Melissa finding something good in the Adult Easter Basket.  She took all of the marshmallow eggs out and put them in her pockets to tease her dad.  Those are his favorites.  When he came in he started looking for one and couldn't find anything.  She laughed and pulled some out of her pockets for him.  She got him good ha ha!

Jerry, Marie and Roy stopped over.  Marie has been homebound other than dr. appts. since last June.  Roy broke his femur and was in the hospital for 43 days.  Just got home a couple of weeks ago.  I was so happy they called and wanted to come over.  This is their first social visit.  Love them and can't wait until they can come back to our small group.  So happy they are doing better.

Before bed, Jack beat me at Sorry
It was a wonderful day.  Church was amazing, family and friends came to spend the day and the weather was beautiful.  Melissa showed us how she can walk some now without a cane.  So happy!
Bill took Jared, Adam, and Jacob outside to help him put the heavy basketball back board up. The girls, Sue and I got the food ready and on the table.  Finally they were done outside and came in to pray and eat.
We remembered Jesus and what He has done for us and celebrated His Resurrection.   Jared, Rody, Bruce and Travis hid the Easter eggs for the kids to find outside.  The kids had fun and got lots of eggs.  Next they hid the baskets inside and the kids found them.  It was 70 and beautiful outside so we all enjoyed visiting outside.  Jack wanted to spend the night with us.  We played a game of Sorry and he beat me.  I took my turn after him and went out, but it was a little to late for me.  I tucked him in and prayed over him.  Then I listened to him say his prayers.  What a precious prayer he prayed!  I am one blessed Nana!  I have the best grandkids ever and kids and son in laws!!! I love my family.  It was such a fun day with many blessings from the Lord!

Got lots done today, two desserts made, cheesy potatoes ready to bake in the morning, jello made, two batches of rolls made, ice tea made, stuff for stuffing ready to go, ground chicken cooked and ground up fine.  Bill brought tables in and they are covered and ready.  He cut up the tree that fell down.  I helped him stack some of the wood and picked up some brush.  Filled the bird feeders.

Melissa by her picture on the 3rd floor at Covenant

This wall has all pictures of Melissa and her therapists on it.

Melissa's by the picture of her, Isaac, Vikki and Peyton on 4th Floor.  There was another picture of her in the other hallway, but someone was in front of it so we looked at the other pictures and then forgot to take a picture when we walked back by it.

We walked 2 miles at the SportsZone.  Colored some Easter Eggs.  Missed all my helpers, but it was down to where I had to get it done.  Got all the Easter baskets filled for the grandkids, plus one for adults and kids who don't want baskets this year.  Went to Vikki's for a while.  They were making slime and having lots of fun.  Jack and Max were there.  Isaac did so good playing the drums.  He is doing great with his lessons.  Jack did a pretty good job playing and copying Isaac.  Max just had fun on them.  Nice to see all the kiddos and get my hugs.  Melissa, Bruce and I went to Covenant Rehab to see all the pictures we've heard are up of Melissa.  We started on the 4th floor.  All of the nurses, therapy techs, and the nursing care coordinator were very happy to see Melissa doing so great and they were excited to tell us to look at the pictures of Melissa down the hallways.  There were lots of pictures of other patients Melissa knew when she was in the hospital.  They said Melissa was the star because her pictures were on every floor.  They sent us to the third floor to see more pictures.  A couple therapists and the therapy manager came over to Melissa when they saw her and told her she was a star.  They sent us down to therapy where Melissa had her very own wall of pictures.  Three on the wall!  She had therapists who weren't there when she was in come up and say how good she was doing since the pictures were taken.  Another patient told her she recognized Melissa in the pictures and said it's you.  All the therapists and nurses said Melissa was their success story and that with all the pictures and her picture on the hospital brochure she was famous.  They were all so nice.  She walked into the hospital, put to and all down the halls of the fourth floor,  all down the halls of third floor and then down to therapy and all around there.  She did great.  This was all after 3 hours of physical therapy at Level Eleven too.  She is doing amazing.  I got home and Bill and I ate chicken rice casserole that I had going in the crockpot. We went to the Good Friday Service at church at 7.  It was really a good prayerful service, focusing on Jesus  So thankful for Jesus and what He went through for me/us.  Can't wait to celebrate His resurrection on Sunday!  John 3:16 is for everyone!!!  Bill was hungry for a hot fudge sundae after we left church.  We went to Mooney's.  Pastor's daughter, Emily, who is very pregnant and her husband Derek were there getting ice cream cones.  We talked to them for a few minutes and found out she is being induced on Wednesday if the baby doesn't come naturally before that.  I got a baby cone and Bill got a double hot fudge sundae.  The baby cone was very big.  Next time it's a half baby cone for me.  We came home and watched Jeopardy.
