Vacation 2008

We had a great vacation this year. Grandpa was doing great so we took him along and he is always a fun camper. He always kept the outdoor carpet swept, dried the dishes and helped wherever needed. Pretty good for 91. The campground was great. We had everything we needed at our fingertips. Even had a RV repairman go through regularly. They also had propane if we needed it. What a relaxing fun time. We enjoyed watching Kenzie play and have lots of fun. Loved it when Kimmy, Jared, Jacob and Adam joined us for camping. We did lots of biking, swimming, sharing of stories around the campfire, ate lots of yummy smores and just enjoyed each others company. We had a great time out on the big dock. We had our first picnic out there. Kimmy made yummy sandwiches and we put our blanket down and made a memory. Sorry again, Jared that you didn't get a pop. Grandpa sure enjoyed putting his line in the water and hoping for a big one. At least he got a bite. What a fun family time. Kenzie, Grandpa and I stayed up everynight after our campfire time til midnight playing Tonk. Kenzie won every game. Grandpa and I couldn't beat her. Grandpa nick named her lucky. We really enjoyed having Vikki come up too. She stayed a few nights and enjoyed herself too. I was able to spend the last night with her and Kenzie, but had to come home for Aunt Bev's Funeral. Sad to lose her, but she went quick and didn't have to suffer at least. Nice seeing the cousins at the funeral and catching up on their lives.

We enjoyed our precious Jacob's birthday at the park so much. It was a beautiful day out and we were blessed to get the pavilion so stayed nice and cool. Aunt Tina, Angel, Avoree and Zoie came so that made it extra special. We all had fun watching Jacob open his gifts and blow out his candles. Kimmy did a great job on the cake. We had great food and great family time.

We were so happy Tina, Angel and the girls were here for the wedding. We got to spend much time with them and it was nice to see Kenzie get to play with her cousins. Our family is big enough now that we fill a whole table with Bill, me, the kids and grandkids. Nice visiting with each other.
