked some pretty flowers for me.  So sweet of her.  Love hydrangeas too.  I am going to get some of this kind to plant.  Got home and did some things on my list and then Charlie picked us up to go to a movie.  We saw A Question of Faith.  It was a tear jerker, but was a very good movie.  Bill and I went to Logans for dinner after we got home from the movie.  He had chopped steak and I had salmon and a shrimp skewer.  We both had a huge baked potato, salad and roll.  It was so yummy! 

10/8/17...Went to church, went on a motorcycle ride to Gladwin, the weather was just beautiful and in the high 70's,

Went to church and worship was awesome.  We heard a great message too.  Can't wait to study it more at small group and apply it in my life.  We got home and warmed up the rest of the round steak and mashed potatoes and ate. Got ready and left to meet everyone riding on our ride at Meijer.  

Ten of us rode.  What a beautiful sunny day in the high 70's.  There wasn't a lot of color yet, but we did see some beautiful colored trees in spots.  We got to our destination and the ice cream place was closed for the season even though on their web site it says they are open.  We were disappointed, but go on our phones and found some other names of ice cream places.  We ended up at another place that was closed.  We saw a restaurant next door and decided to go there for dessert.  They had great desserts and they were delicious.  We were all pretty happy about that.  We had a nice ride home.  Bill led the way as he wanted to try a different route so we could see more color.  We sure did see some nice color that way.  After we got home, I sat outside with Mocha for a little while to enjoy the great weather.  We watched a movie and I made popcorn for Bill.  I had trail mix for my snack.
