Cute gifts in the gift bag
We packed up most everything the last night, so we could go to the Lamplighter Restaurant this morning for breakfast. Our jacks wouldn't retract. Bill thought it was the gear box. We had a few CMA friends offer to stay and help us. There wasn't anything they could do. Dave, the maintenance man from BayShore, came and put two jacks underneath our camper so we could hook the truck up. We drove home and I called places to take it in on the way home. We prayed and had Melissa pray too, because we talked to her on the way. We decided to take it to Midland to the RV place on Airport Rd. He told us we needed to be there before 5:30. Bill backed it into our driveway and did a great job on the first try. We unpacked everything we needed to keep at home as we didn't know how long they would have to have it. Bill drove the trike out, then helped unload everything. We had it done in an hour, then headed to the RV place to drop it off. They brought out two jacks and lifted it so we could unhook the truck from the camper. We headed home as we needed to be at Vikki's for Peyton and Isaac's birthday dinner and celebration. She made yummy roast. We sure enjoyed eating that wonderful and delicious meal. Thank you Vikki. The kids opened their presents after we ate. They sure liked everything they got. Peyton asked if she could keep the stickers on the envelope I put her card in. She's so cute and loves stickers. We all took pictures with Kenzie, then she had to leave. We had cupcakes from the Patisserie and ice cream. it was yummy. We listened to Isaac play his box drum and guitar. It is amazing how he can figure out songs. Peyton was really wanting to put her lego set together. She started that right before we left. I am thankful for a day where things went wrong in the morning, but God was right there with us helping us through it. We are so blessed!
