8/1/18 Another fun day at BayShoe

We all got ready and went to class.  Sarah came into our class and said she needed family 20 on lot 13.  We are on lot 14 so it threw me off for a minute but we knew we were family number 20.  Peyton had got her finger caught in the rope to the tether ball.  It was cut and had rope burn but wasn’t broken!  Praise God!  I helped the nurse wash it as Peyton told her she wanted me to do it. Poor sweetheart.  It hurt her so bad.  At the end she got surprise medicine. A cookie with chocolate chips and nuts. She said she loved the nuts.  She didn’t want to go back to class but wanted to stay with me.   She wanted to call her mom right away too.  Vikki’s phone had shut off so it took a while.  Peyton went back for the second half of class a soon as the Tylenol kicked in. Vikki called as soon s he got my message. Peyton we having her snack outside and was so happy to talk to her.  I was walking with Bill because he was going home to check on the workers, visiting Melissa and washing his motorcycle.  We were close to the dining hall and I heard them announce they were running behind and needed volunteers to do dishes.  I figured God wanted me to do it since I was right there so I went to help.  One guy was rinsing food off, another was drying and I rinsed, dipped them in sanitizer water and stacked them then put them away.  At night in the tabernacle, there I was on the video doing dishes.  Peyton Sid, there’s nana.  The kids swam and played.  Hailey came and took each one with her for a while.  Hailey was so sweet.  We lost Isaac and Jack for a while but found them coming from the arc playground.  The message was good at the tabernacle.  They announced to get our kids because there were storms.  Praise God it went around us and we only got sprinkles. Free ice cream for everyone tonight thanks to a generous giver.Talked to Melissa and Vikki today. Sure am missing all three of my girls.  FaceTimed Melissa so the kids could talk to her. Tucked the kids in and prayed with them.  Bill and I played 3-13. I lost.

7/31/18..Bruce came to spend the day. The kids were all excited.

Went to class. Bruce came up at 12:30. It was so nice having him here. The kids were very excited to see him.  We went to play laser tag after quiet time. The boys all had fun.  Isaac absolutely loved it and wanted to call his mom and tell her right away that he played.  He took the kids to the zip line. Peyton and Isaac played on the tire swings and then Bruce took them all to ride the barrel train.  Mike Vargas came to visit.  Kimmy called me while they were at the beach.  The boys were having fun in the waves of Lake Superior.  Kimmy and I had such a nice talk. I sure am missing her.  Max is being super good as is quick to help me joyfully with whatever I need.  I am blessed with all these sweet grand children.  We ate spaghetti at our campsite and Bruce ate with us.  He had to leave after that.  We went to the tabernacle after that.  All the kids left to go to their class and I went to help Tasha with the three year old class.  Went and had ice cream after that.  Wes and Gayla scooped ice cream a. Tasha, her hubby and Caleb sat with us.  Bill took the kids back to the camper.  I called Melissa and talked to her.  What great faith and a great attitude she has. She and Vikki FaceTimed us today.  Loved that.  Bill had all the kids getting ready for bed when I got there.  He listened to some say their prayers and I listened to the rest.  My heart is touched by the way they pray from their hearts.  Good job training them

7/30/18...Scavenger hunt at BayShore, Kenzie went to see her Aunt Missy at the Rehab and spent time with Vikki at her house

It was a little harder for Jack because if he kneeled, he was too short to reach the table and if he stood, it was hard to keep the spoon straight because he was too high

We got up and got ready for our classes. So nice that Jack, Evan, Peyton, and Isaac are all in God Squad together.  Max and Hailey are very responsible and are helping and doing great.  Bill and I went to Adam’s class on Hebrews.  Wes and Gayla saved seats for us. Great class.  Went to the class in the tabernacle after cookie and coffee time.  Came back and ate lunch and then Bill went and picked up groceries for us.  After lunch Mia, Hailey, Jack and I did the scavenger hunt.  We had fun but were happy to jump in the pool afterwards.  Bill took the other kids swimming while we were doing the hunt. Made pizzas for dinner.  Kenzie called and talked to everyone.  She was at Vikki’s. She went to the hospital to see Melissa.  We went to church and the kids went to God Squad.  Youth stayed in the tabernacle and listened to the message. It was a very good one.  The kids bought tricks after class.  We went and got free popcorn and then came to the camper. They tried their tricks and, I washed the three youngest ones feet.  Jack and Evan slept in the tent.  Train came for the first time and the kids were all very excited.

Slept in til 7.  Hailey got in our camper around 8 and got ready.  Hailey, Evan, Peyton and Max had cereal and everybody else had pancakes.  Jack absolutely loved my pancakes and said I should teach his dad how to make them.  Ha ha all I did was add water to the mix.  Hailey got ready and she and Hailey left for class.  Max reminded me he had class too.  Forgot he’s a youth now!  We went to service in the tabernacle at 10;45. Kids  went to class during service.  Came back and ate lunch.  Relaxed while the kids played war.  Went swimming after that.  Beautiful warm day but not muggy.  Papa came swimming and the kids all had fun with him.  The kids were excited to go to the store and buy stuff. Everybody got candy except Jack and Isaac got fans that squirt water.  Jack, Evan and Isaac rode the barrel train.  Bill grilled chicken and I made mashed potatoes and corn.  FaceTimed Melissa and saw how happy Abby was to see her. She wouldn’t quit wagging her tail. Gayla brought us rhubarb cake. Went to service and kids went to class.  The kids had ice cream. I had Evan put his swimming suit on and washed his hair ang gave him a shower in our outside shower. Than he had ice cream. He was really dirty because he threw dirt up in the air over his head.  Kids all went to bed good.  I love these grandkiddos so much.
