It was a wonderful Resurrection Day!  Put a roast in right away in the morning.  We started our day out in worship and prayer, then watched New Life's Easter service.  Worship and message was amazing.  Emily sang "The Blessing" at the end and did such a great job! Love that song and receiving the blessing spoken from the Word of God.  We listened to Franklin Graham and Michael W. Smith's Easter Service which was great too! FaceTimed with all the girls and their families today!  Bill and I commented on how thankful we are that our girls love the Lord, have husbands who love the Lord and are raising our grandkids to love the Lord. Also that even though we can't be together, each family is making Easter special, doing fun things for their kids, making great meals and celebrating Resurrection Day remembering the Lord Jesus and what he did!  We are so blessed!  This is our good success!  Thank You Lord!  We ate our dinner which was yummy.  Bill cleared off the table, put things away and loaded the dishwasher while I finished eating.  So sweet of him!  We went outside for a while.  It was sunny and 52 degrees and eventually got up to 60 degrees.  Didn't rain until 7:45 here.  Bill made a very nice pen for me.  We talked to his sister, Debbie and had a good talk about the Lord and the church Matthew wants to go to.  She said all they listen to is 89.1 now and Matthew plays it all day.  God is really working!  She said when the church meets in the building again, she will go with Matthew.  Yay!  I loved spending lots of time talking to the girls and seeing all of the grandkids and talking to them on FaceTime.  It was a very special day, even though we couldn't be together in person because of the Coronavirus Pandemic and Stay Home order from the governor. I made Bill a cake today which made him happy!

Our apple tree Bill pruned (and I mean pruned) last year is good for something.  This robin said up there for a long time.  So beautiful!
Stacie, our Pastor's daughter-in-law sewing while holding her new beautiful baby girl!  She is one of the sewers for face masks

It was a beautiful sunny day in the 50's.  I walked 2 miles on the treadmill.  We took showers in the morning.  Bill ate a banana for breakfast and I had oatmeal.  I made rolls and boiled some eggs.  Bill made pens in the shed.  I worked on flower beds.  Vikki came to drop off Kimmy and my toilet paper she picked up for us.  She also dropped off ties for face masks.  While she was here, Bill washed her car.  He had told me to tell her the car wash was open lol.  That's what my dad always told me, and I would head over when ever the car wash was open and he would wash my car.  Loved it and always went when he called me.  We went to drop off Kody's birthday present and Easter card and visited with him and Stacie through the window.  She sent me a video of him opening his present and he was just so cute and sweet.  Bill and I watched The Bible on Prime.  We watched the episodes about the miracles of Jesus, his betrayal, his death and his resurrection...then the disciples when he appeared to all of them.  I am so thankful for Jesus and His love for me and everyone!  I talked to all of the girls....I love my girls!  Fun to see everyone's family egg coloring time.

Day 26, Friday, 4/10/2020....Devotion, Bible time, worked on face masks

My hyacinths looks so beautiful and smell wonderful .

My clematis is really growing....the rock is there because clematis like their feet in the shade and their faces in the sun.  When the sun is hottest, it comes from the direction of the rock, so the rock shades the bottom.  Kimmy told me that they like shade at the bottom last year so I put the rock there.  I didn't know the saying then.  Bill's sister, Pam, just put that on her facebook post.

Can't wait until these daffodils blossom....there are 12  getting ready to open
Kimmy posted pictures of Wyatt...supervising lol....Adam, Eli and Jacob decorating Easter eggs

Made 2 more facemasks for Melissa and Bruce
We joined Pastor online for the morning devotion.  Ate eggs, potatoes, bacon, ham and toast for a late breakfast.  We called to wish Roy a happy 85th birthday, and talked to him and Marie for quite a while.  Talked to Melissa right after that, then Vikki.  Didn't get to talk to Kimmy, but thought about her lots.  So happy to see the egg pictures she posted on Facebook which I borrowed.  They boys look so handsome and they sure did a nice job on the eggs. I sure love the pictures!  I walked around outside and looked at my flowers and took some pictures.  Still cold and windy out, but not as cold as yesterday.  I worked on facemarks.  Tomorrow I will get some coffee filters Deb from church is dropping off and will iron and fold those to put in the facemarks.  Many hands make the work light!  We are having fun chatting while we are working.  Such a great group of ladies.  We ate the rest of the bean dip from last night on our nachos and had blueberry pie.  We only ate the two meals today since we ate breakfast so late.  Dropped a couple things off at Melissa's.  Watched Pastor's Good Friday message online.   So thankful for what Jesus did for me (us).  Loved seeing President Trump's Easter blessing from the Oval Office.  So good to hear him talk about Jesus and have a prayer of blessing for Easter.  I sure am happy to have a president who is not ashamed of the Gospel of Christ.  It was very touching.

First year for pink hyacinths...finally starting to open

Beautiful daffodil.  This year this only had this one blossom.   Another one on the other side of the shed has 12 blossoms, but they aren't open yet

Made a blueberry pie using Lela's pie crust recipe.  YUM!

We listened to Pastor Ken's devotion.  Ate oatmeal with bananas and blueberries, nuts and raisins in it.  Bill worked out in the shed on pens.  It was sunny in the morning, then sleet came and rain.  I walked around the yard a couple of times while it was nice, even though it was cool out.  I went out to the shed to see when Bill wanted to go deliver stuff to the kids.  He said he had to finish the pen first and asked if I wanted to polish the chrome on our motorcycle.  I told him he could of picked warmer weather, but did the job.  He had the chrome polish on it so I just had to shine it up with a soft cloth.  I shined it up good.  Next we have to do the blue part.  We went to Melissa's first and delivered some Shea conditioner and an envelope for them all to open on Easter.  We sure enjoyed our short visit with all of them through the door.  Next we went to Vikki's and dropped off some Laundry detergent, dishwasher soap and their envelope to open on Easter.  We had a nice visit with them through the window too.  We went to see Kimmy and her family next and dropped off a brownie mix and their envelope to open on Easter.  It was so nice getting to see all of our family and visit from a safe place and distance.  I talked to each of the girls on the phone today too.  I made Bruce's bean dip tonight for dinner.  I didn't put cheese on it....just put cheese on mine after  dished it up.  We put it on our plates of nachos and added lettuce and salsa.  It was delicious.  Bill told me to make it that way from now on.  He really liked it. Thanks to Bruce for that easy and delicious recipe.  We had blueberry pie afterward.  Thank you Lela for that delicious recipe.  So easy too!  We watched our church service for Passover at 7.  Melissa and her family watched and Vikki and her family. Melissa and her family and Vikki and her family were taking communion at their house too and Bill's sister, Angie, took it with us as she watched the service all the way in Kansas.  So meaningful and so thankful for what Jesus did!  We remember!!!
