Got up early.  Elaine was cold and having back pain so she came in the camper and ate oatmeal and drank coffee with me.  Bill was on his cart helping people.  At 9 we went over and helped put shirts, mugs, youth stuff eye on the tables for people to buy.   After that, Gayla and Elaine went into town.  I decided to stay here and go for a walk.  I went two miles.  Came back and walked around with Gayla and visited friends.  Bill took us for a ride all over on the golf cart.  Even went back under the zip line.  Ate hotdogs for lunch at Wes and Gayla's table.  Our awning won't go down.  They are fixing it when we take our camper in.  A pin is sheared.  Gayla and I wee reading our books in our compfy chairs an we both fell asleep.  She woke me so I wouldn't get sunburned.  I walked down to talk to Brenda.  The first thing she did was ask about Peyton and Isaac and told me she misses those cuties.  We ate dinner in the dining hall and then went to the tabernacle for worship and the message. After that we went for ice cream to the Dairy Barn.  Came back and watched the news and then went to bed.

9/1/16...Left for BayShore....one of my favorite places

Elaine in front of the camper tent Wes and Gayla lent her.
We didn't quite fit inside the barrels in the barrel train.  Found out later the other train is bigger and we would have fit.

Bill, Gayla and Wes relaxing before all the campers come and they get busy showing them where to park

Gayla and Elaine  The flowers hanging were beautiful

Wes and Gayla and our campers are facing each other. Elaine is on the end and Brian and Jan will be in our motorcycle camper by the end of our camper tomorrow.

Bill and Wes in their staff shirts

Cute little doggie that came by

Love this place

The sunset was beautiful over the water, but the picture of it didn't turn out very good

Bill and Wes checking their list of people who will be camping.  They have their staff shirts on.  They gave us free camping and meal tickets for free meals while we are here.
I got up at 7:15 to finish packing the camper.  I had just taken my shower when I got a call from Melissa saying the 3 boys had forgot their book bags.  She had to wait for the little girl she babysits for to be dropped off at the school so she was very happy I could go pick up the book bags and bring them to her to take into the kids.  I was happy I could help.  I went with wet hair and all.  I made it in time so she could get them to them right after the pledge of allegiance.  After that I went home and there was no hot water.  Bill needed me to help him with lighting the pilot light on the hot water heater.  Consumer's put a new gas meter in and when Kenzie was there she let them light the pilots again.  We had gotten a letter saying they were going to do this.  Don't know if they forgot to light it or if it went out.  Finally got around to packing the rest of the stuff and got done on time.  Elaine came over and we left for Sebewaing.  This truck pulls the camper so much better than the other one.  Doesn't even feel like it's hauling a camper.  Very nice.  I was thanking God all the way when He kept cars from getting off and on exits by me on the expressway and for the safe trip all the way.  So happy when we stopped at Tim Horton's in Bay City which is our tradition.  It's about halfway and is a great place to take a little break.  Had a egg white sandwich with bacon and no cheese an a chocolate glazed doughnut.  YUM.  Got to BayShore and parked right across where you pull in.  We faced our camper toward Wes and Gayla's which is nice.  Love camping with them.  We have Elaine with us in their motorcycle camper and Brian an Jan will be by us in our motorcycle camper.  We ladies took a few walks while the guys helped people get parked.  Visited with friends from Trinity Riders, and played ladder ball.  Wes and Gayla had us over for blackberry pie she made for Bill's Birthday. It was delicious.  We played 3-13 with them and Elaine in their camper.  Bill won and Elaine lost.  I was the next loser.  Not my night.

8/31/16....Packed to go camping at BayShore for our State Rally....

Isaac was happy to show me what he made with his legos

Peyton was pretty excited about the unders I brought her.  They used to be Kenzie's.  She is wearing them on her shoulders and holding them in her hands

She was funny trying to put them all on so I took a picture.  Reminds me of when her Aunt Missy did that when she was little.

Did laundry and packed for camping.  Went to Melissa's and to Vikki's for a little while.  It was quiet at Melissa's with no kids there.  Sure seems different.  Peyton and Isaac were excited to see me and were really cute.  In the evening, we went to G's for our officer's meeting for Faith Riders.
We had good pizza and Bill did a really good job leading the meeting.  We went to Meijer's afterwards to get Thermos water jugs for Roger and Rayleen for the Rally.  They are not going to be our National Evangelists any longer, but are taking a new position.  They are so nice and have done a great job.  Also picked up some groceries for our camping trip.  Kenzie moved in with a friend.

8/30/16...Went to breakfast and then canned tomatoes

Kenzie, Mocha and Catniss

Tomatoes I canned today

Went to breakfast, then stopped at Melissa's for a few minutes.  Seemed funny not to have Evan there.   Came home and picked tomatoes, an onion and two kalarabi.  Got them all washed and ready to do. .  Will have more to do later, but will use those for salsa.  Watched Peyton and Isaac at 11:30 while Vikki went to the dentist.  She had a good appointment and was pretty happy.  Peyton and Isaac were cute and fun as usual. I started the tomatoes right after they left.  Got 8 quarts caned.  So happy to have them done!  Will use the rest that come for salsa.

8/29/16....Froze 25 gallon bags of sweet corn today.

This is all the corn from the garden.  Work, Work Work, but Yum, Yum, Yum!

Went to the dentist to get my teeth cleaned.  Really like Dr. Goldensoph and his staff.  They are so nice and they are believers.  Got to pray for Patty, the hygienist which was nice.  They set me up for a root canal in Oct.  Praying it works so I don't have to have my tooth pulled.  Please pray.  When I came home and went out to pick the corn, Bill already had it all picked and most of it shucked.  One cooler was full and we filled the second one together. After it was all done, I started boiling it and cutting it of the cob.  Ended up getting 25 gallon bags full.  Great year for corn.  I took a rest in the middle of doing it, and met Vikki at Meijer's to do some school shopping. We had fun!  Took midnight to finish the corn.  Kenzie did a few pieces.   Then Trever came to have a campfire.
Was glad to get done and get everything cleaned up.

8/28/16...Happy Birthday to Bill! Busy but fun day!

Bread Vikki and the kiddos made for Bill for his birthday

This is how they made it.  They saw it on Facebook and tried it.  It was delicious and Bill was so happy

We met everyone at Meijer's and then headed to Shield of Faith.  Before the service started, they had Bill and I stand up front and had someone walk a birthday cake with candles up the aisle while everyone sang Happy Birthday to Bill.  Pastor shared with everyone how we were one of three couples that started the church. They were so sweet to us.  They did an amazing worship song of Kari Jobe's I had never heard before.  The associate pastor, Mike, gave the message.  It was really good.  We rode our bikes to the Rustic Inn afterwards and Pastor and Kathy, Chuck and Jackie, Pastor Mike and his wife and another couple from the church came with us.  There were 14 of us from Faith Rider's who went.  I had a yummy turkey, ranch sandwich.  It was so good.  After we ate, we came home and I made a dump cake really quick so I could take it to the potluck.  Also took potato salad.  We ate when we got there and then sat in a circle and talked for a while, then played games.  Got to play yardzie.  Called Vikki to let her know we were coming home and she, Peyton and Isaac were there when we got there. They gave Bill a braided bread they had made for him.  Bill loves bread so was very happy.  The kids were happy when we put candles in the cake and sang to Papa.  Then we all ate some cake.

                The bride and groom
Got up early and Isaac and I took our morning walk.  Missing Kimmy and the boys this morning.  Went to their site to make sure nothing was left behind as they left in the dark.  Only found a yellow tent stake and leg cap.  We walked around the campground and when we jgot back to the camper Hailey was there.  She and I went on a bike ride and when we got to their campsite, Jack and Mac joined us.  They rode with us for a while and then stayed to ride with Evan. Hailey and I played ChristiN music while we rode. When we got back I read the last chapter of Malachi to Hailey.  Melissa and kids came and we took the screen tent down so she could see how easy it is. Vikki started packing to go home.  She is taking Mocha for us since we ha be to go to the wedding.  Thanks Vikki
Melissa walked Mocha for me.  Thanks Melissa. Brown we left to go home before the wedding.  Went to get ink and then stopped at Taco Bell.  Let Kenzie know we were home as she wanted to come get some clothes.  Happy to see her when she stopped.  She played her guitar and I love listening to her.  Went to the wedding.  Bill did a great job marrying them.  They are such a sweet couple.
Sat with Rich and Pat and another young couple we didn't know.  They were amazing and were born again!  We had a great time talking about the Lord.  We had walleye, potatoes, veggies, salad, rolls and cake.  Everything was delicious! Got back to the campground,  went to a campfire at Bruce and Melissa's.  Sure am missing Vikki and the kiddos.  I beat Bill at 3-13 and we tied at dice
