Sunday, 12/20/2020...Happy Birthday to my mom in Heaven, Went to church, Went for a ride, stopped at Melissa's

Bill was napping, so I decided it would recline and nap too.  Only rested for 10 minutes, then I decided to label some pictures
It was a beautiful sunset....it was so big and orange...I had to wait for Bill to turn so I could get a picture out the car window.  By that time it was almost down but still got some of it.
Went for a drive and went in the State ark to check out the Bay.  Lots of standing water around.

Read the Bible and prayed, then headed to church.  It was amazing worship and a great message.  Pastor told everyone to leave quickly and just say a distant Merry Christmas to each other after service because he wants to be extra careful with Covid cases increasing.  Brittany and her family sat ahead of us today.  Her kiddos are sure adorable.  Hard not to be able to hug and visit.  Worth it to stay safe and keep others safe though.  I made eggs, bacon, hash browns, and toast when we got home.  Bill took a little nap so I tried to too, but just wasn't tired.  I got lots of pictures labeled which was nice.  When he got up, he asked me if I wanted to go for a ride somewhere.  I picked the Bay City State Park for our destination.  Lots of memories from there and always nice to see the water.  The State Park is open for camping the sign said.  We had a nice time driving around.  On our way home, we talked to Melissa and told her we would bring her small mug Kimmy made her and the kids Easter candy I have for them...good thing it's chocolate which lasts for a long time.  The kids all ran out to greet us from the porch.  Melissa came out too and Bruce poked his head out the door.  The kids were so happy to see us and we were so happy to see them.  I told Max a snowman joke and got lots of laughs.  Why was the snowman rummaging through the bag of carrots? I will tell you tomorrow.  Just kidding!!!  The answer is (He was picking his nose!)  Bill wasn't hungry tonight, so I made Stacie's Sauerkraut she and DJ canned and gave us.  It was delicious.  Bill had me stick a whole hot dog in it for him to eat, even though he doesn't like Sauerkraut.
We watched the movie, Heavenly Deposit.  It was a good one too.

Saturday, 12/19/2020, Finished wrapping a few last things, did some baking, watched a movie

Our Giving Tree at Church....Donations for Life Clinic to help those choosing life for their babies!  So thankful to be a part of this!
 Bill, Wes, Joel, and Gayla

We slept in until 9:40.  Very unusual for us, but sure seemed good.  We stayed up until 1 a.m.  This morning I ate pumpkin seed granola cereal for breakfast.  Bill only wanted coffee.  Read our Bibles and prayed.  Filled both water containers for the humidifier.  I put them in this time as I wanted Bill to rest his shoulder.  The kernel burner screen said it needed a total clean when we woke up.  There weren't a whole lot of pellets left in it so we let it burn out, so then it could cool and be cleaned.  It was 9 at night when it finally burned them all up and went out.  Pretty amazing!    I had four more gifts to wrap so got that done.  Baked some snowball cookies like my Grandma Rozella use to make.  We went to Wes and Gayla's and played 3-13.    Wes was the big winner!  We took them some cookies.  Ate different kinds of yummy Christmas Cookies and had ice cream there.  Watched a movie called Christmas in Mississippi when we got home. It was really good!

Friday, 12/18/2020, Kimmy and the boys came over, Vikki and the twins came over, Nice long phone chat with Missy

Jacob's first Christmas cookie this year
Peyton, Eli and Lucy
Adam, Bill and Jacob unloaded and stacked all these pellets in 10 minutes!  Wow what a team!
Thank you for helping us so much Jacob and Adam

Isaac was sitting by us eating his goulash while Vikki was walking Lucy outside.  We said something to him and he told us he didn't like goulash.  I would have never thought that by looking at him.  Vikki had told him he should eat it and not complain when she knew we were having goulash.

This was after he took a big bite

Did our usual routine in the morning.  Kimmy and the boys came over.  Eli did a presentation for his class on the computer.  Jacob and Adam did some school stuff on their computers too.  Glad they can work on stuff here.  I made goulash and the boys all liked it. Vikki, Peyton and Isaac got here after we ate.  Lucy came too which made Eli super happy.
He really loves Lucy!  Vikki walked Lucy outside for a very long time trying to get her to go potty.  We fed Peyton and Isaac goulash while Vikki was outside.  Isaac was so cute sitting there eating it even though he doesn't like it.  He never complained.  Vikki had told him to just eat it and not complain when she found out that's what I made.  I was amazed because by looking at him, I wouldn't even know he didn't like it.  Kimmy, Jacob, Adam, Isaac, and I played a half game of 3-13.  We wanted to have time to visit with Vikki and she didn't want to play.  It was a nice family day and we sure enjoyed each other's company.  Bill picked up more wood pellets and he and Jacob and Adam unloaded and stacked them.  Now he is all set before having his surgery with having them ready for me to bring in.  Kimmy was very happy with the Dart Board that Charlie gave them.  She had just been looking at that kind.  They have sold more pottery and now their rent in the shop is covered for 3 months.  Yay!  I am very excited for them.  Kimmy and Vikki wrapped some Christmas gifts for Bill.  Then Kimmy, Eli and I carried Christmas presents down and Vikki put them very neatly around the tree.  Nice to have help doing that job.  I did my Christmas cards and have them all ready to mail tomorrow.  Bill and I watched a movie called, Paper Angels on Amazon Prime that was real good.  I talked to Melissa a long time after the movie.  She's so much fun to talk to.

Hailey before her birthday party started

Hailey had her own pail of dirt with gummy worms to eat.  Her candles were on it.  It was so cute!

Hailey reading her card from Jack...he told her she was his favorite....it was such a sweet card
 Hailey loved everything she opened

Hailey saw the present was shaped like a ukulele so got excited and just grabbed it out to open

I reminded her we always open the cards first....she put the present back and got the card lol.  We had so many laughs over this
She put the ukulele back and got the card out to read first.  We were all laughing.  She really wanted a ukulele for her birthday.
Hailey laughing because we told her that was Kenzie's violin case and I just used it as a box

Hailey loved her ukulele and was so happy that it really was what she thought

It was a fun day! I called Hailey and sang Happy Birthday to her.  Love that girl so much! We ate breakfast, then I rang the school bell and we started spelling.  For some reason, they hate that school bell.  They did great on their spelling.  Isaac got them all right and Peyton only missed one.  We started reading and had fun doing that.  Then it was time to pack up and take them home.  Kenzie is coming today, so to save time, I just dropped them off since I wanted to see Kenzie too.  We had a nice visit and looked at all of the beautiful things Kenzie and Travis have made.  Kenzie gave me a beautiful ring that she made for me.  It is my favorite out of the ones she has made me. What a keepsake.  I gave them a box of cut out cookies.  When it was time to leave, Travis and I moved the boxes I had brought for them to their car.  I did the last of my wrapping.  We went to Melissa's for Hailey's Birthday party. It was a little cold out and snowing, but Bruce had a fire going in the fire pit and we all stayed pretty warm.  It was such a fun party and Hailey sure was happy.  Love having such a loving and close family.  After we left, Bill and I went and picked up Coco Loco's.  He always thinks of that when we leave Hailey.  She got us hooked on eating there.  When we finished eating we watched a movie called Lucy S....can't remember the last name.  She was the best and cutest little actress.  It was a sad, but happy movie.

Wed., 12/16/2020, Did a little shopping, went to Kimmy's, Peyton and Isaac came, Watched Homeless for the Holiday's

Adam, me, Eli and Jacob...these boys are making me start to feel short

Eli, Adam and Jacob

After our morning routine, I went to Midland to shop for a few things.  I had texted Kimmy and tried to call to see if she wanted me to pick up the fruit I ordered for the boys fundraiser.  I didn't hear back, so I finished my shopping and was going to head home.  Then I decided to run to Kroger and get the gift cards I needed to finish my shopping.  When I was leaving there, Kimmy called and asked me if I was still in Midland.  I wouldn't have been if I wouldn't have decided to get the cards.  She asked me to come over, so I headed that way.  I stopped to pick up shakes for the boys.  I was so happy to see them and it was so nice to visit at their house.  I was happy to see Wyatt too and he sure was excited to see me.  When I got home, I made dinner.  Vikki dropped Peyton and Isaac off.  We played 3-13 and then watched a movie...Homeless for the Holidays.  They loved it.  It's one of my favorites because it teaches such a valuable lesson.  I read the Bible to the kids, prayed with them and tucked them in.  Sure love those kiddos!
