4/30/17...Happy Birthday to Evan, Went to church, went to Olive Garden, went to see "Greater" (Movie Jessie Karls wrote an d directed)

Happy Birthday to my grandson, Evan.  I love you and I'm so thankful God gave you to us.  You are always so cute, silly and sweet.  You bring us so much joy!  Birthday hugs to you sweetie!

Melissa and Bruce made these cute treats for Evan's Birthday to take to his class.  The kids are going to love them.

Bill, in front of the Temple Theatre.  We went and saw the movie "Greater"

Went to church.  Vikki and her family went to Rody's mom's church and Melissa and her family went to Bethlehem to church.  Stacie wasn't at church either, so our row wasn't as full as usual. Gayla's Brother and his wife visited our church and sat behind us.  We had a nice visit with them.
After church, Bill asked if I wanted to go out to eat.  Of course I said yes.  We were trying to decide between Harvey's and Olive Garden and decided on Olive Garden.  We just got seated and noticed Debbie and Jeff Davis were sitting in the other dining room.  We asked them to come sit with us so they did.  They had discussed going to Harvey's too, but decided on Olive Garden.  We had a wonderful meal and visit.  After that we came home and I started putting our Faith Rider's newsletter for April together.  Bill fell asleep on the couch and then went to bed to nap better.  Kenzie messaged me and wanted to come visit.  She got here and brought her cat with her.  Her cat was really nice and did a lot of purring.  She showed me her hula hooping routine.  She is very good at it.  She's talented at whatever she does.  I gave her a book and calculator so she can study for her tests.  She had a grilled cheese sandwich, some salmon and some peanut butter with pretzels dipped in chocolate while she was here.  I invited her to go to the movie with us, but she got a phone call from Trevor and he was pretty upset about his cousin, Tanner that just died.  People at work were asking him about him.  Kenzie headed to his work instead of going with us.  We met Wes, Gayla, Melissa, Bruce and Hailey at the Temple Theatre.  Jessie Karls wrote and produced the movie, "Greater".  It was good and sure makes you think and see how great God is.  Greater is He that is in us than he that is in the world!!!  There were a couple of things they could have left out of the movie to make it better.  Loved that it was filmed in our town.  Neat to see all of the familiar buildings and places in it.  We ordered a DVD.  It was filmed right in our town so that was pretty cool.  A kid from our church, Joel Curry was in the movie and did a really good job.
