Charlie, Max and Sue in chapel...love this sweet boy too!

Evan and I made this turkey trap...everyone had to come up with  their own design

Evan had to give a demonstration how it worked.  He shared that the sticks could be raised to let the turkey back out.  Kindhearted boy!

We had juice and cookies afterward

Bill and I went to Special Friend Day.  Charlie and Sue were already there.  There was a lineup out the door and halfway down the parking lot.  Special friends all went to chapel and found our students.  Jack came looking for Papa,  I went and got Max for Charlie and Sue, and Evan was asking his teacher if he could come sit by me when I went to find him.  The chapel was really a good one with a great message.  Mr. Holcomb gave the message and also led us in worship.  He sang really good worship songs.  We prayed for our student and the student prayed for their Special friend which was really nice.  We went to their classroom afterward to make something together.

Bill and Charlie left the school to go pick Roy up from the hospital in Bay City and take him home. I took Sue home.  Packed for our trip.  I called Adam to see how many steps he had, thinking I would beat him because he was riding so much.  He still had twice as many as I had from gym in the morning.  We went to see "It's a Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood" and then went to Culvers for a burger and concrete mixer.  Love how kind Mr. Roger's was and how he sincerely reached out to people.  Kimmy and Jared made it to their motel in Tennessee.

We went to pick up Roy at 6:20 a.m.  He was supposed to have stent put in at 7:30, but it was 9:15 before they took him back to do it.  We went to the cafeteria and had breakfast while we waited.  We went through the gift shops. I found a cute snowman with clips to hand pictures for my gift to take to our CMA leadership Christmas party.  We walked out to the car and put it in.  Went back up to the waiting room.  When they called our names, we went back to recovery to see Roy.  When we went to see Roy in recovery, the nurse said the doctor only did one stent, Roy was bleeding around the plug, his blood pressure dropped and he had to lay flat and be in recovery for six hours. We were a little nervous.  We prayed for God to work it out for good because Roy loves him and is the called according to his purpose.  We called Roy's wife, Marie and had her pray too.The doctor came in and said he only did one stent because when he got in there, the one they thought was 90% blocked was 80% blocked, the one they thought was 70% blocked was only 40%.  They put a sheath in to put and instrument in on the left side, to check and see if the plug which was bleeding closed and it did.  His blood pressure stabilized.  God sure did work it out for good.  We are thanking and praising God. Talked to my friend Vikki.  Sure was good to talk to her.  Melissa called to say she got called for Jury Duty again.  They sure call her a lot.  She also told me Hailey got her Brio Magazine and was so happy.  Peyton and Isaac had a cute balloon parade with the balloons the kids all made.  It was so cute.  Love their balloons.  Bill and I took naps when we got home from the hospital.  Mailed some cards out.  Ate turkey leftovers.  Talked to Kimmy.  She showed me her beautiful Christmas tree up.  Bill and I watched Hallmark movie.  I did my blog and newsletter and Bill did the funeral he will be doing. I was happy to get pictures of Shannon, Rob and James today.

Went to prayer group and had to lead it today because Phyllis was gone.  Great worship today!  Emily sang Waymaker which is such a great song.  Pastor gave a good message.  After church, Vikki, Rody, Peyton and Isaac came over.  Shortly after Marie and Roy came.  We all had Thanksgiving Dinner leftovers.  Bill had to go to Birch Run to pick up a thing he got for his trailer.  He got back just in time to tell everyone goodbye.  We went to Hailey Band Concert right after they left.  She played great and the symphonic band was amazing.  We left there and went to the Farmer's Market in Frankenmuth for a Veterans Thanksgiving Meal free to veterans.  Mine cost $5.
Fred and Lourdes came.  They saw Bill's post about and want to join us which was so nice.  Matthew came shortly after we got there and sat with us.  We had so much fun at our table.  The food was all homemade and delicious. Diedrich Bronner and his group prepared it.  He was very nice and really honored the veterans.  Debbie worked and served, but came to our table several times to talk with us.  She did a great job.  She had channel 12 come interview Bill.  We went to Don's to drop off a receipt for a turkey dinner and also gift cards our care group went in on for him and Mary.  Came home, did my blog and watched the news.

Sat., 11/23/19....Kimmy, Jared, Adam and Eli came and took care of downed trees for us. Thankful and Blessed Thanksgiving Celebration with family and friends

Got up and got the stuffing made, turkey in, and ham in.  Kimmy, Jared, Adam and Eli got here early and said they wanted to surprise Bill and have the trees cut up and cleaned up before he got hoe from the Marine Corp Breakfast.  They got busy and had it all done in 45 minutes.  They worked so hard and sure were a huge blessing to Bill and to me.  Thank you, Thank you, Thank you all so much.  Love you all so much!  While they were working on the trees, I peeled potatoes and got more food ready.  Kimmy came in and helped do stuff on my list.  We both made the cheesy potatoes.  They all made my day so much easier.  Vikki, Rody, Peyton and Isaac came.  Vikki brought a beautiful strawberry jello loaded with strawberries.  It looked beautiful and tasted delicious.  Bruce, Melissa and kids came and brought Braunschweiger.  Yum, I haven't had that in ages.  Stacie, DJ and Kody came and she made a beautiful delicious veggie tray that looked like a turkey and homemade dill pickles.  Kimmy and I both made rolls that were delicious. We ate lots of food and had a good time visiting.  It was a wonderful day with family and friends who we love so much.  The kids were all good and played so nice together.  We ate yummy dessert....apple pie that Kimmy made and Eli made, yummy Banana pudding dessert that Rody made, chocolate banana pie and banana cream pie that I made.  Jared, Kimmy, Bruce, Vikki, me and Melissa all played 3-13. I started out losing, but then ended up winning.  What fun!  The kids watched the Shaggy Dog movie while we played.

Jack on his field trip

Made dough for rolls, made a chocolate banana pie and a banana cream pie, and made cranberry relish.  Baked the rolls.  Bill sampled one when he got home from talking with the family of Sergeant Major Rice to get information for his memorial service Bill is doing.  Raked some leaves while Bill ran the tractor.  Vicki Beemer went on Max's class's field trip to Mt. Pleasant.  She kept sending me lots of pictures which was sweet of her. Evan's teacher sent a cute picture of him doing his work and said he was having a great day.  So nice of her.  Max's class got to ride in a limo today and went out to eat for winning the fundraiser competition.  Adam sent me a text saying he couldn't wait until tomorrow.  He sure is cute!We went to Old Town Drive In and used coupons to get free coney dogs.  We went to Aldi's after that and picked up a few things I forgot.  Came home and I chopped celery and onions for the stuffing.  We watched a Hallmark Movie.
