Thurs., 5/25/23, Went to Aldi, Sam's Club and Home Store, Went to Maddy's, Went to Evan's Birthday party, Evan spent the night

My Clematis got its first blossom today.  Many more coming!

Evan's 12th Birthday Party with friends from school, Vikki and kids and Bill and I.  The kids sure had fun and got exercise.  The cake was delicious!

Evan spent the night at our house.  He sure had fun playing minecraft with Uncle Jared

Put chicken in the crockpot. Kit Kat seemed like something was wrong, so I went out to check her out.  She seemed a little sore in the back end.  She ate and then acted ok, but didn't stay on the swing as long as usual.  When I went back out later, she was under the deck.  I went shopping at Aldi, Sam's Club and the Home Store in the morning.  Came home and made banana cream pudding dessert.  Later I made a salad, chicken noodle casserole and corn on the cob.  Bill met Alec at Panera, and I went to Maddy's and took her the food I made and also ate with her and hung out with her until Alec got home.  We had fun talking.  She is even more sore today and using a cane to get around.  Brielle was with her mom.  I sure will be glad when she is fully recovered from her heart procedure and all is well.  She was at a very high risk of having a stroke.  Sure am praying for her.  I talked with Alec for a few minutes, then left for home.  I got a text from Melissa saying they were going to have Birthday Cake in a few minutes at Evan's party.  I called Bill to tell him, and we both headed over to Airborne.
We got there a few minutes apart.  The cake was delicious. Bruce made a guinea pig cake because Evan loves guinea pigs.  His friends and cousins all had fun jumping and going on all the things there.  It's a really fun place for a party.  Evan came to our house to spend the night.  Melissa went home and got his things together and then came over and dropped them off and stayed and visited until around 11.

It was so windy when I got up, that I went outside quickly and brought in some things I didn't want breaking or blowing away.

Maddy had her procedure this morning. They did two Ablation's trying to get her heart in rhythm for good.  Praying for great results.  She will know for sure in 3 weeks.  She came home and was in lots of pain and couldn't use her hands.  She can't lift baby Brielle for 2 weeks.  Praying for a speedy and great recovery with no complications.

Sue called and wanted me to come anoint her with oil and pray with her.  I did, then Charlie got home and needed to change his bandages from where his skin got thin and peeled off on his hand, wrists, and one upper arm.  Sue and I assisted him.  He had used tape before, but now it was hard to get off, so he held the bandage in place and I wrapped it. It seemed to work good.  I prayed for him too.  They cut his blood thinner in half so hopefully this heals and doesn’t happen again.

Read my Bible, read my Blessings or Curses, You choose Book and did questions, and wrote answers in my notebook.  Stacie and I are both reading this book and then discussing it.

Vikki dropped Peyton and Isaac off after school while she went and had her air condition fixed again.  It was nice and cool when she came back to pick them up.  While she was gone, we played a game of 3-13.  Peyton was ahead most of the game.  She won with a score of 34, Isaac was next with 40 (he was behind until the King round) and I had 59.  They beat me and were pretty happy about it.  Vikki got here to pick them up right as we finished our game.  She needed to get home quickly so they could get ready for their 5th grade graduation tonight.

We got egg salad sandwiches and soup from Souper Cafe for dinner.  Then we left for the school.  The graduation was very nice.  Peyton and Isaac are very good, respectful, smart students and I am so proud of them.

Tues., Tues.,, 5/23/23, Missing my mom, went to Costco with Bill, read Bible on the deck

Missing my beautiful sweet mom who went to heaven 16 years ago.  She was the one I always wanted to talk to when things were going good and when they were not so good.  She was always encouraging and always had the right words to say.  Sometimes I still go to call her, then I remember I can't.  She gave the best hugs ever too!

These are some of the birds my phone picked up while I was bird watching today

Beautiful Azalea plant Melissa and Bruce gave me when we moved here 20 years ago.

Bill took the garbage out.  I had my oatmeal with strawberries, blueberries and walnuts on it.  I just drank water, no coffee today.  I put on some good worship music while I ate.

I vacuumed the house, while Bill was outside.  Then I went out on the deck and read my Bible.  It was warm early this morning and then got up to the 80's quickly.  I cleaned some drawers and went through some clothes.  Have some to donate to the thrift store.

I made personal pizzas for dinner.  After we ate, I went to prayer at church.  Prayer time was awesome.  When I got home, Bill and I watched a movie, called Season of Miracles.

Bethlehem posted more pictures of Jack and his class in Washington.  I texted Melissa and she called me right after.  We talked for a few minutes and then I finished my movie called Season of Miracles.
