Dropped some stuff off at Salvation Army, picked up chicken sandwiches from Arby's and then went to Melissa's to pick her up for therapy.  While I was at her house she was using the walker and then needed to do something, so just stood without hanging on to anything for quite a long time.  I was amazed and so thankful to God.  She said she can fold her laundry and do other things standing without having to hold on all the time.  Made this momma very happy.  We went a half hour early to therapy because Matthew wanted to see us and his appointment ended at 1.  We were there and were in the parking lot, but never saw him.  Melissa didn't have her phone so I texted him and he said his dad was in a hurry for an appointment so they had to leave right away.  Kimmy called and said she was at my house, so I took Melissa down and dropped her off for her therapy and then left and went to my house.  Loved having Kimmy and the boys there. (Wyatt too)  They are so nice and such a joy to have around.  I heated Kimmy up a bowl of noodle soup and then we visited and had a nice time.  Bruce picked up Melissa for me since she got out at 3:30 and he picks the kids up from school and could get there pretty quick after that.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac stopped over and surprised us by having Kenzie with them.  What a great surprise.   Loved having everyone here.  Jacob, Kimmy and I played a game of 3-13.  I finally beat them.  Vikki and the kids left to go to the parade before they had the road closed.  Kimmy, Eli and I went to find a case for Eli's iPad Rody gave him.  We went to Ollies, but didn't see anything there so went to 5 Below and found a nice one. Eli was pretty excited and wanted to try it out right away. We got home and the kids picked up everything and they left for home.  Bill and I decided to go to Applebees since I didn't have anything out to thaw.  Had a nice dinner and then came home and watched a movie.  I got all of my motorcycle stuff ready for tomorrow morning's ride.

9/27/18...Got some of the attic stuff sorted and put away, Went on a motorcycle ride, and tried out our new helmets and headphones, Showed a movie tonight with Faith Riders at the Rescue Mission

Love the new helmet and love being able to take to Bill though our headphones. Put my sunshield down and my face shield down.  Love that it has both of those features.

Bill loves his helmet and headphones too

The workers didn't show up again today.  I called and Bob and he said his truck broke down.  I told him he could have called to let us know he wasn't coming.  I got some stuff sorted and put back in the attic.  Got our air conditioners put away too.  Went for a ride on the motorcycle to try out our new helmets and headphones.  The headphones were nice and love being able to hear the radio through them.  Nice to be able to talk to each other while we are riding. Went and picked up popcorn at Goodrich theaters. They gave us tons of it in a big bag.  Showed the movie "Courageous"  It was sure a great movie with a lot packed into it.  Loved it and so did all the guys that were there.  We had 13 come watch it tonight.  Always love going to the Rescue Mission.

9/26/18...Thought the workers were coming, but they didn't show up like they said. Took Melissa to therapy, Went over my lesson for my class, Took stuff and dropped it off at His Restoration, Taught my Class

Jacob texted me this picture today.  It is so beautiful!  I love how he sends me texts.  What a great kid he is!
Hailey....#4.  Way to Go Hailey!  Keep winning those games!
Hailey in the center
I got up early and got ready.  Bob said the guys would be hear to put grout in the shower where they missed a couple spots, but they didn't come.  I took Melissa to therapy at 8:15.  Came back home and got some stuff done around the house.  Picked Melissa up from therapy.  At 1:30 I went and picked Hailey up from school.  She volunteered in Sebewaing so those kids got to leave school when they got back at 1:30.  She washed windows inside and out for her job.  They ate at a Chinese restaurant, but she ate American....a hamburger.  Went to Salvation Army on my way home. I was looking for a leather jacket, but didn't find one.  After I got home, Lisa from His Restoration called me back, so I took the baby stuff Vikki Eddy had given me to donate there and dropped it off.  I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond and exchanged your soap dispenser because it leaked at the top.  Made chicken noodle soup and sandwich for lunch for us.  Went over m lesson again. Bill went to Hailey's game, but I couldn't because I had my class to teach.  He sent me his pictures though.  She and her team won both games.  They are doing great.  They played Hemlock tonight.  My class went great.  Love my kiddos.  No more surprise box this year because I am rotting teaching and only teach every 4th week.  Sure made it easier and the kids didn't even care when I told them.  That's the first thing they had asked me about.  Great kiddos! Sure seems funny not having and grandkids in my class this year.  Nice seeing Peyton and Isaac in Large group and in the hallway though.  Kathleen Cronin was my helper and did a great job.

9/25/18...Went to our breakfast, Came home and made chicken noodle soup, Melissa and Vikki Eddy came for lunch, Bill got our helmets hooked up so we can talk to each other, Went to Rescue Mission Dinner, Ron Wells was speaker

Ron Wells who wrote the book, Same Kind of Different As Me, was the speaker at the Rescue Mission Dinner tonight.  He did a great job.  I had just watched the movie for the second time a couple of nights ago.

Went to our breakfast at Sullivans.  There were nine of us there.  Came home and made chicken noodle soup and then went to Melissa's to pick her up and bring her to my house to have lunch with my best friend, Vikki Eddy and I. We had the soup and turkey sandwiches with bread I picked up from the Mennonite Store that was delicious.  We had a nice lunch and a wonderful visit.  She brought a gift for Melissa from her and Terry, Shane and Shannon.  Lots of cleaning supplies, lots of beautiful towels and a $50 gift certificate to Meijer's.  Melissa was so happy.  I gave Vikki the dryer balls Kimmy had made for her, and she was very happy.  She had a surprise bag and money for the dryer balls for Kimmy too. She brought some things for Vikki to use in her jewelry making and a fun flower punch out book for her and Peyton to do. Vikki left to go to her brothers at about 2.  I called her to tell her I forgot to give her a piece of pie and told her she could come back.  She was thinking it was going to take longer to get to her brothers house.  It was only 5 minutes away though and when she got there she had forgotten to give me some things she had for me and some bags to draw pictures on and color.  She came back and had her pie and stayed for a while longer to visit with us.  She sure is an amazing friend from the Lord to me.  Bill worked on putting our headsets in our new helmets for the motorcycle.  It will be great to be able to talk to each other while we are riding and also listen to music.  Vikki came with Peyton, Isaac and Evan and then she and Melissa went to visit , Lynn, a friend of ours in the hospital.  I watched the kids while they went.  They had a wonderful visit and came back and picked up the kids and left for home.  I got ready and went to the Rescue Mission Dinner.  Bill was supposed to go, but messed up on the dates and though he had something going on, so cancelled.  Then he found out he had the dates wrong and could have gone.  No more tickets at our table though so he stayed home.  We all had a great time and it's such a great cause.  I was happy the real life person, from the movie, Same Kind of Different as me was there.  I had just watched the movie for the second time.  Someone played his part in the movie, but at the end it showed the real people.  He had such a great story and lots of amazing things to share.  There were 9,000 people there and they streamed it also.  We had delicious food and fantastic dessert.  So nice to be there with such great friends.

9/24/18..Took Melissa to therapy, found screw in tire so got new tires, Went to Hailey's Volleyball game in Frankenmuth

Found this in my tire when I picked Melissa up to take her to therapy

Valley won both games
Went to Melissa's at 8 to take her to therapy.  When she was getting in the car, I saw a big screw in the tire.  I took her to therapy and then went to Discount Tire.  I called Bill because they measured the tread and said I needed new tires.  It was going to be two hours and I needed to pick up Melissa from therapy, so Bill came and waited for my car while I took his truck to Melissa's house and got her van to pick her up.  It would have been really hard to get her in the truck.  Bruce told me to take the van whenever I need it when I called him.  I picked Melissa up, and when we got to her house, Bill had dropped my car off and picked up his truck.  Yay, I love my car.  I took back some things I needed to return to Walmart, Hobby Lobby and Michaels.  Bill did lots of trimming in the back yard and mowed some of the grass. I picked up Max and Evan from school.   Bill had an elder's meeting at church and I finally got to go to Hailey's Volleyball game.  She and her team won both games and played great.  I got some great deals on candy bars at Krogers today, so took Bruce an Almond Joy and Melissa, Evan and I Milky Ways.  Watched a Hallmark Movie.

Went to church, Hailey and I went to Coco Loco's for lunch, Went to Walmart and covered the money collection while Bill took a break and checked on the guys at the other doors.

Hailey after our food came
Went to church.  They sang "This Is How I Fight My Battles" with words from Psalm 23.  Our worship was amazing.  Also Sang "I Will Trust In You" which was amazing too.  L.A. Joiner was there today and gave a wonderful message. We had a meeting for our Wednesday night teachers with Joan after service.  I picked Hailey up after church and we went for some Nana time to Coco Loco's.  She's been so busy with School, Volleyball Practice and games that I have been missing her.  Hailey got her usual Nacho Bell Grande and I got a fajita platter.  Their food is delicious there.
We had a fun time visiting and watching the soccer game on the TV.  We came back to my house and then she helped me take my pop cans in on the way to take her home.  What a fun granddaughter and very helpful too.  Went to Walmart after I took her home, so I could sit by the collection bucket for Bill while he took a break and checked on the guys collecting at Sam's Club and the other Walmart Door.  It got pretty warm and very sunny.  He came back to bring a pop and let me go to the car and get my sunglasses.  I left and went to get a small fan at Best Buy.  Watched the Movie, Same Kind of Different as Me.

We ate our oatmeal for breakfast and then Bill went to collect money for the Marine Corp League and I finished shampooing the carpet on the stairs.  I got ready and went and picked Max up for his appointment in Cass City.  We picked up Vikki and Peyton on our way.  Stopped at Tim Horton's and Vikki treated me to a French Vanilla Ice Capp.  I signed Max into his appointment and then Vikki, Peyton and I went to eat at Nick's Country Oven.  She had a Texas burger and onion rings which she said was the best burger she's ever had and I had the Turkey Slim Jim and Fries.  Peyton had breakfast.  We went to the Mennonite Store after that.  On our way, we saw a mennonite farmer with his horse, working in the field.  Peyton thought that's pretty cool to see.  We got to the store and it's always fun to walk through the store.  We both found a great round steak.  Happy I had a stay cold bag from Aldi's and an ice pack.
I got a few other things too and we each got a plastic little dish scraper.  Peyton got tic tags and one to take to Isaac.  Went and hung out at the park by where Max's appointment was after that.  We hung our hammocks up and relaxed while we watched Peyton play.  She came and got in Vikki's with her after she was done playing.   We had an hour before we had to go pick up Max.  After we picked him up, we went to Good Will in Caro.  We had fun looking, but didn't find anything.  Max tried on a banana costume.  Peyton tried on angel wings.
