We sat around and listened to Roz and Ron share about their lives
Went to Melissa for a couple of minutes.  Next I went to Jack's and got meat.  I made chicken in the crock pot and also sloppy joes for our potluck.  Everyone started coming around 6.  We ate yummy potato salad, pasta salad, veggie pizza, fruit, and cookies.  We were all sitting in the living room and Nancy got up and left the room.  I thought she was just going to the bathroom.  She had Meredith get me and so I went to check on her and she had been throwing up and was really weak.  I prayed over her and got her a cold washcloth, then got her husband so he could take her home.  We all prayed as a group for her while Randy was helping her get ready.  Felt so bad for her.  Sure was hoping it wasn't anything with the food.  Prayed no one else would get sick.  It was very nice getting to know our care group missionaries.  They are really close friends of Bill and Sabrina, some friends of our from Faith Riders.

10/8/16....Had our church outflow at Abortion Alternatives today! Saw where Vikki and I will be working the election

Good team work today

Vikki, Ryan, Sam, Linda and Amy!  I had Ryan in my Pioneer Class when he was a first grader.  He just moved and goes to the school Kimmy works at now.

This is the basement crew and our care group was the main floor crew!

Got up, got ready and headed to church to meet up with all the other care groups and head to Abortion Alternatives to help move them to another building.  It went really fast with all the help we had.  We had subway for lunch.  It was yummy.  We went to a building right across the street and moved lots of stuff there and then went to St. Peter and Pauls and moved lots of stuff in there.  That is the school Vikki and I will be working the election at so it was so nice to be able to see it ahead of time and know where we are going.  Had a great time working with everyone.  Roy and Marie were great helpers carrying stuff out and loading it.  Roy is 80 so he was pretty amazing.

10/6/16..The girls all came over today, Went to Bob Evans to see sister, Carol

Kimmy came over first, then Vikki got her and then Melissa.  We sat and visited while I tried to figure out a pattern to crochet at towel holder.  We had turkey sandwiches for lunch.  After we ate, Bill called to see if the girls and I wanted to come meet him and Carol at Bob Evans.  I told him we had already ate, but would come for dessert.  We headed there and were so happy to see Carol.  Bill helped look at a car with her she is buying.  He got some good deals for her.  I had coffee and banana bread.  The girls had french vanilla caps.  I gave Melissa one of my pieces of banana bread.
Came home and started cleaning the family room.  Went to our Faith Rider's officer's meeting at Wes and Gayla's.  Bill did great leading the meeting.

10/5/16...Kimmy and Vikki came over! Hailey's team won 2 out of 3games! YAY

My kiddos I teach.  Love that three of them are my grandkids!  Peyton,Isaac and Aleyiah

Me and Hailey after the game

Evan came to my house for a few minutes after the game and wanted to jump on the trampoline

Went to Sports Zone and walked 3 miles.  Came home and did some cleaning.  Kimmy and Vikki came over and then we all went to the park.  It was a very beautiful day.  I came home in case Sue wanted me to drive her to the dentist.  She has been real depressed.  I sure am praying for her.  She didn't need me to drive her son called to see where Vikki and Kimmy were so I could meet them.  They were almost to my house.  Vikki had to leave and then Kimmy and I helped Bill with the shingles for the little shed roof.  Kimmy left.  I finished helping dad for a while but then had to go to Hailey's game.  She did great and they won 2 out of 3 games.  Love how they have team spirit now and are so excited and cheering one another.  It was fun watching the game with Jack, Evan, Melissa and Bruce.  Max stayed home to do homework.  Brought Evan home with me to take to kids care groups.  He played a little at my house and then we went to class.  Everyone was there.  Peyton and Isaac were really happy to see me. Isaac's so cute.  Overtime I ask as question he raises he hand to answer.

10/4/16...They finished the roof today! I had so much fun with Max!

Jared the beekeeper.  Took this picture from Facebook.  His excellent honey is delicious!

Max was happy to go to the park and look for critters with Nana

Max found lots of frogs.  He caught one, but let it go.  He sure has good eyes to spot frogs and turtles.  He told me it's because he eats lots of carrots

It was a beautiful day to be walking through the park

Max was excited when he found this big turtle.  I thought it was a snapping turtle so I didn't let him touch it.

The end of our walk at the park

Max loved looking at the different birds and nests

He loved these pileated woodpeckers.  He knew most of the bird names

Got a picture of Mr. Eagle Eyes with the eagle

Max has grown a lot since he had his picture taken with this bear.  He didn't even remember seeing it before.

The roofers got here before we left for our breakfast which was 7:45.  Breakfast was good and there were  8 of us there.  Wes and Gayla weren't there as they had to take Joel to an eye dr. appt.
After breakfast, Bill and I went to fill both the car and truck and used our 70 cents off for up to 35 gal.  We got it for $1.46 a gallon.  Tonight Gas went up 23 cents.  Glad we got it before it went up.
Cooked squash and froze it today and cut up green peppers from the garden for the freezer.
Did some laundry.  Picked Max up after school.  We went to the park and had fun walking around.  He is really smart about birds, frogs and turtles and can spot them so easily.  It was 74 degrees and a beautiful day for a walk.  While we were walking and talking, all of a sudden Max came over to me and gave me the biggest sweetest hug.  After we left there, we went by my house and he saw the roofers on our roof.  We went to Sportszone to the Bird Museum.  He enjoyed seeing all the different birds and nests and other animals.  We had so much fun. We came to my house then and he played outside for a few minutes.  Then he came in and sat right down and did his homework.  He did a great job on it!
He memorized his scripture verse too.  He munched on some candy corn and candy pumpkins.  Next he wanted to watch the movie Homeward Bound 2.  He told papa all about his fun day when papa came in.  After the movie was over we went to his house.
Bruce had to take Jack to Med Express as he was having problems with his Asthma and cold.
They put him on steroids.  His teacher had given him treatments which was so good or otherwise he probably ended up in the ER.  We prayed and are so thankful he came home.

10/3/16...They started our roof this morning

Hansen's started doing our roof today!

Bill is doing a great job making his shed

View from the front!  It would make a cute outhouse, but no thanks!
Got up and got ready to go to my dentist appt. this morning and the doorbell rang at 8 a.m.  Good think I already had showered and did my hair.  I looked out and it was Hansen's here to start the roof. They had told Bill they would be here at 9:30.  I signed a paper and then moved my car to the back before the rest of the workers got here and the dumpster got here.  Went to my appointment and she said a root canal won't work because the tooth has short roots and will probably come out and it would just be a waste.  She was the nicest dentist and everyone else was so nice too.  She even had the periodontist next to her office come and look at the X-ray to see if he could help the tooth.
Got home and the roofers were busy, and Bill was busy with his project.  He started working on the moving box Wes gave him and is turning it into a nice little shed.  Vikki came over for a little while before she had to pick up the kids which was nice.  After she left, Bill and I went and picked up the camper.  All the hail damaged was fixed.  Awnings look great a vents are so bright and nice.
Came back and helped Bill put the plywood on one side of the roof of his shed.  Made salmon, baked potatoes and peas for dinner.  The guys worked on the roof until 9 p.m.  They wore headlamps.  Looks like they will put the shingles on tomorrow and then will be done.  They said they would be done for sure tomorrow.  They threw a piece of rotted plywood down and broke two aluminum siding pieces they will need to replace.  Good thing their company does siding too.
