We went to Church Alive in Standish.  Good message and very nice church.  Ate lunch and relaxed in our chairs.  Vikki relaxed in her hammock.  There are lots of hammocks up all over this year so they must have changed the rules. Yay!

We all went for a walk around the whole campground.  Went to the pavilion for ice cream.  The kids went on the hayride.  We warmed up hobo dinners for supper.  Bill went home so he could help the Marine Corp League with the parade tomorrow. Took Peyton and Isaac swimming at the outdoor pool.  Vikki and I just watched them.  They stayed in a long time even though it was cool out.  It’s heated but not enough for me yet. We came back to the camper and Vikki and I played 3-13 and dice while Rody relaxed. I won 3-13 and dice.

It started raining at midnight.  Rained til 7:30 a.m.  A few times it just poured and lightening lit up the sky.  I got up and put the awning in because it was getting windy.  Didn’t sleep to well because it got pretty noisy during the downpours.  By 7 a.m. Vikki was up and going to do laundry, and I went and took a shower.  Two more downpours while I was taking my shower.  It stopped by the time I got outside.  Wore my wonderful Muck boots around the campground and it sure was a good thing.  I wouldn’t have been able to get down the road though all that water and mud otherwise.  I just easily rinsed them off with the hose when I got back.  Lots of flooded campsites in the back.  We put all of our stuff in the clam to keep dry and had a dry campsite.  I thought of Kimmy lots and how easy she has made it for us with closing up and opening the Clam by sewing toggles on it, and putting clips on the tie downs.  Thanks Kimmy!

Nice day. A little cooler with a high of 61 degrees.  Made eggs, sausage and toast for breakfast.  We took a nice walk around the campground after we read our Bibles.  I went to get some groceries.  Bill got some wood and we unloaded it.  Then we decided to play two games of putt putt!  Bill won both games.  One by 2 points and the other by three.
We relaxed in our chairs and read.  Charlie and Sue took Melissa to therapy for me so I didn’t have to drive back to Sag.  Vikki, Peyton and Isaac got here around 12:45.  So happy to see them.  The kids rode around on their bikes right away.  So happy to get to talk to Kimmy and Melissa today too. Melissa and Bruce are going camping at BayShore for the holiday weekend.  Bill cooked barbecue chicken on the grill (plain for him) and potatoes.  We had corn on the cob too!  Yum!  Vikki washed the dishes and I dried them.  We went swimming in the indoor pool and sat in the hot tub.  Lots of kids were jumping, doing flips and breaking the rules.  Peyton and Isaac had fun swimming and following the rules. They sure are being good campers. We played 3-13 and Vikki won.  I was close and Bill was over 100.

Vikki and I played dice and she won that too.

We slept in til 7:45.  It started raining in the early morning and quit right after we had breakfast.  Glad I had my muck boots.  We sat outside and read for a while under the awning. Went for a nice walk around the campground.  Sat in the clam for a while.  Our neighbor came over to meet us.  We went to Northwoods and walked around. Bought toilet paper for the camper. We golfed two games.  Bill won both by 2 points.  Ate, watched Jeopardy and went for another walk around the campground. It was sunny all day and in the high 70’s.  Got pretty windy out so we put our awning in.  So thankful for an automatic one.

Bill walked, but I stayed home and put last minute stuff in the camper before it started raining.  Took my sweet Missy to therapy and came home put slide outs in and Bill hooked the camper up to the truck.  We got to the campground at 1:30.  Doesn’t take long to set up this camper!  So easy!  We went to the camp store to register.  They sure need to replenish their supplies.  Probably will before the weekend. We sat outside for a while and then went to Fergie’s for their great pizza.  It was delicious!  Went for a walk when we got back.  Happy to get my 10,000 steps.  Put the clam up.  Watched Jeopardy!  James is almost at 2 million dollars.  We played 3-13.  I won the first game going up the hill and was like -30 and Bill had over 120 points.  We started going down the hill and Melissa called.  She talked on speaker the whole game and I literally went downhill.  I threw two kings which were wild.  Bill missed both of them ha ha.  I started getting stuck with lots of points after that and he beat me. Yikes.  I tore the score sheet up because that’s what he does when he loses.

5/21/19... Breakfast at Sullivans, Got groceries, PTSD Ladies meeting, Packed, Hailey's Spring Concert

Evan and Bruce watching a rollercoaster ride

Celeste and Hailey Middle Row

We went to our breakfast.  Then I went to Melissa's for a visit afterward.  Got groceries and took them home, before going to VA to a PTSD Lady's Meeting for wives of servicemen with PTSD.
Biggest group of women they have had.  We are going through a book and discussing it.  Afterward we had pulled pork, pizza and cookies.  Came home after that and packed more in the camper.  Bill was packing stuff too and loading the front end with stuff he had taken out for the winter.
Made dinner and then went to Hailey's Spring Concert at the Heritage Theatre.  I am reminding her she performed on the same stage as For King and Country.  She and all the kids did a great job.  We waited to see her afterwards and congratulate her.  Melissa, Bruce and Evan sat next to us.  She was using her cane.  I guess she didn't think we were in a crowd. Ha Ha.  Bruce was helping her if she needed it though.  She did great.  Fun evening enjoying the music.  Got home and watched Jeopardy which I taped.

Bill and I walked 2 miles.  Bill helped Rich pick up some stuff at Lowes.  I ate and then started packing stuff on my camping list.  Did a couple loads of laundry too.  Bill wanted me to go visit Ken's (the 98 year old Marine in World War 2 being honored by the Marine Corp league and Ken Horn at the capital) wife.  She was so sweet. Lois is 92 and was standing with an 82 year old friend when we got there.  Bill asked her if she wanted to sit down and talk, but she said she was fine standing.  We were there quite a while and they stood the whole time.  What nice people.  So happy I got to meet them.  We went to Souper Cafe and had the half sandwich and soup.  Yum! Then we went to Mooney's for sundaes.  We went to Target and got Adam's birthday present and Bill exchanged some stuff he bought at Penney's.  Melissa called and said she had a hummingbird at her feeder.  Then it just sat on a branch for a long time.  So happy she is getting hummingbirds.  I have lots of orioles, but haven't seen a hummingbird yet.  Talked to Bruce and he and Jack just picked up their camper from our house.  Jack was looking all over for us.  Too bad we missed them.  We came home and watched Jeopardy.  Watched a Hallmark Movie.
