Vikki warmed our pizza on the grill. But was delicious and Krispy
Got to Tawas and our usual parking lot was closed to the public because of construction. Found a shaded spot in town not too far away. Went through some stores before going to the beach. When we got to the Ben Franklin Store, Vikki found out they were pet friendly. Most stores after that were too. Had fun going through shops and Vikki had fun showing Lenny off. Everyone loved him. We decided to eat after that. We talked about eating in the car. Then I asked at G's pizzeria and the let pets in the outside section. We were very happy about that. Had a very nice waitress and she even brought Lenny water. The pizza was delicious of course. Better than any other G's even. We went to the Tawas beach after that. It wasn't pet friendly so we put Lenny by a tree in the grass and we put our towels on the grass. Got wet and the kids played in the sand. We wet our shirts so we would be cool on the dock. The water by the edge of the beach was yucky so we decided to find a pet friendly beach. Ended up on Oscoda and it was a beautiful place with lots for the kids. It was pretty cool because the sun went under clouds. We had on our wet shirts too. Burr. The kids had lots of fun and so did we. When our girls were young we stopped at a grocery store and bought stuff for sandwiches and had a picnic there with Grandma and grandpa. Brought back memories. It sure is lots nicer now. Went back to campground and went by Greg and the kids at the playground. He asked where we were all day so we told him. He, Nikki and their kids came over to our campfire and we talked and had smores. Lots of fun! Greg took all the kids for a ride in his golf cart while Nikki stayed with us and visited. She was really nice and we were glad she came. They left at around 10:30 and then Vikki and I played cards and dice.
