Evan and Jack
Kimmy, Vikki, Eli, Peyton and Isaac got here at around 9. We hung out inside for a while, then went out on the deck to see how Kit Kat would like the kittens. Well, she did not like them at all and was hissing and showing her teeth at them. Bad Kitty! Teddy arched her back at Kit Kat. Here I was thinking about getting Kit Kat a friend to have so they could cuddle and keep warm.
We all went to pick Adam up from school. We had enough time to stop at Big Boy and pick up 4 ice cream brownie cakes to go. We ate them in the parking lot, because the restaurant was so full and it looked like it would take a long time to get waited on and served. They sure were yummy. None of us had eaten, so I guess you could call it breakfast.
We went and picked up Jacob from Delta after that. Kimmy was reminiscing about all of her great memories there. Melissa was just telling me how much she loved going there the other day. They sure had fun together while attending Delta back in the day. They had some amazing professors.
We hung out on the deck for a while again, then decided to power wash the paddle boat Vikki found and had us pick up to sell. We girls worked on cleaning it, and the Russell grandsons moved it for us when we needed them to. It looked great when we got done. Vikki took pictures to post to sell it.
Jacob and Adam helped Bill take the window air conditioner out and put it in the garage. Thankful for their help. They sure are strong helpful boys.
Abby was doing terrible today. Melissa called me to pray and sent us a video to see how bad Abby was. The vet had said she thought Abby had a spinal injury. Well, Abby got groomed yesterday. She was excited when she got home and jumped around. She must have hurt her neck and legs, because she could hardly move today and couldn't use her front legs. We sure did pray for her. The vet had called in a prescription for her and I picked up the kind of soft food she loves and dropped it off to Melissa. Vikki sent some Covid tests so they will have them if they need to test for any reason.
Bill and I left to go to Trinity Riders meeting and the girls and kids had to leave after us.
While we were at the meeting, Melissa called me and said Abby took the medicine great and was doing better. She sent me a video a little while later and Abby could stand on her front legs, was able to go potty, and would let Melissa rub her neck. She wouldn't let her touch it before. We sure were thanking God for the medicine working so fast. I had put her on the prayer list at the meeting. Bill was asked to share his vision at the meeting. It was nice to hear it again. It was life changing for us!
