It was a beautiful morning.  We ate and then got ready and went swimming.  The water was so warm and nice.  After that we played another game of golf.  Evan wanted us to keep his score this time.  Jack got a hole in one and was very happy.  The boys wanted to ride their bikes, so they did that while I cut up potatoes for tonight's meal.  I also made up hamburger patties.  Started baked beans in the crock pot. Melissa and Bruce are  coming up to spend the evening and pick up the boys.  Vikki and the kids are coming too.  I called Kimmy a couple of times, but she didn't answer.  I left her a message inviting them to come up too.  Read on my book some.  It is sure hard to put down now.  Bill just finished the first book.  We started a fire around three, so it would be hot to cook our burgers/hotdogs on by 4.  I put the potatoes on the camper outside grill.  Put Melissa's hobo dinner on the campfire grill.  Vikki got here around 4:30.  We hauled her stuff in and then she was sweet and cooked all the burgers.  We sure were busy.  I was by the grill and saw Bill and Max come on the motorcycle.  I was so happy to see them.  Bruce, Melissa and kids were behind them.  They all parked, and then we finished the food.  We set everything on the island in the camper and fixed our plates in there and then went outside to eat.   The burgers and everything tasted yummy.  After we ate, Bruce took the kids swimming.  Bill went there and sat and talked to him.  Bruce also took the kids to the store.  We made s'mores and ate them.  Hailey taught Melissa and I a new card game.  We laughed a lot.  I got stuck with almost the whole deck of cards, because I kept thinking the card Hailey was putting down couldn't really be the card she was saying.  She could trick me if I didn't catch her.  If she didn't have the right card down, she had to pick up the pile.  If she did have the right card and I called her on it, I had to pick up the pile.  I don't know how she had all the right cards, but she sure did.  Bruce, Melissa and the Kids left for home.  Bill, Vikki and I played 3-13.  Bill was the big winner.

It rained in the morning hard, so we stayed in the camper and watched the movie, Woodcarver.  The boys really liked it and I talked to them about WWJD which was in the movie.  They sure have good hearts for the Lord.  We went for a walk when the rain stopped.  Lots of water everywhere, but out campsite was dry.  There were big puddles in the road by us though.  The boys went swimming, but I just sat under the table with the umbrella and stayed dry.  It was just lightly raining.   They sat in the hot tub for a while and then we left. We went golfing after that, and I only beat Jack by 4 points this time.  We ate and then sat by the campfire.  We made s'mores and ate them.  After that we played dice and had so much fun.

Bill had to leave to get his stuff ready for the Marine Corp League meeting tonight.  The boys rode their bikes around and I walked.  It was sprinkling out so I wore my muck boots and took my umbrella.  Jack and I played dice.  It started raining harder so we watched the movie Flywheel.  The boys loved it.  Lots of teaching moments to talk to them about.  They went swimming in the outside pool and then we all got in the hot tub.  It was sprinkling out but the boys didn’t mind.  The boys rode their bikes a lot.  We had fun playing putt putt as grandpa called it.  Jack has really improved and plays a serious game now.  They wanted to start a fire from the hot coals, so I put paper and wood and got it going.  They went on the hayride and then I walked down to the pavilion and met them. We got ice cream in bowls with a cone on top. They also got sprinkles and chocolate on theirs.  They rode bikes again while I made spaghetti.  Jack ate three big helpings and started licking his plate clean.  He said it was the best!  They went to the playground and then we made s’mores.  The neighbor lady next to us came over and then her husband came too and we sat by the fire for 1 1/2 hrs.  They were nice, are believers, and he is a Vietnam veteran.  I got to share with them about all the miracles God has done for Melissa. We talked a lot about the Lord and our families.  I finally had to tell them I needed to get the boys to the shower.  They were pretty dirty.  Our camping neighbors said goodbye, and I walked to where I saw the boys playing. We went to the shower at the clubhouse.  The boys loved seeing the indoor pool empty. Some kids pulled the liner away from the wall and it was big enough for a small child to get in so they have to fix it now.  They need to at least put a camera in there!  The boys wanted to finish watching Flywheel.  The loved it and had great comments.  Here’s what I wrote down as Evan told me: It’s good to be on the news for being good behavior. It’s rare, very rare.   Evan said this while he watched the movie. “It’s good to be on the news for being good behavior. It’s rare, very rare.” Evan said this while he watched the movie. The guy and his dealership were on tv for being honest
Evan said.....”This is a great movie, there’s funny stuff, it teaches you about God, He was bad and turned Good when he loved Jesus. It teaches you how to turn good when you act bad!”

I Love this kid!!!

Evan and Jack eating at the campsite

Went to breakfast and then went to Melissa’s afterward.  I decided to just take Jack and Evan home with me since they were going camping with us at one anyway.  They were very excited!  We got to our house and the boys carried wood and loaded it in the truck. Great helpers!  Bill had an appointment and got home at 1:30.  The boys ate pizza and then we left.  Evan rode with Papa and Jack is rode with me. We took the back roads and they went on the expressway.  When we got to where the expressway was close to our road and I told Jack to look and see if he could see them.  He looked and said he could see them.  I looked and saw them.  First time that’s happened.  We got to the campground at the same time. We got the camper ready and the boys stacked the wood under the camper.  The boys were excited to ride their bikes around.  We ate and then the boys went to the camp store and got candy.   Bill had to run to Bay City quick so the boys and I went swimming in the outside pool. It was super warm.  We went in the hot tub and then headed back to the camper.  Papa got back and we made s’mores.  Sure was a busy and fun day. After I prayed with the boys and tucked them in, Bill and I read our books.

Mon., 6/17/19..Packed for our camping trip. Picked Evan and Max up. Exchanged chair for different style and color,

Bill teaching Max how to mow the grass with the tractor.  Max absolutely loved it and did amazing.  He even was going in reverse when he needed to.  Loved seeing how happy he was.

Evan
Bill pulled two big evergreen shrubs out right past the eaves trough.  It looks so much better.  I planted stuff where they were, but it's too small to see in the picture right now.
I packed in the morning and filled the oriole and hummingbird feeders.  Went to Melissa's at 10:30 and picked up Max and Evan.  We met Aunt Vikki at Dick's to return the chair they got him and get one in a bag like the other one we have.  They didn't have blue, so we got gray which I like better because it matches the camper and the black chairs we have.  Bill brought the chair he had bought and exchanged it for a gray one too so we would have matching chairs.  They are just so comfy.
Bill took the boys with him to exchange the chair and I left to pick up a hot and ready pizza.  I came home and Max was learning how to drive the lawn tractor.  He was doing great.  He came in to eat with us and then went back out and mowed the grass.  So nice to have grandsons who love to help us.
Evan was cute and was showing me how he runs and jumps off the deck and then goes into a summersault.  I videoed him but can't put videos on here.  Melissa had an appointment at Covenant.  Bruce got the boys after he dropped her off.  I did more packing and got some groceries for our trip.

One of the springs on the trampoline broke, so Vikki put the trampoline online for free.  A couple came and got it right away and all the family helped them disassemble it. Bill talked to the couple and they are going to come to Faith Riders and said they would be coming to our church next Sunday.  Praise God!  Vikki said a prayer when she put it on line!

I got up early to put chili in the roaster and chicken chili in a crock pot.  Washed and cut up fruit for Kabobs.  We went to church.  Bill won a $20 Dick's Gift Card for the Father's Day Drawing.  Teen Challenge was there and their testimonies and songs sure touched my heart and brought me to tears.  We prayed for people after the service ended.  Came home and made the kabobs.   Bill and I ate a bowl of chili to test it.  The kids came and we all had fun hanging out together.  The kids had fun playing and hanging out.  Bill and the guys got a big dead branch out of our big Maple tree.  Then the girls supervised and Bill hung my "Gather" sign on the fireplace. His drill and measuring tape have been sitting on the mantle for 2 months.  Glad the girls got him at the job finally.  We sat outside and he opened his cards and gift.  They got him an very nice hydraulic camping chair that rocks and is so comfortable.  Melissa and Bruce had to leave so I sent Chili home with them.  We all ate after they left and then they all helped disassemble the trampoline with the couple that came. It was a very fun day.  I am so thankful for my loving family.
