Tues., Nov. 7, 2023, Went to Vikki's, worked on carving and putting holes in wax melters, yummy soup, Taco Tuesday, cake and strawberries for Kenzie and Travis's Birthdays, Prayer in the evening

Vikki, Travis, Kenzie and Kimmy working on carving and putting holes in wax melters Kimmy made.  Kimmy smoothed everyone's when we were done.
So fun to watch everyone's artistic talents

Travis, Kenzie and Peyton before we left to go to Sombrero's for Taco Tuesday
Kimmy sent me these pictures of the carved wax melters.  I love the different shaped holes in them.  Mine were pretty plain and simple. I just did different sized holes.  No carving.

I got up and got ready to go with Maddy, but she texted me and Brielle was still sick and her mom couldn't watch her, so we are going a different day when she's better.  I don't want to catch anything for over the holidays (or anytime) and never want to take a chance on giving something to Melissa. Praying for my sweet Brielle though.

I ate my oatmeal and drank my cappuccino.  Vikki called me to let me know when Kenzie and Travis were coming to her house, so I left to get there around the same time.  I was pleasantly surprised to see Kimmy there and very happy to see her.   I brought the angel food cake, strawberries and cool whip so we could celebrate Kenzie and Travis's birthdays.  Brought their cards too.

Bill picked up Max and spent about 4 hours with him.  They went out to eat and went to some shops.

Vikki and Kimmy set up the table with all the wax melters and tools to carve them and make holes in them on the table.  We all had two to work on, but ended up doing one more.  We had Vikki's yummy cheddar broccoli soup.  We all loved it!  We had fun working on the wax melters and seeing the talented creations, especially Travis and Kenzie's.  Vikki did a great job too.  Mine were very plain, but fun to do.  Kimmy was the one who smoothed them when we were finished.  At 1:15, all of us except Isaac went to Sombrero's for Taco Tuesday.  I insisted it was my turn to treat (they haven't given me my turn yet) so was happy to get to treat them all.  Very cheap and good meal.  For 6 of us it was only $23.  Kenzie did our tradition and bought us each a candy bar for our dessert.  So sweet of her and I would have forgot to do that.  I made her let me pay for that too.  It was nice that Kimmy could eat there with us too.  She had to leave early to go pick up Eli, but she got to enjoy the food and take some to go with her.  Vikki, Travis, Peyton and I went to Goodwill on our way back to Vikki's.  We all found some good stuff we bought.  Kenzie found lots of really cute things for the baby.  We went to Vikki's and looked at it when we got there.  Then we had angel food cake with strawberries and cool whip on it.  Yum!  We all liked that too.  Rody came home and had some too.  I sent the rest home with Kenzie and Travis.  Such a fun day!  We love our family.

When I got home, I read my Bible and relaxed some, than I went to church for Intercessory prayer.  There was a big group of us there tonight.  We all prayed over Jennifer who is the director and head teacher of our church preschool.  She does an amazing job.  Prayer is so important for whatever we do, so we are thankful we can intercede for people and our church, the staff and all the ministries.  We are blessed!

Monday, Nov. 6, 2023, Bill went with Charlie, I cleaned a couple of rooms, we cleaned the garage out and made room for Bill's truck, went to CMA meeting in Bay City

Kit Kat sleeping really sound
This is what the weather was like next to her....windy, rain, thunder, lightening.  Guess she was pretty comfy.
Cute picture of Mylee Kenzie sent me
New spot in the garage for my car
My new neighbor...guess we like red

We slept in again.  Stayed up really late past midnight last night to watch the prophecy fulfillments of the Bible that have happened.  So interesting.  We were both tired this morning though.

Charlie picked Bill up.  dI made a cappuccino and had oatmeal with raisins, blueberries and walnuts with it.  It got very dark outside and then started pouring with loud thunder and some lightning.  I read my Bible and then cleaned the living room and the dining room.
Bill got home, just as I was finishing.  I like to clean when he is gone.

I texted Julie and got the information about her church for our CMA State Leadership Christmas party.  Then I typed up a letter to send everyone with the information.  I sent that to Bill to send because he has everyone's email already in his computer.

We decided to clean out the garage and make room for Bill's truck.  Did lots of moving things around and moved some things to the basement and some out to the shed.  Made sure we have room for a ton of wood pellets and also a path for him to carry them into the house.
This required taking stuff off shelves in the garage, taking the shelves apart and moving it to the basement and reassembling it.

In the evening, we went to Trinity Rider's Meeting at Ponderosa.  It was nice to see everyone and a good meeting.  Bill shared a few things about the Colors Rally and about 7 soldiers.
We went to Meijer and got an angel food cake mix and strawberries so I could make Kenzie a cake when I got home to take to Vikki's to have when Kenzie and Travis are there tomorrow.

Relaxed after that in my recliner.

Sunday, 11/5/23, Went to prayer, than church service, Out to eat with Vicki and Iain, Rody took Max's senior pictures

Vikki took a picture of Rody taking Max's senior pictures.  More pictures will be posted later
JJ, my great nieces's son.  He's so cute!
My great niece Ahmeh and JJ

My other great nephew, Jobe!  He is a cutie too

We went to prayer, then to the church service.  Prayer time was awesome.  Then there was awesome worship during the church service.  It was Celebration Sunday so there were baby dedications, many baptisms, and many new members.  It was such a moving service witnessing all of these following Jesus and His Word.  So thankful!  Vikki went back and helped with Thomas.

After church, we came home and relaxed for an hour, then met Vicki and Iain Beemer for lunch at Coty's Landing.  We had such a nice time and it was so good to catch up with each other.  They are like family to us.

Rody and Vikki picked Max up and took him to a nearby park so Rody could take his senior pictures.  Max isn't a jean person, but wore jeans for his pictures.  They turned out so good.  Rody does an amazing job and Max sure smiled great and made it easy for him.  Can't wait to be able to post some.

I talked to Vikki a few times and also talked to Melissa a couple of times. Texted with Adam too.  I'm so glad he found Whitey.  He hasn't seen his blanket from when he was a baby since he went to Copper Harbor.  I am so thankful to have our Adam back.  He is doing so much better and his symptoms from his concussion are almost gone.

Bill and I watched a movie called Born to Win which was so good.  It was based on a true story.  What a great testimony of what God does in a life.  After that we watched a program on You Tube about prophecy's of the Bible that have been fulfilled and those yet to be fulfilled.  Sure stirred our hearts and made us excited for the return of Jesus.  God had shown Bill lots of the things shared.

Sat. Nov. 4, 2023, Slept in, got lots done outside, nice, sunny and in the 50's

Bill cut the cherry tree down.  We are going to plant something else where it was when he pulls the stump out.

I slept in until 9:30 this morning.  Wow!  That doesn't happen often.  Bill was already up.  I got up and made oatmeal and made Bill a coffee and me a cappuccino.  After I ate, I put awesome worship on.  Read my Bible after worship.  I'm almost done with Numbers and will be starting Deuteronomy.  Interest stuff to read about even though there are also lots of names and genealogy.

For lunch, we had soup and chicken salad sandwiches again.  Then we went outside to trim the cherry tree.  Bill was going to trim and I was going to pick up branches and take them to the back yard.  We decided we would take it all the way down and plant something else in its place.  Bill also pulled the trailer from out back into the driveway and we loaded it in it and he took it back where the brush pile is.  I trimmed the rosebush that was under the tree and hard to get at.  Then I trimmed the stuff in the front and weeded the area by the sidewalk.  After that was cleaned up, I went to the back and started working around the house, then did the new flower garden, then by the shed.  Bill picked up leaves again, then helped me pull the garbage cans to the front.  Lots of stuff to go in yard waste again this week.  Many piles of leaves on the garden I will be spreading out too.  That will be a different day while the temperatures are nicer again.

Kimmy texted me that Logan's aunt and uncle found Kimmy's cat, Teddy and have had him for a week.  They took him to the Animal shelter to see if he had a chip, then posted in the Hope Neighborhood Watch.  They will be picking him up tomorrow.  I am so happy they found him and know how happy the boys are to have their cat back.

Vikki, Kenzie and I face timed tonight.  We were laughing so hard, because Vikki's face turned into a beautiful girl.  I was going to ask her how she did that, but then she said why am I looking like this, so I know she didn't know.  Then I changed myself into my Avatar.
Kenzie wanted to try to change to something but could only figure out a round head, with two polka dot eyes and a funny mouth.  No other features except Kenzie's hair were show.  She looked so funny.  We had fun with that for a while, then got off.  Kenzie FaceTimed to show us the baby's book stand and what she did with it.  It looks so nice.  She put the books in tubs and put other stuff on it.

Friday, 11/3/23, Happy Birthday to Travis!, Kimmy, Melissa and Vikki came over, My nephew Mark and his wife had their baby girl,

Happy Birthday Travis!  We love you!
Beautiful Sunrise this morning.   Went upstairs and saw it through the window so took a picture.  Sometimes I miss them downstairs because the neighbor's house, the buildings and the trees block it.
My nephew Mark, watching the doctor hold his baby daughter up.  She was born by Caesarian
Tuyen holding their baby...so precious

Kimmy, Bill and I watched Jacob's concert this morning.  They sounded wonderful and Jacob did amazing!
Adam sent me these cool pictures of what he welded.  Looks like he is doing amazing.  I am so happy he loves it.

Got up early so I would be ready and have chicken salad made up before Kimmy got here.  Had my oatmeal a cappuccino.  Remembering my dad who passed away 14 years ago today.  I sure do miss him.  He was the best dad ever!  Kimmy came at around 9:30 and I made her a cappuccino.   Bill, Kimmy and I called Travis and sang Happy Birthday to him and wished him a happy birthday.  He's 31 this year.  We watched Jacob's last concert on the television.  They sounded amazing.  Then we visited and Kimmy put a new screen protector on my watch for me.  My nephew Mark and his wife in Vietnam had their baby girl today.  Her name is Khue Line (pronounced Kway-Lynn).  They always give the baby a nickname in Vietnam that they call her at home.  They are going to call her Linda after my sister, Mark's mom.  She passed away when she was 60 and I know this would make her so happy.

Melissa came after she took Max to school.  She brought Badger too.  We had vegetable soup and chicken salad sandwiches for lunch, and I made Melissa a Cappuccino too.  We had fun hanging out, then when Vikki got out of work, she came over.  I had her lunch ready when she got here, and made her a cappuccino too.  It was so nice having them all over today.  Kimmy and Melissa had to leave to go pick up kids from school.  Vikki stayed for a while, then had to leave to run to the store and then get Peyton and Isaac from school.

We read our Bibles and then decided to go to Midland to Big Boy so I could use my app to get a Slim Jim and fries for $5.  They brought my food out and then brought Bill a cheeseburger instead of a hamburger.  We had waited for a very long time for our food.  Then the waitress didn't bring any napkins or silverware.  When she came back with Bill's hamburger, the food was cold.  We went to pay and heard other people complaining about the service.  I sure hope they get things straightened out because I don't want Big Boy to close there like all the other ones.

We went to the new Hobby Lobby after that and walked around.  After taking that long at the restaurant, there was only 15 more minutes before Hobby Lobby closed so we didn't get to see much.  Bought a couple of things for Operation Christmas Child shoe boxes.

Came home and watched a movie called "Only One Way". Amen!  Jesus is the only way to heaven.  The Bible makes that very clear.

At 10 p.m., I sent a message to Mark and his wife congratulation them.  They sent me a video back showing me the baby.  It was morning for them in Vietnam.

Thurs., Nov. 2, 2023, Happy Birthday Matthew! My Nephew Mark's baby guru was born in Vietnam, Took soup to Charlie and Sue, filled motor home with gas,

Happy Birthday to my Nephew Matthew.  Such an amazing nephew and one of the nicest people I know.  I love you Matt.
Me, Melissa and Jack at a play at Valley called Fly Babies.  We had so much fun!

Had my yummy oatmeal and my coffee.  Bill just had a protein drink.  He read his Bible, then I joined him and read mine when I was done eating.  He met Charlie at 10:30 for coffee.  I took some homemade vegetable soup over to Sue’s for her and Charlie to have.  Charlie came home, got some coupons and went to Meijer.  I got to say a quick hello at least.  Sue and I had a nice visit.  Her knee surgery this month has been canceled because her toe hasn’t healed since surgery in August.

When I got home, I cut the rose vines down that grew way up in our little cherry tree out front.  Then Bill came outside and asked me if I wanted to go with him to put gas in the motor home.  Doesn’t need much, but it’s supposed to be full for the winter.  I was happy to go and ride in it again.  Vikki called and I talked to her, than Sue called to tell me she tried the soup and it was very good.

When we got home, we ate lunch, then I went out and gave Kit Kat some attention.  I like her hanging out on the deck on her blankets.  I got some plant holders from Amazon that came today.  I put some of them together and stuck them in my Crown Of Thorns plant to hold it up.  It's getting so tall, I was getting concerned that it might fall over.  This took care of the problem.  Bill and I took a short nap in the love seat, then Melissa called me and told me about a play at school Jack wanted to go to.  Bruce was pretty busy with all the stuff he had going on, so I told Melissa I would go with them.  I picked them up and we went to Jack's school.  The movie was so cute and the kids did an amazing job acting.  One of Jack's friends had one of the lead parts and was perfect for it.  The costumes and make up looked amazing too.  We had cookies and drinks at intermission that were yummy.  What a fun night with two of my favorite people.  It was amazing how they put up nice walls, put carpet down, put comfy seats in and made this area of the gym like a nice auditorium.  If we didn't know the school, we would have never known we were in the gym.  Everything was very nice!

I dropped Melissa and Jack off at home, and came home and worked on my blog.

My Nephew Mark and his wife Tuyen had their baby girl today.  She was 8 lbs. and very healthy.  So beautiful.  Pictures will be put on the blog tomorrow.

Wed., 11/1/23, Dr. appt., made veggie soup, went to Costco,

Kit Kat Loves the blankets I put down by her house.  Last night she slept in her house.  In the day time she lays on these blankets most of the time now.
Made veggie soup today

Jack in the blue shirt on the far left

Bill was supposed to have a doctor appt. this morning, but it was cancelled because the doctor called in sick.  I was going by when Bill would get up for his appt. so, it threw me off a little and I slept later than planned.  Still had lots of time to eat my oatmeal, drink my coffee and get ready for my 11 a.m. doctor appt.  Mine went well with her saying everything was great.  Those are the kind of appointments I like.  Got my flu shot there too.   It's time for a colonoscopy.  That was the only not so good news.  I don't like drinking that yucky stuff.  It's been a while so maybe it's better now.

When I got home, I made veggie soup while Bill blew off the deck and picked up leaves in the yard again.  It was cold and windy and only 28 degrees in the morning.  It didn't get out of the 30's.  Brrrrr!!!!

We ate some soup for supper, than decided to go to Costco to walk around.  We did get some vitamins and I found two pair of soft leggings for a great price.  We walked almost all of the aisles to get our steps.  Then we came home.  I put stuff away and then came in to sit down.  Bill had my electric throw turned on and nice and toasty for me.   So sweet of him.
