Rehvyn with his new toy at Vikki’s.  I love his little hands!

We got up and got ready because some workers from the township were coming to put a new water meter in our basement.  Ours is old so they wanted to replace it instead of just doing an update.  I sat out on the deck and ate my oatmeal and had my coffee.  Kit Kat sat next to me.  Charlie picked Bill up and Sue called me, so I came inside when it was time for the workers to finish.  They did a nice job and the guy told me they added a pipe so if sewer ever comes through our neighborhood, the meter can go on the pipe.  Kenzie called me to see what I was doing.  We met at Home Depot and shopped for things on sale.  We got some really cute things for really cheap prices.  Rehvyn was such a good baby while we shopped.  A couple of times when we walked a couple of steps away from the stroller, he started crying.  He was fine as soon as we came back where he could see our faces.  He was starting to act hungry, but while we were in the check out, he fell asleep.  We decided to to to TJ Max while we waited for Vikki to get out of work.  Rehvyn slept all the while we shopped. We had such a fun time shopping together.  We checked out, left to meet Vikki at Sombrero’s for Taco Tuesday.  Kenzie fed Rehvyn his bottle, then we all ate taco’s.  Kenzie had 4 (the girl accidentally gave her an extra one, Vikki had 3 and I had two.  Kenzie and I got soft shells to put over our hard shelled taco.  Yum.  The whole bill came to $7.46.  Pretty cheap meal for sure!  We sure had fun together!  Bill called and he and Max were going to Culver’s.  They were going to invite me, but found out where I was.  Bill checked to see if Max wanted to come eat with us, but he only likes Taco Bell tacos he said.  I talked to Max and told him how proud I was of him graduating and getting such great grades.

Kenzie and Vikki went to Vikki’s and I left for home.  Bill and Max were already at our house.  They did some target practice.  I dug up some milk weed that was where I didn’t want it growing.  It spread from last year and was in my flowers around the brick pillars in the front by the road.  Bill asked me if I wanted to take Max home.  I did.  We had a nice visit on the way to his house and I got to congratulate him on his graduation in person.  I forget to get any pictures.  Jack was watering plants and came to see me.  I took a picture so I would have one for my blog.  I got almost home and it started down pouring rain.  I called Kimmy and Eli answered.  I had him tell Kimmy it was pouring here, so he could tell her to bring her cushions in if it hadn’t started raining there yet.  She was trying to get them dried out from yesterday’s rain.  She will be so happy when the gazebo that was delivered (I think) today gets up and protects the cushions from rain.  I saw my bluebird today.  Only saw one, but was gone lots and it rained lots.

I put some tuna fish in the live trap because I really want to catch the pest of a raccoon tonight.  I even put the bait in out in the rain.  That’s how serious I am about catching it.  Then I left to go to intercessory prayer at church.  It was an awesome time of worship, prayer and praise.  It was still raining out when I left for home.  I talked to Melissa for a while, FaceTimed Vikki, Kenzie, Peyton and Isaac, then read my Bible.  Worked on my blog after that.

Hailey sure loved spending time with Rehvyn
Aunt Kimmy Holding him

Adam and Hope
Peyton, Rehvyn and Hailey
My turn!!! Sure do love all these grandkids here today and this sweet new addition

Kimmy and Vikki helped me out and sent me pictures they took.  Yay

It was raining steady when I got up.  I did all the inside stuff I had to get done to leave.  Bill got up and then we did the last minute stuff.  Good thing we did the outside stuff before it rained, because it’s no fun in the rain.  Wes and Gayla said goodbye and left, then I told Barb and Ron good bye and we left shortly after.  Bill had to dump so told me to go on ahead because I had to stop at the store for some things for the party.  Wes and Gayla were ahead of me the whole way, til we got to Bay City where we both turned in opposite directions.  They went to pick up Joel, and I headed home.  We sure got caught in some heavy rain while driving.

I stopped at Sam’s and got gas, then went to Meijer and got what I needed.  I got home and the raccoon didn’t find the food and water where I set it on the front porch.  Yay. Bill and I unloaded the stuff from the camper and put it all away.

Eli was in the Sanford Parade today, so we ate later than planned so they could be here to eat with us.  Bruce and Max got here early so they could target practice with the bow and arrows for a while before everyone got here.  Max was laughing and told me he shot the bow like I did and got a bull’s eye.  Max graduated on the 24th.  We are so very proud of him and love him so much.  Bill went out to practice shooting with them.  The rest of the kids and grandkids and Hope all got here pretty close to the same time.  I was so surprised when Vikki got here and Hailey walked in too holding Rehvyn.  I didn’t know Rehvyn was coming, and Hailey had said she couldn’t make it.  Then I asked Hailey if Jacob was coming and she said he was going to Grand Rapids.  He had told me he couldn’t. make it too.  I walked into the dining room and looked and wondered what grandson looked so much like Jacob from the side.  It was Jacob!  Great surprise #3.  Such a blessing to have all of these grandkids and even great grandkid come.  Stacie, DJ and Kody were camping up north, so they weren’t here.  Hailey and Bruce made Taco Salad, and Bruce made a delicious cut up veggie salad, I picked up some red skin potatoe salad that everyone thought was homemade but Vikki and made some baked beans.  I made brownies for dessert and also had drumsticks. Vikki brought the onion I asked her to bring and cut it up for the burgers and hotdogs.  Bill cooked the burgers and hot dogs on the grill.  He put it under the pergola because it was still sprinkling.  The burgers were delicious.  I was too full to try a hot dog, but they sure looked good.

Kimmy, Jared, Melissa, Hope, Adam and I played the penny game.  Jared was pretty funny.  He would start getting down in pennies a little and then would have to take a lot of pennies out of the penny holder back.  Hope won, Adam won next, I won next, Melissa won next, Kimmy won next and Jared was the loser.  Melissa threw so many sixes.  This was the first time we kept playing to see who the next winners would be.

I didn’t get any pictures of Evan, Eli, Jack or Isaac.  They were in the basement playing lots or outside, so I just didn’t get the opportunity.  I should have made a point of getting their pictures.  Next time, I hope.

We had a great day, enjoying one another’s company, enjoying Rehvyn, and just being together.  We took turns holding Rehvyn and feeding him.  Jacob and Adam helped Bill get the air conditioner in so we were happy about that.  Rody got the TV going in the camper and we were happy about that.  There was a switch we needed to turn on.

I saw my blue birds today so I was happy they are safe and happy in their little bird house.

5/26/25, Sunday, Happy 19th Birthday Jacob! We love you so much!!! Went to prayer than our church, came back for dinner in the dining hall at BayShore, Just relaxed and hung out together all day, ate desserts together, packed outside stuff up before it rained, went to church service here

Our silly pictures we needed to take for our BayShore passport
Gayla took this one!??Mary had a little lamb and a handsome husband
Wes and Ron Sleeping on the ends, wives laughing in the middle.  Even Susie the dog was sleeping!
Gayla caught Bill and I on our phones!!

We left for home at 7:30 in the morning so we could go to our church.  I got ready in the camper and Bill got ready at home.  When I looked out on the deck, a raccoon had tipped Kit Kat’s self feed water dispenser and food dispenser over and both were empty.  I cleaned them and put some food in for Kit Kat and put it on the front porch so I can keep my eye on motion there.
I checked the bird feeders and my old jelly feeder was on the ground and also a feeder that the raccoon took down and emptied.  I hung one wit wire and will get more wire for the other when I get home.  Nothing seems to bother ones hung on wire.
We went to prayer, then into the service.  Great worship and a great message from pastor.  After church we prayed for people, then visited some and the headed back to BayShore.  We met Wes, Gayla, Barb, and Ron at the dining hall.  The had amazing food today!  Tender roast beef, potatoes, chicken parmigiana, sour kraut and polish sausage, a salad bar with  many choices of what to put on it, and desserts that were yummy!  We were so full!  We walked around and went and talked to Liz at the pool.
Then we just hung out together and relaxed.  We all brought desserts out to share as we were too full to eat another meal.  Gayla, brought out carrot cake, Barb brought out cookies and water melon, and I brought out rhubarb pie and drumsticks.  We saw it was slipped to rain, so we pot our outside chairs away we weren’t using and put the carpet mat away.  Then we walked to the tabernacle for the evening church service.  We got back and all went to our campers, then we got a good rain.  Bill and I played 3-13! At the end if the King round we were tied -17 to -17.  Bill ended up going out on the A round, and i got 2 points.  He won -27 to my -15.  It sure was a tense last hand.  We watched th National Memorial concert while we played and after we finished

Wed., 6/26/24, I went home, then to my Dr. appt. In Brighton, to Cracker Barrel, then to Dunham’s

Peyton and Isaac comfy in their beds

Cute shirts Jack, Melissa, Evan and Bruce wire to the Dog Bowl in Frankenmuth.  They got lots of compliments on them!

We got ready and walked to the dining hall for breakfast.  Wes and Gayla went with us.  Jeff and Cindy, the directors sat with us for a while.  Barb and Ron came a half hour after us and sat with us too.  Breakfast was delicious!  We came back and sat outside.  It was cloudy, but didn’t rain anymore.  I walked to the bathroom and when I came back Hailey was here. I was so happy to see her.  She got here at 10 and we went to the tabernacle at 10:30 for the church service.  Good worship and good message by pastor Don.

After church Hailey saw Dustin and some other friends so she stayed and hung out with them.  When Hailey got back to the camper, we ate cabbage buns for lunch and had brownies.  Then we visited with everyone outside again.  Hailey and I went on a 1.75 mile walk at top speed around the trails and out to the dock, Roberta’s Walk and then on the new trails.  The woods were filled with beautiful flowers.  We had so much fun and sure got our steps in.  She and Melissa walk 2 miles a day except Fridays.  I’m going to start walking now and then with them.  When we got back we relaxed for a while, then had drumsticks, and then played the Penny Game.  Wes made one.  Wes won, then I won.  Hailey had to leave to get home and do homework for her online class.  She sure made our day a fun one.  We all gave her hugs and then she left.  Wes, Gayla, Bill and I played a game of 3:13.  Lots more visiting afterwords when Barb and Ron came back out.  Then we ate, and then went back for the evening church service. Went to the campfire for s’mores and fellowship.  Nice meeting new people.  We came back and Wes and Bill sat outside for a while longer, then Bill came in and we played 3-13!  I stuck him with 70 points once, then went out the last hand with a Pat hand winning hand, and won.  We had fun!
