Mon, 9/7/2020, Went to CMA Service, Packed up, Left BayShore, Celebrated Peyton and Isaac's 9th Birthday, Picked pumpkins

Bill driving ahead of me when we were taking the golf cart back
Me and Bill in the golf cart
On the way home, Bill was under the Welcome CMA sign in town and I was following him in the truck

I got up and packed some stuff to go home.  We went to worship and then devotion time at 9 a.m. It was on Pilgrim's Progress and the Word.  Bill took the golf cart and he and Wes picked up all the garbage.  Gayla and I packed the last minute stuff and put the slide outs in.  Our National Evangelists, Jay and Jane came by to say goodbye and let us know someone took their golf cart from in from of their cabin.  Bill and I went in our golf cart to search for it.  We found it and he drove ours and I drove the other one back so we could drop ours off.  A camp worker's golf cart died, so he took the missing one while he
charged it.  Weird because you would at least think he would ask them first.
Bill got a call from Pastor Jeff at our church.  He said they might want Bill to pray before President Trump speaks at the airport in Freeland on the 10th.  He wanted Bill's approval.  What an honor that would be.  Bill was sure happy to get that call. We left BayShore and Bill went ahead of me on the Motorcycle and I followed pulling the 5th wheel.  We got home, parked the camper, and brought a couple of things in the house.  I went right upstairs and looked at the rooms they changed around for me.  They look so nice. Amazing to me that they got all that done!  I didn't even think the one bedroom could be changed around.  I talked to Vikki, and they are all coming over at 6 so we can celebrate Peyton and Isaac's birthdays.  Can't wait!  Bill and I and then left with the truck to go pick up the dump tank to bring to our house so Bill can take it back in the morning.  We stopped for ice cream in Sebewaing.  YUM!  Then we got turkey, potatoes, corn, (and I got cranberries and dressing) at the Turkey Roost.Vikki and Peyton were waiting on the porch when we got home and Peyton was playing with her Kinetic sand.  Nice how it's not messy.  Rody and Isaac got her in a little bit and we all sang to the kiddos and then ate cupcakes which were really good.  The kids opened their gifts and were really excited.  They are spending the night because Vikki has to work early in the morning.  They were so fun to watch with their birthday gifts.  Isaac got an electric safe and put all of his other birthday gifts inside it.  He kept telling me he loved it and showing me how it worked with a combination and with a key.  He was so cute.  Peyton kept telling me how much she loved her move Barbie and showed me some cute poses.  She had her lego set put together before bed.  She worked on it while I had to unload the camper because it's supposed to rain tomorrow.  When I came in, she wanted me to watch one full house with her.  I sure love these kiddos.  We read the pop up Bible and they did the pop ups for me.  Isaac showed me how his projector works on the wall which was fun.  They both prayed AMAZING PRAYERS!  Then I prayed and tucked them in.  I came downstairs and did my blog.

This year they did Golf cart games too.  I worked at the putt putt golf while they were going on

Ziggy having fun in the dunk tank.  Jane taking his picture

Ziggy got dunked quite a few times, twice by Bill

Wished Peyton and Isaac a happy birthday.  9 years old already!  Went to breakfast in the dining hall.  Had scrambled eggs, potatoes and bacon plus a freshly baked cinnamon roll.  Went to Leadership pre service prayer time, worshipped and the church service.  Made burgers on the grill, potatoes and sweet corn for lunch.  Did bike games afterward.  This year they had a trike category and a golf cart category.  I didn’t really want to do it, but did for Bill.  He’s pretty competitive, and was telling me how I should pick up the road kill (stuffed animals)with my net and then how I should help him  weave the motorcycle through 8 cones while he drove blindfolded.  I told him I was just going to have fun and not be pressured.  Four trikescompeted.  We got 7 stuffed animals and the best time so took first place in that one.  Our friends paid $5 to go to RFS for another try because they let anyone do that to raise money.  They still didn’t beat.  We took first place in the blind fold  competition too.  I went and helped sanitize clubs and balls at the putt putt after that.  Gayla came to see if she could help me, but I was done.  We watched just as the National Evangelists wife, Jane got water dumped on her because Bill paid someone to do it.  She went after him with a big water balloon and j it. It would have hit him, but he ducked just in time.  We watched as he tried going fast backwards and fell.  We heard him get teased at the evening service about falling twice.  He did a great job throwing balls at the dunk tank target and dunked Ziggy twice.  He’s probably going to be one sore boy tomorrow.  We packed up all of our outside stuff because it’s supposed to rain and we head home in the morning.  Rode our motorcycles to the Dairy barn and had ice cream with Wes and Gayla.  Went to the evening service where they announced the winners of the bike games. We helped load all the goodies CMA stuff that didn’t sell after service.  Played 3-13.  At 11 pm it poured our

Sat, 9/5/2020, Happy Birthday Bruce3rd day, State Rally, LED the pledges, Wayne shared his great testimony, Worked at putt putt, bug ride, good evening service

Happy Birthday to Bruce!!!  Nice picture of Evan, Bruce, Jack and Max celebrating!

Bruce’s Birthday We read ours Bibles.  Rained in the morning just lightly and for a short time.  Ate breakfast in dining hall no other people in our section. Mrs dished up behind plastic, then handed to us.  Strawberries on waffles, eggs sausage, packaged yogurt for breakfast.  Went to tabernacle for before service prayer and a great service.  Had the new Holland Chapter go up ad the oldest Chapter, Caro go up. Great testimonies of what God is doing!  They put new water that’s from the Bayshore pool in the dunk tank. It looks much better.  I dropped my zucchini breads and brownies off at the bake sale.  Went to get instructions on how to sanitize and work at putt putt.Nice and safe. Only me working..  People were so nice and kids were so cute.  Everyone sanitized their hands when they started and again on the 9th hole, they were told not to touch statues of the animals or people, leave the hole empty between golfers, and they put their clubs in a barrel when they were done.  I sanitized my hands and put the color of balls they wanted on the counter, they looked at the different sizes of clubs through the window and I got one like it and set it out for them.  Set score sheets and pencils out so they could just pick up one.  Left me a sprayer to spray them with disinfectant.  Then they got wiped off and put on a rack to dry. Julie Sprunger came and said she would do the spraying for me and close up so I could go on the bug run on the motorcycle with Bill.

The sun came out and it was a nice ride.

Nice evening worship and message.  Don took 2nd place because he got two bugs on his target on his windshield.  Played 3-13. I was  the winner for once.

Gayla, Wes, Cheryl, Elaine and Barb setting up the War Room

It’s not too crowded here which is nice.  Face masks have to be worn in all the buildings.  In goodies and hospitality rooms , only 10 people allowed at a time.  Tabernacle many chairs are out, windows open and fans running.  Good message given by Jeff the camp director on importance of following guidelines, wearing face masks and respecting others.

Kimmy and the boys and Vikki and Peyton went to our house to fix leaky pool hose.  Vikki sent me a picture of them all sitting on the deck. When I talked to them they seemed like they didn’t want to talk much.  Later they FaceTimed me and showed me how they changed the big bedroom upstairs around and cleaned it too.  I have been wanting that done since we got the bed frame in January.  It looks beautiful the way they arranged it.  They hung my new wall hangings, moved some pictures on the wall, fixed closet bifold doors and knobs, cleaned make up table chair and more!  I was amazed and so happy. Thank you to all of you.  Later I got another call from Vikki while the  message was being given in the tabernacle. I called her back and she sent me a video.  The moved the furniture in the other bedroom across the hall too and cleaned it.  It looks amazing too. I love how they arranged it. Both rooms are so much better.  I am so blessed and can’t thank the Lord enough for the family I have.  We. Sat around the huge bonfire for a while, then came back to the camper and played 3-13. Bill was the winner

Sunset at BayShore

BayShore sunset on Lake Huron

We packed the last minute things.  Left at 9:20 a.m.and I pulled the 5th wheel with the truck and followed Bill on the motorcycle.  The RV video cameras were great. I loved being able to see the back and sides of the camper as I traveled.  So clear too.  We didn’t get to stop at Tim Horton’s which is our tradition because of COVID-19.  Vikki called me and I talked to her during my favorite part of the drive.  Didn’t take long to set up.  Wes and Gayla parked next to us.  It got super windy.  Vikki FaceTimed me to show me branches down at our house.  She also showed me the hose to our pool that sprung a leak.  So nice of her to check things for us.  Barb and I went for a walk on Roberta’s Walk while Bill had to show campers where to park.  The water is way up.  It was extra windy out there.  Made burgers, potatoes and corn on the cob for dinner.  Made enough for Barb to have some too.  Bill beat at 3-13.

Day 170, 9/2/2020, Picked the Garden, Canned tomatoes, Moved furniture back on deck, Baked for Run For the Son Bakesale

Cut up peppers while I canned tomatoes

At 7 p.m., we put all the furniture and stuff back on the deck...It looks beautiful

I made zucchini bread (1 big loaf and 3 small loaves) and brownies today for the bake sale

Read my Bible and then went to Jack's and Aldi to get stuff needed for our camping trip.  Came home picked the garden.  I made zucchini bread.  While it was baking, I washed the tomatoes and peppers and cut the peppers up and froze them and canned the tomatoes.  I got the Kale out of the dehydrator and put it in the grinder and then put it in a big shaker container.  Baked brownies after the zucchini bread was done.  Bill washed the Bike, the truck and the front of the camper.  He mowed the grass too.  We packed our stuff in the camper.  Picked up dinner at Souper Cafe.  Yummy chicken noodle soup.  After that we put all the stuff back on the deck except the cabinet for the generator and the generator.  That was too heavy for me to lift with Bill.  The deck looks so great with everything on it. Thank you again everyone!  I talked to Vikki and she got Peyton and Isaac's school stuff straightened out and let the teacher know how others could get it easily.  I went over to Melissa's and dropped drumsticks off!  I saw Hailey walking a huge German Shepherd with Ann.  I stopped and talked to them.  Ann was having the dog get used to Hailey and Hailey was doing a great job walking it and having it sit while she talked to me.  Melissa and I had a nice but short visit as I had to pick up our dinner,  get home and get stuff packed before it got dark out.  Melissa called me later and said Hailey came down and had one with them too.  She said they were all happy.  I had to finish packing the refrigerator and freezer stuff, so I called her back later.  She is feeling better about doing this online schooling now too.  She is figuring stuff out quickly now.  Adam texted me and wanted to know if they could come over Friday.  I texted him back that they can, but I won't be here because we will be at our State Rally.  Bummer!  I sure love having them visit.  I sure love my family, and I sure am blessed with a great one.

Isaac making the bed in the loft for me after I washed the bedding

We can walk on it now.  Took the masking tape off today!  Tomorrow at 6 the furniture can go back on it

We clicked on Isaac's classroom and he did this cool music activity.  Peyton did it on my phone

Vikki’s 1st day back to work.I got up at 6:30 and got ready.  Issac got up at 7.  We ate breakfast, then I woke Peyton up.  She got up really good.  Got the computer ready for Isaac’s school and my phone ready for Peyton.  The teacher commented that she was having technical difficulties.  Lots of kids and parents were commenting about not being able to join.  Peyton and Isaac left a couple of nice comments.  A few of the students were able to join after nine, but lots couldn’t, so she’s sending a new email and link.  We will try again around 2.  They did get on the classroom and did some of the fun activities there were to do.  We took Papa to pick up his truck that they were finished working on.  When we got home we played 3-13 with Papa.  I was behind the whole game, but ended up winning in the last two hands.  We ate lunch after that.  We went out to the camper and Peyton put the slide outs out and Isaac made the bed in the loft up, because I washed all the bedding.  They were great helpers.  Vikki came while we were out there and she tried to set up their schooling online on her phone, and we also tried in the house on my computer, but we couldn't see a link to join.  Vikki will try tomorrow and see if it's straightened out.  Their poor teacher felt bad because she had all of these problems.  Praying tomorrow goes better for her. I talked to Kimmy.  She was cutting up green peppers for the freezer and then she was going to do her corn.  She also had mugs made and was waiting for the handles to dry.  She was happy the boys had such a great day yesterday and so was I.  I loved hearing about their day.  Vikki, the kids and I went for a swim.  Vikki didn't stay in long because she said it was to cold.  I didn't think it was to bad.  I had fun with the kids and then we got out, and Vikki, Bill and I put the barracuda together and put it in the pool.  It worked great and cleaned the bottom of the pool really good in just a short time.  Easy Breezy!  Bill worked on the video camera and mounted the screen.  He said it wasn't working and asked if I could help, but by the time I got the pool covered, he had it working.  Melissa called me and sent me pictures of the boy's first day of school.  I loved hearing about their day and hers too.  She was a busy mom!
Vikki made scalloped potatoes and ham and while it was cooking, she brought me a brace for my sore knee.  Boy did that ever make my knee feel good.  Her job went great today and they were very safe. She got over 17,000 steps today.  Over 12,000 were from working at the school.  Adam texted me, and Hailey and I texted.
