Getting ready to leave our Faith Rider's meeting
Went and walked the rail trail.  Went two miles and then came home and made oatmeal and a coffee.  I was out eating them on the front porch on the swing and Kimmy and the boys came.  I sure am happy school is out so I can see them more.  We all worked on setting up my new tent.  They were such good helpers and tent went up really easy.  Kimmy and I walked around the yard and looked at my flowers and plants and also the garden.  The boys enjoyed telling Google to play different worship videos on the TV.  Kimmy and I enjoyed it too.  Vikki had to go to Walmart so go here awhile after.  She and the kids watched some worship videos with us too.  Lucy is so cute and is becoming much more well behaved and fun to be around.  She catches on so fast to stuff.  Smart doggie!  We all made sandwiches and then went to Haithco.  The kids had fun swimming and playing in the sand.  We enjoyed being in our hammocks and watched the kids from there.  They have life guards watching too so that is great.  We stayed there for a couple hours, and then went to Cabella's for Kimmy to get bunk cots.  They are so nice.  After that we went to Old Navy.  She took some shorts back and got shirts for Jacob and some flip-flops for $2.  I got 3 tops and a pair of flip flops.  I accidentally got the wrong size for one of the shirts so Vikki tried it on and liked and she bought it.  We dug up some tree starts (Sycamore) and some purple poppy plants for Kimmy to plant at her house.  They left and Bill and I got ready and went on the motorcycle to our Faith Rider's Meeting. There was a good turnout and the meeting went great.  We went with Wes and Gayla to Mooneys afterwards and they treated us to ice cream cones.  What great friends they are.  What a wonderful family I have.  I love my family!

6/13/18...Got my green card, Took Melissa to get her heart monitor, Saw an eagle in the nest and the mom or dad flew by me and into the nest. Went to Jacks, Made dinner for Dawn, Mike and Family and delivered it. Hoed part of the garden

Max, Hailey, Jack and Evan after we got home.  Don't know why Jack covered his eyes in the top picture or Max did in the next  picture.  Silly brothers

We picked up Melissa and went to the Naval Reserve and Bill and I went in to get my green card while Melissa waited for us in the car.  We got there early and got right in and it is a good thing.  The guy ran the computer and printed the card and then asked me to check it and he had my birth date wrong.  He had to do everything over.  We still got done, took bill to meet Charlie at Tim Horton's and made it to Melissa appointment in time.  She got the heart monitor to wear until Friday morning. They are trying to figure out what's going on as she has weird things going on when her potassium is low.  She almost fell when we came out and were walking.  I grabbed her and said I'm not going to let you fall.  It sure was close.  I bet her heart monitor showed some excitement.  I went in to see the kids when we got back and then left.  Went to Jack's and got some lunchmeat, burger and bread.  On my way home I stopped and parked across from the eagles. I could see one in the nest and one flew by me and landed on the next. Made my day. Did some hoeing in the garden.  Made meatloaf, mashed potatoes, corn and an apple pie and took it to Dawn's.  The road she lives on is being resurfaced so every time I tried to follow the GPS I couldn't do what she said.  Everywhere I turned there was a road closed sign.  I hadn't been to her house in a long time so didn't really know her crossroads.  I didn't have her phone number either.  I facebook messaged her and asked her to call me.  After about 5 minutes she did.  She finally directed me to where I could at least park across from her house.
She had a double mastectomy and has had infections and problems ever since.  Praying she gets better quickly.

Went to our breakfast at Sullivans.  Had a good devotion, prayer time and nice time visiting.  We came home afterward and cleaned the garage and washed my car.  We went to Isaac's room an his teacher told us she would get Peyton for us too so we could all go together to lunch.  That was so sweet, because it was set up for them to have different times for lunch.  When we walked into Isaac's room, he told us he ad been waiting for us.  He came and gave us a big hug and led us to Peyton's room to get her.  She was excited to see us too.  Such sweet kiddos.  We had fun with them and enjoyed our food:  hotdog, watermelon, carrots, celery, cucumbers, and ice cream with sprinkles.  Katie, Amy and their kiddos sat at our table.  Loved getting to see Amy's new baby girl.
After we were done eating, the kids wanted to leave instead of playing,  We signed them out with their teachers and left.  I was almost going by Hungry Howie's when I called Melissa and she told me she had been trying to call them and the phone had been busy for 20 minutes.  I told her I would stop and order what she wanted.  She told me what to order and I took the kids in and ordered.  We went to Melissa's and Peyton and Isaac wanted to go outside and play.  Jack was out with them and then came in.  He asked if someone would please open the door for him.  He had two cups of water in his hands and told us Peyton and Isaac were really thirsty so he was taking them water.  So sweet of him.  I ended up hiring him to watch Peyton and Isaac while I went and got the pizzas and then when I left to go meet Vikki Eddy.  I gave him a couple of dollars and he was so happy.  I went and met my friend Vikki at Taco Bell and we stayed there for a long time and just visited.  What a wonderful friend she is. Talked to Bill and he got a great report at the doctors.  All his numbers were good and his kidney test was good too.  I am praising and thanking God.  YAY!  Went to Haithco Park with Vikki and the twins. We ate sandwiches and chips and then relaxed in our hammocks.  The kids had fun swimming and playing together.  Came home and planted Hens and Chicks in m new planer.  It looks so nice.  Water all of my plants and our garden.   Glad that job is done.   What a wonderful day!

Got ready and went to Melissa's at 8:15.  I went upstairs and woke Hailey up so she could watch the kids while I took Melissa to get her blood test.  She had to fast, so after her blood test we went to Tony's for breakfast.  I knew she would be hungry.  We had a nice time there and then I took her home, took some pictures of the kids and then went to Krogers to get 4x fuel point gift cards.  I was happy they had the special because I was getting low on them.  I went to Aldi's too and picked up a triple planter for on my deck.  Picked up branches from lilac bushes Bill trimmed.  I also transplanted some plants.  Bill had his liver function test.  I sure am praying for him.  He gets the results tomorrow.  I took Linda Magnus her pendant that Kenzie made for her.  We visited for a while.  Glad to see Kenzie make money on her beautiful artwork.  Linda loved the pendant and also the shell Kenzie brought her from Florida.  Waiting to hear on the News how President Trump's meeting with the North Korean Leader, Kim, went.

Max was pretty happy when I picked him up and took him to Sue's to hear the frogs and look for them.  He didn't want to sit on a chair because he though this stump was lots more comfortable.
Sue had a nice fire going when we got there

Sue and Max looking for frogs and tadpoles.

He saw lots of tadpoles when he used her flashlight

Of course he found a frog.  He has always been the best frog finder and still is
He was happy when Sue gave hum these logs with lots of holes from the woodpeckers.  He sure knows a lot about nature.  Sue and I enjoyed listening to him.

I went to hear Hailey sing and help lead worship at Bethlehem.  It was nice hearing Ally give her validictorian speech. All the eight graders gave a testimony of what God's done in their life.  After the service, I went to our church.  I was a half hour late, but made it in time for a couple of worship songs and the message.  After the service, we left for Frankenmuth.  We stopped at Tim Horton's for donuts and coffee.  We took the back way into town and parked where we always do.  Debbie had all the places saved for us like she does every year.  We watched the parade. Peyton held her ears when noisy trucks went by.  She's just like Hailey used to be.  After the parade, we went to Debbie's.  The kids swam and had lots of fun.  It was pretty cloudy and in the 70's.  Nice cool day.  We ate lunch.  The food was delicious.  After dinner the kids swam some more.  The sun came out and it ws beautiful.  We left at 6:30.  What a great day with family.  At about 9:15 p.m. Sue called me and wanted me to bring Max to her house because she could hear lots of frogs and had a fire going.  He was pretty happy when I called and wanted to go.  He was waiting on the porch when I picked him up.  We went to Sue's and he walked around the pond.  I was happy when she went in and got him a flashlight as it was hard to see him with his dark clothes.  The pond isn't real big and they filled it in so it's only 4 feet deep.  Still made me service when I couldn't see him real good.  He was so happy when he found a frog and saw tons of tadpoles.  He was happy Sue gave him the pieces of wood with the holes from the woodpeckers.  I took him home after that.  What a fun time with my sweet grandson.

6/9/18...Cleaned some of the house, Bill volunteered to collect money at Walmart for Marine Corp. League, washed sheets, checked out the garden, made lots of potato salad for tomorrow.

Four nice sized baby robins in this nest.  They look like they will be leaving the nest soon

Cute pictures of Hailey and her class volunteering at the Soup Kitchen.  They got lots of compliments on what hard workers they were. Love that her school does things like this.

Bill got up early to go volunteer at Walmart to Collect money for the Marine Corp. League.  Dennis Watkins was volunteering at the second door.  I cleaned the house and got eggs and potatoes cooking for potato salad.  Bill called me to say if I came there, to please bring him a sandwich.  He was there till 11 and then had to be back by 1 p.m.  I took him an egg salad sandwich and a water.  He was very happy. He came home for a little while and then had to go back.  I made the potato salad for Debbie's tomorrow.  Talked to Melissa lots.  Love how she see's all that God has done for her even in the midst of what she is going through.  Talked to Vikki a couple of times.  Showed her a video of my birds.
