It was a cool first day of Fall.  After I prayed and spent time with the Lord, I did some work around the house.  I went to Jack's to pick up burger for chili and some other meat.  I picked Jack, Max, and Evan up from school.  Dropped some ice skates that were Kenzie's when she was little off at Vikki's for her to sell or do what she wanted with.  Dropped the DVD "Marriage Retreat" with David White off for her too.  Bill and I watched it and it was so funny, plus had a great message.  I took the boys home and went in for a few minutes.  Left Melissa's and decided to go wait at Vikki's until Hailey got out of school at 4:30.  We had a nice visit and some laughs about those doggies of hers.  They sure love Nana!  Took them a few minutes to calm down, and then they were great.  I picked Hailey up and took her home.  Played Hillsong's new song, "Are You Ready" for her.  I sure love that song.  She really liked it too.  I came home and made a hamburger, potatoes and veggies for Bill.  I started chili, but knew it wouldn't be done before he had to leave for his Elder's Meeting.  I put Hillsong worship on the tv.  Love how they worship when they are singing.  I ate some chili when it was done.  Did the newsletter for Faith Riders and read my chapter for small group tomorrow night.  Bill got home and we watched the news. His meeting went well.

Max does great on this!

Bruce left on the train for Chicago at 5 a.m. this morning.  It was raining when we got up.  Bill and I went to church.  Bill went back to pray with Pastor and the elders, and I went into the prayer room to pray with the intercessors before church.  Worship was amazing again.  Pastor gave an amazing message too.  We went up to pray with people after church. Brittany and Nolan were still here when we were done praying, so I finally got to hold Bentley!  He came right to me and smiled the whole time I held him.  What a precious happy baby!  We met Nancy and Randy, Phyllis and Andy, Ralph and Nancy, Carol and Bruce and Marty at Berger's after church.  We all had such a great time and we all had great food except Bill.  He ordered shepherd's pie but it wasn't like the shepherd pie we were thinking.  It was a burger with Mashed Potatoes on it, covered with gravy in the middle of the plate.  Then they had grilled veggies around that with mushrooms.  We stopped to get Bill some IvaRest at Meijer for his poison ivy.  He has it on his arm and his ankle.  Called Melissa when I got home.  Bruce made it to Chicago safely and has already ate some pretty good food.  Bill watched Evan, while Melissa, Hailey and I went shopping for Hailey's homecoming dress and shoes.  We went to Macy's and Penney's.  Of course, we prayed first.  The dress she got was $69, on sale for 30% off.  When we checked out, the dress came to $18 which included tax.  We were all amazed.  Then her shoes were only $7 on sale.  It helps that she is in a kids size shoe still.  We had fun together and went to Taco Bell before picking Evan up.  We stopped and got the boys food and then when I left Melissa's, I went and picked Bill up a burger at Tony's.  We watched Fixer Upper and then watched a movie.  It rained a little more.  Plants outside should continue to to good with this great weather.  You will find out which dress Hailey chose when you see her homecoming pictures.

9/21/19....Rode our motorcycle to St. Helen, Went to sawdust days

Daryl, Bill and Greg!  We ready to take off and ride to Prudenville to meet  CMA people camping in St. Helen for lunch

Trees are starting to turn color

Beautiful scenery along the way to St. Helen
Beaverton....I got poison Ivy here across the bridge on this side when I was 11 at the boat races
Beautiful Amish home we passed

The Lake was beautiful in Prudenville
We met CMA people at Buccilli's Pizza in Prudenville...great food
Greg serving us pizza
Some CMAers in their 4 wheelers

Most of us on motorcycles went on a great ride after lunch

Stopped at a gas station with a pretty store on our ride.  They had a scripture on their gas pump which was so wonderful to see!

Greg relaxing on the single person swing
This girl was real sweet.  She didn't speak real clear English, but I think her name is Paula.  She scooted over and told me there was room on her swing for both of us.  Ha Ha, I was pretty squished.  She and her husband are state reps. for CMA

This store had such beautiful plants

Greg and the rest of the group getting ready to finish our ride
Jeanette and Mark pulled in with their camper.  She was driving, he got out, and she backed the camper in.  I was like WHAT, I only go forward.  Then I remembered she's a bus driver.
She just had knee replacement surgery a couple of weeks ago.  We were so happy to see them.  Haven't spent time with them since we camped with them, Vikki and the twins in Davison.
Daryl, Bill and Greg at the campground

Ron, Sandy, Jeanette, Mark, Kathy, and Jeff (Peka too)
We left our house at 10 to ride to St. Helen.  It was beautiful, in the 70's when we left and then in the 80's.  The ride was amazing.  Loved seeing the beautiful scenery, Amish homes, and buggies. Saw one farmer and his horses harvesting wheat.  They sure work hard.  Got to Buccilli's in Prudenville and had a delicious dinner.  Great salad bar, cheesy breadsticks and pizza.  So nice seeing Roger and Rayleen again. (They used to be our National Evangelists, but retired)  They had an amazing anointing from the Lord.  Sure was great getting to talk to them again.  Mike and Gail were there too.
Most all of the State Leaders came.  After lunch, we went on a great motorcycle ride.  So much fun!
We stopped at a cute store on our ride. We got caught in a downpour for about 5 miles.  Weird...My jeans and top didn't even get wet.  I did tuck my sleeves in my vest. It was a little damp, but dried very fast when the sun came out.  Got to the campground, and walked around to see everyone.  We were very happy when we saw Mark and Jeanette pull in with their camper.  We hung out at their campsite for a while, then had to head for home.  We went to Hemlock Sawdust Days on our way home.  Walked around in the park.  Bill met a friend he worked with there.  Talked to him and his wife for a while.  Talked to Melissa and Vikki when I got home.  Sure was happy to talk to them.
Made my day. Messaged with Kenzie and Chatted on Facebook Messenger with Teresa Fisher.
It was a super fun day!

Fri., 9/20/19...Took Missy to therapy, Cleaned out bird houses, sat on swing and read my Bible today, Went to Garage sales in Hemlock

Our pool at our old house in Hemlock is now gone.  I was sad to see this, but it lasted 30 years so I guess that is pretty good.  Just so many memories with that pool and the kids.

The barn next to the house is all the way down now too

Flowers and plants are still doing great with all of this great weather

Evan, Me, Max, Jack, Bruce and Bill

Max, Melissa and Evan at Mooneys

I picked Melissa up for therapy.  Dropped her off and went to Walmart to pick up a few things.  Went home and cleaned some things in the basement and hung two curtains.  Sat outside to read my Bible today.  It was such a nice day.  I went to pick up Melissa and took her some roast, carrots and potatoes with gravy I had warmed up for her.  Took her a diet coke too.  I know after 4 hours of therapy she is hungry.  She was so happy which made me so happy.  Dropped her off and came home and emptied out birdhouses.  Bill and I went to Hemlock to check out Sawdust Days.  After we drove around and didn't see anything much going on, we went to garage sales.  When we were heading out of town, I looked up on my phone and things weren't going to get going until 6.  We went to Old Town for hotdogs, fries and root beer.  At 7:30 we went to meet Melissa, Bruce and the boys at Mooneys.  Hailey was at the Valley football game.  We had yummy ice cream and lots of fun.  The boys were so cute and nice.

Bill met Rich for coffee.  I picked Melissa up and we dropped Jack's soccer stuff off at his school, then went to Frankenmuth.  We went through Abby's, the Cheese Factory, the fudge shop, and a couple other stores.  We enjoyed the samples we ate.  We sat on a bench and ate some fudge, then drove down by where we were meeting Matthew.  We still had 15 minutes, so went down the road and saw a second hand store.  We went in and looked around.  Didn't get anything, but had fun looking.  We got to Poblanos and Matthew was waiting for us.  We sat outside and ate and visited.
We had to deal with a few bees for a while.  Matthew had a fajita and Melissa and I had 1/4 order of Nachos.  The food was delicious once again.  Matthew said he messaged our church to see if the church bus could pick him up.  He also told us he was listening to Elevation Worship.  Love spending time with him.  We left at 2:45 to go pick up Melissa's boys.  We dropped Jack off at soccer and then went to Melissa's.  Bruce was taking Hailey to Frankenmuth to watch Valley's game against Cass City, Mia's school.  They were happy about getting to hang out together.  Bill and I rode our motorcycle to meet Faith Riders to help the residents at Community Village with bingo.  What a blessing for us.  The residents are so sweet.

Wed., 9/18/19...Kernel Burner cleaned...Taught K-1 kids at church

Lourdes put a picture of the top dog with shampoo in its hair on facebook.  It looks just like the bottom picture of a cake someone made.

My handsome sweetie all dressed up to go to a ceremony at the VA Hospital
While I was eating breakfast, I saw a beautiful hummingbird by my plant on the porch.  I didn’t think I would see anymore this late in the year, so was happy I was in the right place to see it.  The guy from The Kernel Burner came and cleaned out our pellet Burner. He came in and showed me what he found.  Yikes, it was two dead bats.  Went to a few stores and then went to the mall and walked.  Talked to Kimmy while walking.  She said the school is hiring help for her, so she will be getting out of work earlier.  I’m excited because then we can spend more time together.  Praying they find someone good quickly.  Went in to a few stores there too.  Talked to Melissa too.  Vikki called when she got out of work.
Cut down my peonies and some other plants when I got home.  It was 82 degrees out.  Went to church to teach my kid’s class.  Great group of kids.  When Dr. Galsterer dropped Declan off in my class he told him he had the best teacher ever.  He's always so nice!  I've had three of his boys in my class and they are all amazing kids.
