Hailey and Peyton got my phone and took this silly video.  They said it was for my blog so I posted it and they will sure have a fun memory some day.

We went to prayer, then church. The church was packed!   It was an amazing worship with awesome praise unto the Lord.  The message was great and Jesus was lifted up during the whole service and His presence was sure felt.

We got home, changed.  Vikki, Rody and the twins got to our house right away, I cooked noodles, cooked the potatoes, warmed the corn, and Vikki warmed the squash. Kimmy, Jared and the boys got here just when the potatoes were done, so Kimmy and Jared mashed the potatoes for me.  They are so good at it.  I had planned on having it done before they got here, but they pulled in just as I checked the potatoes and saw they were done.  What a blessing that was.  Stacie, DJ and Kody got here next, then Chuck and Sue.  We ate ham, chicken, chicken noodle casserole, cheesy potatoes, mashed potatoes, corn, squash, rolls, and yummy jello with strawberries that Vikki made. I went upstairs with Jared and Rody to get the Easter baskets.  When I came down, Vikki, Kimmy and Stacie had all of the food put away and the dishes loaded in the dishwasher.  What a huge blessing they were.  Jared, Rody and DJ hid the six Easter baskets, plus Hailey's money envelope and chocolate cross.  The kids all found them pretty fast, except poor Jacob.  He looked for a long time and didn't want any clues.  We sure wanted to give him some clues.  Especially Sue.  After they went through their baskets, we had our dessert. We had Kimmy's delicious apple pie with ice cream, banana cream pie, chocolate pie, and yummy poke jello cupcakes Stacie made.

Rody and Jared hid the three baskets of eggs.  What a big job for them.  They are used to Bruce being here to help them.  Stacie an DJ had to go to his parents, so he wasn't here to help either.  The kids all had so much fun running and collecting the eggs.  It was so fun to watch them.  It was kind of cold out, but not real bad.  Charlie and Sue stayed in the house because they didn't want to get cold.  We started the fire pit up on the deck which kept us warm and Bill started a fire in the fire pit out in the yard.  Charlie and Sue came out to say goodbye and Vikki got some nice pictures of them.  Max and Bruce left then too.

Kimmy, Jared, Adam and Bill played euchre.  Adam is so happy to know how to play and so is Kimmy.  Bruce came back and he and Melissa had some cheesy potatoes.  Bruce took Kimmy's place playing euchre.  The kids all had fun hanging out and the younger ones had fun playing.  Melissa and I were putting all of the eggs together and dumping them into pails, and then we would dump them into the big container to store them in the attic til next year.  Eli came looking for his bucket of eggs, because he never opened his.  We couldn't find it anywhere.  Then Melissa and I decided to see if his filled eggs were in the container with the empty eggs.  We went through that big container and found enough eggs to fill Eli's bucket.  We had accidentally grabbed his bucket when we were dumping the other buckets.  We got a good laugh out of that one and Melissa and I sure bonded while we looked through those eggs.  What a blessing she was to help me do all of those, plus got through them again to find Eli's eggs.

It was such a wonderful day remembering the resurrection of Jesus and having great family/friend time.
