5/18/17...Happy Birthday Adam! First day at Outdoor adventures! 80 degrees and very windy!

Happy Birthday Adam!  I love how sweet and caring you are!  You are fun to be around and I sure like making cinnamon rolls with you.  Glad your Grandma Lela taught you that so I could eat some!  You are a very hard worker and I sure appreciate you always wanting to help me!
I love you very much!  I love your birthday cake!

Mocha's pretty relaxed here

Nice cabins they just built

Hot tub is empty and they are starting to clean it.  The just filled the outside pool.

Our walk

We finished packing and got to Outdoor Adventures at around 11:30 pm.
It was hot, but so windy it felt nice.  We got everything set up and then ate lunch.  We went for a walk and checked in at the camp store.  Lots of empty camping spots, but the main full hook up spots are pretty full.  They have added lots of cabins which are very nice.
We went to Northwoods, which is a huge camping/fishing/general store combined.  Found our favorite goggles for the kids for 2.99.  Picked up three pairs and will take orders for the rest. Went to a nice restaurant and each got a 14" pizza for 6.95.  Mine will last me a couple of days. It was delicious.  We walked around Shopco after that.  Came back and played 3-13.  I won, but not by much.

I had so much fun with Max today!

Excited to see lots of blossoms ready to open soon on my plant Bruce and Melissa got me on the first Mother's day we moved here.

Cooked salmon on the grill tonight.  It was delicious

Lenny fetching in the water.  He loves the water and jumps right in.  Lots of stuff floating on the water because it was so windy today

Packed the camper this morning and then went to walk at the rail trail.  Nice morning with the temperature being 74 degrees.  Only a few walkers out this morning.  Went to Menards and looked for hoops and netting to put over my strawberries.  Didn't have anything there.  I did buy 2 rose bushes for 2/$7.  I planted them right away and watered them when I got home.   I worked rubbing dirt off of sod pieces from digging around the house after that.  Got partway done but have more to go.  It was very hot and my hair was dripping wet after working out there.  Came in and finished reading my book so I could take and give it to Melissa. Talked to Melissa to see how the kids did at Hartley.  She said Max was upset because Evan wrecked his Lego Creation he had asked her watch.  Also got teased by a couple of kids at Hartley so was sad about that.  I told her to tell him I would come take him out for a donut.  When I got there I asked him if he wanted ice cream or a donut.  He picked ice cream because it was a hot day.  We went to Mooney's and it was closed because of a family emergency.  We prayed for them and then went to an ice cream place in Hemlock Vikki told me about.  Max picked cookies and cream and I had armieto cherry and bear claw.  He had a bowl and I had a cone.  We sat and talked for a long time.  He shared about his trip and all the things he liked.  He also told me about Evan, but said he actually liked it that way and was going to leave it.  I talked to him about how there are always some mean kids out there who will tease and not be nice.  Told him we need to pray for them and when it happens talk to God and think on good things.  He said yes, because if you don't let them know it bothers you they will stop.  Pretty smart boy!
I told him I loved him and he said "I do too" and God loves you too!  That made my heart so happy.
At 3, the girl came over to me and told me she had to take a pizza out and since no one was there, she wanted to just give it to us.  We were pretty happy.  I ate one piece and took the rest to Melissa and family .

I had so much fun with Eli and Jacob today.  Adam was on his field trip to Greenfield Village and Kimmy and Jared drove their van and went with him.  Adam rode the Charter Bus there.

Eli relaxing after jumping on the trampoline

Jacob building the marble tower game

Wow it didn't take long for him to follow directions and build it.   Eli played with the legos

Great niece, Ahmeh, with her new wig. Can't believe she could get all of her long hair under it.

Wes and Gayla sent me this picture of the Dells in Wisconsin they visited.  Looks so cool!

Went to breakfast, then went to Vikki's since Melissa was there.  Worked on the camper and also on digging more of the landscape so the edging can be put down.  I went and picked up Jacob and then Eli from school because Kimmy and Jared were on the field trip to Greenfield Village with Adam.  We came home and Jacob had a bowl of ice cream and Eli had a bowl with a cone on top.  Eli played with legos while Jacob worked on putting the marble racing game together.  He sure is talented with following directions and putting things together.  I went and got a Hot and Ready Pizza because that's what they picked to have to eat.  They saved two pieces so their mom and dad could each have a piece.  Kimmy called and wanted me to have them be ready to run out because they had to get to the school to get Adam and were running behind.  They got their shoes on and then they were hurrying to pick up the legos.  I told them I would get them, but they wanted to keep working on picking them up while I watched for their mom. Such great boys!  Someone has trained them right.  Good job Kimmy and Jared!  After they left, I got more stuff done!

5/15/17...Walked 3 miles, Sat outside to read my Bible, took Kenzie to Delta, dug some more around the house, Went out for a hot fudge sundae with Bill

Mocha sure likes laying on the gliders

Wes and Gayla went to Wisconsin today.  They sent me this picture of their campsite.  It was pouring when they got there, but now the weather is supposed to be great.

Went to Sportszone.  The kid I met that was pronounced dead because he got hit by a car and is a miracle has a trainer.  He was working keeping his balance while having his eyes closed.  Brought back memories of Melissa's therapy. I gave him a thumbs up and he gave me one back.  I always pray for him while I walk.  Texted Gayla to see where they were and told her to text me when they got to their destination.  She sent me the picture above.  I picked Kenzie up from Yonkers.  She was working in the children's department.  I gave her a couple of egg rolls I picked up for her and a hot tea and then we went to Delta.  She did good on her tests.  While she was their, I dug more around the back of the house.  Had warmed up hamburgers for supper with potato salad and corn from the garden.  Later on, we went for a hot fudge sundae.  YUM!

5/14/17...It was a very Happy Mother's Day with my family

Beautiful card and flowers from my sweetie Bill.  Also got me delicious chocolate covered strawberries

What a fun blessed day it was.  The girls and their families (Stacie too) came over.  Everyone was here except Kenzie. The weather was beautiful and we could even eat outside.  Bill cooked great burgers and hotdogs on the grill.  The kids loved all the legos I got at the garage sale.  They had so much fun with them and had fun looking at all the books that came with them.  I LOVE MY FAMILY!  How very blessed I am to be the mother of such wonderful daughters who love their families and are doing a great job raising their children.  I also am very blessed to have wonderful godly son in laws who are like sons to me in my heart.   So blessed too, to have all of these wonderful precious loving grandchildren.  The Lord has sure been good to me.  Very grateful for blessing me with a wonderful godly husband also.

5/13/17...We rode our motorcycle to a pancake breakfast in St. Charles

Getting ready to have the bike blessing!

Brian and Bill

Group picture
Cute picture of Ally and Hailey at the track meet.  Max did a really good jump that Bruce put on, but I can't seem to put videos on here

Praying after Chaplain Luis finished the bike blessing

We left at 7:30 a.m. to go to St. Charles for a free pancake breakfast Nativity Lutheran Church was putting on.  They had pancakes, eggs, potatoes, sausage, ham, fresh fruit, cinnamon rolls, and coffee cake.  Wes and Gayla brought Joel and is was really nice to see him.  We had the bike blessing afterward.  Luis did it because the pastor wasn't able to be their.  He wrote it out though and gave it to Luis to do and he did a good job.  There was a ride afterward, but we had to be back so Bill could go to Pat's in Freeland to help the Marine Corp. League raise money. Vikki and I went to the garage sales again to look for some deck screws Kimmy had seen them the day before and called me to check.  I told Vikki I was going and she wanted to come which was a good thing because she had seen them too so had more of an idea of where to look.  We didn't find them though.  Vikki and Lenny went on to the dog park and I came home.  Dennis and Amy were supposed to come over and drop some clothes off she wanted to give me.  I went out to the camper for a few minutes and they came while I was out there and just left them on the deck.  To bad I missed them.  The clothes are really nice.  I tried a few on but have to do the rest later.  Bill and I went to a couple of greenhouses.  He wanted to get me a water fountain for Mother's Day.  We came home and I made potato salad and brownies for tomorrow.  We watched the new Anne of Green Gables afterward.
