Hailey and Peyton got my phone and took this silly video.  They said it was for my blog so I posted it and they will sure have a fun memory some day.

We went to prayer, then church. The church was packed!   It was an amazing worship with awesome praise unto the Lord.  The message was great and Jesus was lifted up during the whole service and His presence was sure felt.

We got home, changed.  Vikki, Rody and the twins got to our house right away, I cooked noodles, cooked the potatoes, warmed the corn, and Vikki warmed the squash. Kimmy, Jared and the boys got here just when the potatoes were done, so Kimmy and Jared mashed the potatoes for me.  They are so good at it.  I had planned on having it done before they got here, but they pulled in just as I checked the potatoes and saw they were done.  What a blessing that was.  Stacie, DJ and Kody got here next, then Chuck and Sue.  We ate ham, chicken, chicken noodle casserole, cheesy potatoes, mashed potatoes, corn, squash, rolls, and yummy jello with strawberries that Vikki made. I went upstairs with Jared and Rody to get the Easter baskets.  When I came down, Vikki, Kimmy and Stacie had all of the food put away and the dishes loaded in the dishwasher.  What a huge blessing they were.  Jared, Rody and DJ hid the six Easter baskets, plus Hailey's money envelope and chocolate cross.  The kids all found them pretty fast, except poor Jacob.  He looked for a long time and didn't want any clues.  We sure wanted to give him some clues.  Especially Sue.  After they went through their baskets, we had our dessert. We had Kimmy's delicious apple pie with ice cream, banana cream pie, chocolate pie, and yummy poke jello cupcakes Stacie made.

Rody and Jared hid the three baskets of eggs.  What a big job for them.  They are used to Bruce being here to help them.  Stacie an DJ had to go to his parents, so he wasn't here to help either.  The kids all had so much fun running and collecting the eggs.  It was so fun to watch them.  It was kind of cold out, but not real bad.  Charlie and Sue stayed in the house because they didn't want to get cold.  We started the fire pit up on the deck which kept us warm and Bill started a fire in the fire pit out in the yard.  Charlie and Sue came out to say goodbye and Vikki got some nice pictures of them.  Max and Bruce left then too.

Kimmy, Jared, Adam and Bill played euchre.  Adam is so happy to know how to play and so is Kimmy.  Bruce came back and he and Melissa had some cheesy potatoes.  Bruce took Kimmy's place playing euchre.  The kids all had fun hanging out and the younger ones had fun playing.  Melissa and I were putting all of the eggs together and dumping them into pails, and then we would dump them into the big container to store them in the attic til next year.  Eli came looking for his bucket of eggs, because he never opened his.  We couldn't find it anywhere.  Then Melissa and I decided to see if his filled eggs were in the container with the empty eggs.  We went through that big container and found enough eggs to fill Eli's bucket.  We had accidentally grabbed his bucket when we were dumping the other buckets.  We got a good laugh out of that one and Melissa and I sure bonded while we looked through those eggs.  What a blessing she was to help me do all of those, plus got through them again to find Eli's eggs.

It was such a wonderful day remembering the resurrection of Jesus and having great family/friend time.

Sat., 4/16/22, Kit Kat caught her first outside mouse. Evan and Isaac came to pick up sticks for us, I made pies, made rolls, and got things ready for tomorrow Celebration of Jesus rising from the dead!

Pies made...cool whip goes on tomorrow

Kit Kat caught her first outside mouse.  She hauled it and put it by her food dish.  Good kitty kitty!

I put worship music on and started bread dough right away when I got up.  Made pie crust, then pudding for pies.  Made a banana cream pie and a chocolate banana pie.  Also baked rolls.  Bill went for coffee with Charlie and brought me back a yummy muffin from Panera Bread.  I made up cheesy potatoes to bake in the morning before church.  Busy day getting ready for tomorrow's Resurrection celebration.  Kit Kat came in a few times.  It was windy again today, but no wind warning at least.  Melissa and I have been praying for each other and out toothaches were so much better today.  So thankful!  Bill and I read our Bibles and devotions.  He went and picked Evan and Isaac up so they could come pick up sticks in the yard.  Lots of sticks blew down with all this wind we've been having.  They did a great job and Papa gave them some money.  It was cold out there and windy while they were working, so when they came in I made hot chocolate for them and put marshmallows in it.  I offered them pizza or goulash, but Evan said what else do you have.  He spotted the homemade rolls and that is what he really wanted.  I gave them both one and Evan wanted a second roll so I gave him another.  Papa had one too.  Evan loved the rolls so much and told his mom about the rolls and hot chocolate when he got home.  The boys were so good and had fun together.  Papa took them home and I worked on unloading the dishwasher.  I had washed lots of dishes too, because it was already full of dishes.  I fed the birds, and cleaned off the cushion chairs that we moved outside from the garage.  Bill moved the snowblower to the little shed and cleaned the garage.  Bill and I watched a movie.  I peeled potatoes for tomorrow.  Talked to Melissa, Vikki and Kenzie.  Texted with Adam and Jack.

Ate breakfast, drank our morning coffee and read our Bibles.  Bill met Jim C. to help him do the training to earn his CMA colors.  I boiled eggs and got things ready to fill eggs when the kids come later.  Our neighbor across the street came over for a little while.  She thanked us for the Easter Basket.  We had a nice talk about the Lord with her.  She said she is a believer.   I got her phone number so we can get together some time.

Bill and I went to our Good Friday Prayer Walk at church at 1.   It was so moving and we were to end up answering the question, Who do we say Jesus is!  I agree with Peter, He is the Christ, the Son of the Living God!   My heart was overwhelmed as we thought of all He is and all He has done.  I am so thankful.

When I got home, I got things ready and colors mixed to color eggs.  Hailey got here first and started coloring some eggs, then Peyton and Isaac got here to help her.  They did a great job.

Vikki and Isaac left, and Peyton, Hailey and I filled eggs for our Easter egg hunt.  They are such a great help.  It went really fast.  We picked up pizzas, went to get some more plastic eggs, and then came home to eat and hang out.  We watched a Little House on the Prairie.  Hailey left, and then I took Peyton home.  I had some ham, scalloped potatoes and broccoli at Vikki's.  She is a great cook.  It was delicious.  Isaac was playing the drums, then the piano and sounds great. So enjoyable to listen to him.   I visited for a while, then came home.  I talked to Melissa for a while.  We both have toothaches, so we are praying for each other.  Mine was better this morning, then started hurting again.  I talked to Evan for a while.
Texted with Jack and Adam today.

Thurs., 4/14/22, Bill got injections in his neck, Went to Coco Loco, Very windy day in the 50's

Originally I had 8 hyacinths from my mom's, now they have multiplied to 14
It won't be long and they will be opening, can't wait

I posted this one just because Bill looks so cute

I could hear the wind howling all night.  I got up once, and went out on the front porch to stack the rocking chairs so they wouldn't blow away.  At least it had stopped raining for me to do that.  It took me a while to get back to sleep.  I was thinking about Kit Kat outside in that.  I didn't see her in her house when I peeked out.

We had our breakfast and coffee inside.  I read my Bible, did some laundry, and played inside with Kit Kat for a while.  I put amazing worship music on after I put Kit Kat back outside.  At 2 we left to go to Bill's appointment at the pain clinic.  I prayed over him before we went.  I dropped him off and went to Meijer for a couple of things.  It was so busy because of Easter, I was happy to get my few things and check out through the self check out and get out of there.  I was glad I could just carry my bag as it was so windy, people were losing things from their carts because they were blowing away.  People were helping chase things down.  I had to get to Hobby Lobby and return some things, then get back to pick Bill up.  I picked him up and we decided to go to Coco Loco.  Of course we called Hailey and she was happy to meet us there.  Vikki sent pictures while we were there of telephone poles falling over.  They were at the Farmers Market.  Then they were coming home and one fell in front of them on Weiss. The wires were blowing all over all around them, but they didn’t get hit by any. Vikki was so scared!  I would have been too.  I was happy to get home and have Hailey get home.

I brought Kit Kat in to play again when I got home.  She has fun inside, but she sure does well outside and has adjust quickly.

Wed., 4/13/22, Went to Meijer, Jacks and the bank, 70 degrees out today. One quick rainy spell, then muggy afterward, Easter baskets filled and ready

Breakfast outside this morning. Kit Kat came to join me.

Filled the Easter baskets for Sunday....5 are wanting money instead of an Easter Basket this year.  I always give them a choice when they get older.  They are in the closet until Sunday.
Beautiful sunny warm morning and the grass is getting really green

Well I kept checking last night until I went to bed at midnight, and Kit Kat didn't get in her bed on the deck.  This morning when I got up, I checked again and she still wasn't in there.
I didn't see her toy anywhere either.  It was in the 60's in the morning already, so I ate breakfast out on the deck, then read my Bible and did prayer time out there.

Bill went to meet a couple who want to become CMA members.  He did the training with them.  The guys mom did the training too and became a member.  Such a blessing.  They were in an awful motorcycle group before, became believers in Jesus and born again, started coming to our church, and now want to ride with Christians and witness.

I went to Meijer, Jack's and then got $5 and $10's from the bank for Easter plus $20 in quarters for the Easter Egg hunt.  Hopefully the two windy days we are going to have will dry our back yard up.  Right now part is under water, but the whole yard is not soggy like it was before.  There will be plenty of places for the guys to hide those eggs.

I didn't see Kit Kat's toy anywhere this morning.  She didn't go in her house even when I tried to put her in.  Then when I was reading outside, she was up on the swing with me and decided to go get in her house and snuggle in her bed.  Then I noticed her toy right in front of her house again.  She stayed in there at least 3 1/2 hours.

Bill met with Alec to mentor him, and I filled 7 Easter baskets while he was gone.  Talked on the phone with Melissa while I filled them.  Trying to get things done ahead of time.  Hailey, Peyton and I still have to fill all of the eggs for egg hunt.  They are always great helpers.

Walked around the yard and enjoyed looking at plants coming back to life.  Too muddy to do the edging and weeding I want to do.  Stopped over to my neighbors and took an Easter surprise and and invite to church.

Heard from Merijo that she has felt better the last two days and her medicine is working.  She can finally eat and drink.  I am so happy for her and very thankful to God.
Roy had his surgery to remove a Gall Bladder stone.  I am waiting to hear how it went.  Lots of us praying for him today.

I talked with Vikki.  She found out a lady from our church is Kenzie's cousin by marriage.  They talked for a long time.  It's a small world.  Vikki, Kenzie and Kimmy had been to her mom's house for Christmas and Jennifer was there, but they really didn't know each other.

I texted with Adam and Kimmy.
