-13 degrees this morning without the windchill.  Went to Melissa's at 9.  No school for the kids again.  It was nice getting to see them.  They were pretty happy that there was no school again.  Max and I took Melissa to therapy and then he came home with me.  We stopped for gas and it was the coldest that I've ever been while pumping gas.  Burrrrr!  We got to my house and Max wanted to watch a show.  I went out and fed the birds because they were running out of bird seed.  Burrr again.  I love having these big feeders though, because I only have to fill them once a week.  Melissa had the lokomat for 90 minutes today.  We picked her up and I dropped her and Max off.  I took pictures of all the kids, but somehow the one of Jack that I took has disappeared.  Can't quite figure it out since I haven't deleted any pictures today.  When I was almost home, I saw two eagles flying in the field next to our house.  Bill was at Vikki's working more on her electric.  He came home and cleaned the big drift up with the snowblower.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac got here shortly after.  She parked her car in the garage and we went to Kimmy's.  We had such a fun day with Kimmy and the boys!  We played a game of 3-13.  Kimmy was the winner.  We visited and watched Dr. Pol. Adam made us lots of popcorn.  Kimmy, Adam, Peyton, Isaac and I went out and saw the lamb and all the sheep.  I got cold and went in the house.   We played another game of 3-13.  Jared got home and we talked about Stark Rd. being icy.  I wanted to leave before it was dark, so we just finished the hand we were on and left.  That made me the winner ha ha!  That's probably the only way I can win at Kimmy's. We got home before it was dark and got to see two eagles by Jared's old workplace.  Ate stew and then watched a Hallmark movie, read my Bible and went to bed. 

1/30/19...Very Cold Day, 2 degrees but -25 to -35 with windchill. Watched Kody, Went to McDonalds, Isaac came to play with Kody, Vikki and Peyton came over.

It was very very cold today!  DJ dropped Kody off at our house at 7:45 a.m.  He has been begging to come to Nana and Papa's.  He was happy to see me and wanted me to play with him right away.  I brought the legos up from the basement and I made a car and he made a house.  I thought about Kenzie and how she always wanted me to play with her.  It's an only child thing.  

We played Cootie.  He didn't want to play at first, but once he saw what Cootie was, he was excited to play.  Lucky was a big hit!  He thought it was so much fun telling him what tricks to do.  We had lots of laughs.  Bill went to the SportsZone, then to breakfast with Charlie, then to Vikki's to work on her electrical problem.  Vikki, Peyton, Isaac and Bill met us at McDonald's after he was done.  The kids had fun playing.  We didn't stay too long because it was so cold in there.  Vikki showed me Misty's mom's new house and Bill took Isaac and Kody back to our house.  Vikki had to take Peyton to the dentist.  I went home and was happy to get inside where it was warm and toasty.  So sad that our Pastor's son and his wife had a miscarriage today.  Really praying for them.  Vikki and Peyton came over after the dentist.  We had fun hanging out and Vikki looked at the pictures from our trip.  Wes and Gayla gave me the pictures they took too.  After Vikki and the kids left, I played Sorry with Kody.  He played really good and almost beat me.  Both games were very close.  Stacie came to pick him up. We had her open her birthday present up while she was here.

Bill and I went in the truck to breakfast. The roads were a little slick.  We got two more inches of snow overnight.  Wes, Gayla, Dennis, Rich, Loraine, Don, Bill and I were the only ones who made it to breakfast.  We had a nice time.  Afterward, Bill and I went to Melissa's.   We gave the boys the money pouches from Puerto Rico and change in them from Dominican Republic.  The boys were excited and loved them.  I went upstairs and woke Hailey up.  I sang the song, Good Morning, Good Morning, Good Morning to her.  I gave her a hug and went downstairs.  It wasn't long before she came down to join us.  We got our hugs and left.  Came home and Bill took the garbage out and did the driveway.  I wrapped Stacie's Birthday gift and spent my time with the Lord.  Vikki and the kids came over! I was so happy when she called to say they were coming.  While she was on her way, the wind picked up.  I got a little worried about a white out.  I called her and she said it was bad where she was too.  She made it ok.  The wind died down when they got here.  We ate pizza for lunchPeyton and Isaac went outside to play on their sleds.  They had fun and stayed out longer than we thought they would.  They came in and wanted hot chocolate, but I was all out.  Bummer!  They started watching the lego movie, but weren't really interested in it. Vikki had them get ready to go because she wanted to take them to Hoyt Park to the sledding hill.  When she took stuff to the car, she realized it had gotten colder and was too cold to go to the park.  Her trunk wouldn't close, so Bill went out to help her.  Never did get it fixed, but Rody was able to fix it when she got home.  

I made stew and we ate and then watched the news.  Watched Jeopardy, Wheel of Fortune and then a Hallmark Movie that was pretty funny.  No school for the kids tomorrow.  It is supposed to be -25 to -35 with the windchill.  I am going to watch Kody for Stacie tomorrow.

1/28/19...Snow Day for all the grandkids today! Bill went to the SportsZone...I hibernated

Bill went to the SportsZone early to play Euchre.  It wasn't snowing yet.  I looked at the forecast and it was supposed to start snowing and blowing before I could get home, so I didn't go.  I didn't want to take any chances.  It was nice to sleep in and lounge around.  I read a book and started another one.  Bill had a dentist appt. at 9 and then he stopped at Vikki's to work on her electrical problem.  She discovered she had lights in both bathroom where she thought it was only a vent. I talked to all of the girls and was happy to hear Jared had work off and so did Rody.  I prayed for Bruce's safe trip home and was happy when Melissa told me he was home safe.  We ate spaghetti for dinner and then Bill went out to plow the driveway. It had quit snowing and the wind had calmed down.  When he got in we watched a Hallmark Movie and ate cashews.  

1/27/19..Went to Church, Taught Sunday School, Went to Bob Evans with Rich and Pat,

Got to church and organized my classroom for Sunday School.  When I walked to the sanctuary, I went up to a person who was by a couple of kids in my class and was going to say hi and introduce myself.  I was amazed when I saw that it was Matt, a 30 year old guy that was at the Rescue Mission when we showed the Movie God's Not Dead 2 last Thursday night.  He had stayed after the movie and wanted prayer.  He had been to BayShore when he was a kid for a couple of sport camps, knew some of the same people Wes and Gayla and Luis and Eva knew.  Sure seemed to be lots of connections.  Since we prayed, God has put him on my heart a lot to keep praying for him.  It sure was a gift from God having him at our church.  We hadn't even mentioned our church.  His cousin, whose two kids are in my class, invited him and picked him up.  What a great blessing.  He stood up for prayer during church.  Bill was able to go pray with him.  Usually have 10 kids for Sunday School, but we had 13 today.  It was a great lesson and went well. Kelly was my helper and did great. Peter who is 10 and used to be in my class, came to my classroom to find me.  He talked to me a long time and told me he was sorry I had been sick and that he always prays for me.  He comes with his grandpa and grandma now because his mom says she doesn't believe in Jesus now.  I was so sad for him, but happy I can pray for him and encourage him.  His mom used to come to church all the time. I'm glad his grandma and grandpa love Jesus and teach him about him and bring him to church.
We went to Bob Evan's after church with Pat and Rich and then to their house to see their remodeled kitchen.  It looks beautiful.  We stopped at Jack's and got stew meat because I want to make stew.  Also got Thistle seed for my birds too.  We came home and I did my Bible reading had prayer time.  Bill worked on organizing his tool cabinet for a while and then we watched movies.

1/2619....Had message from Melissa in the morning that Bruce had to take Jack to ER, Went to Vikki's, Went to Jack's game, Went to Rustic Inn with Faith Riders, Went too Wes and Gayla

We had a great turn out at the Rustic Inn...Loraine, Mike, Dan, Renee, Diane, Don, Lupe, Matt, me, Bill, Greg and Don

I woke up and saw a message from Melissa that Bruce had to take Jack to the ER at 5 am.  I called her right away to tell her to call me for something like that no matter what time it is.  Jack was home and doing very well.  Melissa and Bruce were trying to decide if he should play basketball at his game or not today.  I went to Vikki's in the morning to see Kenzie and Travis.  Kenzie made me some bath bombs that smell amazing and bought me the DVD God's Not Dead 2.  That was so sweet of her.  Travis was doing art projects with the kids.  He is very talented.  I took Isaac to Jack's game.  Jack played great and didn't have any asthma problems.  Sure am thanking God for that.  Bill gave Isaac some pointers during Jack's game.  Gave Melissa a ride to Vikki's when I took Isaac Home.  Bill came over to Vikki's to see Kenzie too, and he worked on their electrical problem.  He got everything working except the 3 plugs in the living room.  She was happy that her garbage disposal and stove fan are working at least.  We came home and got ready and went to the Rustic Inn for dinner with Faith Riders.  We had a good turn out and lots of fun. Vikki cut Melissa's hair today and then went to Isaac's game and took Melissa.  Vikki let us know Isaac did great at his basketball game.  She sent a video of him making a basket from far away and throwing his hands up high after he did it.  It was so cute.   He did amazing!Afterward, we went to Wes and Gayla's.  We had peach cobbler with ice cream too.  We played Skip Bo. Joel helped Gayla and sure knows how to play it.  Gayla won both game.  We came home and watched a Hallmark movie.
