We got home and started the Kernel Burner...Felt great after such a cool day of riding

We met Mike, Bev, Jim, Greg, and Bill Smith at Tony's in Shields for Breakfast.  Their breakfast was huge!  We met everyone at Meijer at 10 am.  There were 10 motorcycles to start out.  Wes, Gayla, Bill Smith, Daryl, Mike, Bev, Jim, Greg, Don, Elaine, Bill and I were all riding.  Gayla and I were on the back of our hubby's motorcycles. Everyone else drove their bikes.  We stopped in Bay City at UNO's and Cheryl, Jim and Marsha joined us.  Two more bikes so now we had 12.  Three more riders so our total was 15 of us.  We stopped at Standish at McDonalds and most of us got hot coffee to warm us up.  We headed to Tawas after that.  We ate at Mangos and had delicious Mexican food.  We went to Lumberman's Monument after we left there. It was beautiful with lots of color their.  We took lots of pictures.  On our way home, we stopped in Pinconning at Purtell's to have dessert.  Bill had a hot fudge sundae and I had raspberry pie and ice cream. We rode home after that and were happy to get home.  We started a fire in the fireplace as soon as we got home, and Bill turned my electric throw on so it would be warm for me when I got in the living room.  He is so sweet!

Went to pick up Melissa for therapy.  I brought Max and Jack with me too.  Jack and I had Nana Time and Max and Bill had Papa Time.  We hung out at our house for a while and then Jack and I went to Coco Loco's.  When I got there, I realized I didn't bring my phone.  I was bummed, because I wanted pictures of Jack.  I told him that Papa might see it and surprise me and bring it to me.  I didn't really think so though, so I prayed he would.  I couldn't call him and that was frustrating.  In about 20 minutes, in comes Max with my phone.  I sure gave him a big hug, and I called Bill to tell him he was the best and how he was an answer to my prayer.  We got our food right after that and I got a nice picture of Jack with his food.  I was so happy to be able to capture our day of fun.  I cut my 1/2 Nacho order in half right away, because I know it is always so much I can't eat it all.  I put that aside for Hailey because I know she loves it.  Jack got chicken and rice and loved it.  He also loved the nacho chips and salsa they kept giving us.  We dropped off the chips and the food for Hailey.  She was very happy.  She sent me a text thanking me again after she ate.  I asked Jack if he wanted to let Evan eat the rest of his chicken and rice, but he said it was just too good to share.  He wanted to eat the rest of it.  Jack and I went to SportsZone to go to the Miller Empey Natural Science Room.  We had fun looking at all the different birds, animals and nests.  God's creation sure is amazing and detailed.  What a Designer!!!  Bill called and was at the Mall with Max.  They were looking at deals at Sears, since they are going out of business.  Boo Hoo!  They got home right after we did.  Max and Jack both went with me to pick Melissa up.  Melissa ate a Egg McMuffin and then we headed to get her blood test.  She got right in.  The boys were fun in the waiting room.  I sat in the middle of them.  We dropped Max and Melissa off, and Jack came back home with me and played with legos.  He made some pretty neat things.  I took Jack home at 6:30 and went in and talked to Hailey, Melissa and Evan for a few minutes.  Bill and I watched our first training DVD for leadership in CMA.  It was so good.

Thursday, 10/10/19, We worked in the yard, prepared for Faith Rider's Meeting, Went to dinner and meeting

We had our oatmeal for breakfast and did our Bible reading.  Dad had a VA appointment to pick up his two new free pair of shoes.  I balanced the checkbook while he was gone.  I also organized the worship sheets for our small group.  It was in the 70's, so we both started trimming plants down.  Bill used the electric trimmer for the real big ones and I used the old dull hand clippers for the small ones.  We both picked everything up together afterward.  Sure is a nice job to have done.  They were still green and pretty so I kind of hated to cut them down, but know cold weather is on the way.
I ran off my copies of our newsletter to take to the meeting and Bill got the agenda ready for everyone.  We went to the meeting.  Almost everyone rode their motorcycle but us.  We had 26 there and had our nominations for officers.  We have someone for every position so that is nice.  God sure provided.  Bill and I have to have others take our places because we will be State Reps.  Kevin is going to be president for Bill, Vicki Beemer is going to do the newsletter and pick up popcorn for the Rescue Mission Movie Night for me, and Isaac is going to be the Web Master for me.  I just need to train them how.  Such a great meeting.  Bill did a great job leading it.The people who went on the Lake Superior Ride shared about their trip.  Sounded like so much fun.  Next year we are doing a Lake Huron ride.  Vicki Beemer brought banana split dessert for everyone to have.

Beautiful drive to Kimmy's

Kimmy and Jared are doing an amazing job on their living room ....It looks so beautiful!  Paint is a great color and the woodwork and trim is so nice.  Felt like I was in a home done by Chip and Joanna.

Look at the woodwork around the window Jared and Adam did

Wyatt was such a good doggie....he sure was happy to see me and I was happy to see him

Lyra's friend, Lyra and Eli

Did my devotions and Bible reading and then got ready to go to Kimmy's. Messaged back and forth with Kenzie for a while.  I was thinking of messaging her and she messaged me first.  I was so happy to hear from her.  I told her I had to leave to go to Aunt Kimmy's.  She was wishing she could go.  What great hours Kimmy has at work now.  Nice that we can get together for visits this year.  I picked us up turkey subs at Subway.  The drive there was beautiful with all of the trees starting to change.  Kimmy and Wyatt were on the porch to greet me when I got there.  How nice to see them. We went in the house and the living room and hallway look so beautiful.  They sure picked a good color (Spun Wool) out.  Kind of an appropriate name too! We ate our sandwiches and then Kimmy made us each a coffee, and we sat down and relaxed.  Their new little table stand is really nice.  I was in my chair and leaned over to look at Kimmy's computer and almost tipped over in my chair.  Sure am glad I caught myself, because I would have hit our coffee mugs on the table and they would have tipped and spilled coffee on the computer.  That was close!  We went for a walk outside.  It was in the high 60's and sunny out.  We walked through their woods several times, looking at the plants and the moss.  It smelled so good out there.  It was so good to visit with Kimmy and get exercise at the same time.  We picked the boys up from school.  I was so excited to see them.  I got my hugs, and then Adam and Eli rode with me to McDonalds, and Jacob rode with Kimmy.  Kimmy told me that's what they would pick, so they could both ride in the front seat.  She sure knows her boys.  I had the boys order whatever they wanted.  They were so happy.  I had so much fun with Kimmy and the boys.  Eli was the only one small enough to play in the play land.  The rest of us played with the light up table.  We were happy when Jared came and had a shake with us.  He had to take Jacob to an eye appointment afterward.  We took Eli and Adam to Plymouth Park.  Such a beautiful park.  Kimmy and I walked around the playground while the boys played.  A little girl came and stood in front of me and held her arms open for a hug from me.  I realized it was Lyra, who had been in my Sunday School class.  She was always such a sweetie!  I saw her mom sitting at a picnic table when Kimmy was walking to the bathroom.  I had planned on catching up with steps while Kimmy was gone, but ended up talking to Lyra's mom instead.  They moved to Midland.  Kimmy and I walked more after she came back.  When we got around again, we saw Lyra, her friend, and Eli up in the tree.   Eli sure makes friends easily.  Kimmy and the boys headed off to Adam's soccer practice, and I headed home.  I talked to Bill on the phone, and he had me stop at Tony's and get him a steak sandwich.  Bill had the laundry all done and put away when I got home.  What a great surprise.  It sure was a fun day with family.  I am blessed!

Tuesday,10/8/19..went to our breakfast, Melissa and I went to Sam's Club and The new Home store, Had Small group

We went to Breakfast at Sullivans.  Merijo was in town so she came which was very nice. After breakfast I picked Melissa up and we went to Sam's Club and then went to the Home Store that opened a couple of weeks ago.  We went to Tim Horton's on our way back to her house and had a donut and Capp. and Mocha.  We had a nice time visiting too.  Peyton called me to let me know she didn't cry when she got her flu shot today.  Isaac didn't either.  Vikki just jumped when she got her poke.  Three people called and can't come to small group tonight.  One was bringing the snack, so Bill called and asked if I wanted him to pick up something.  He brought home Hickory Stick from Jack's, crackers and two packs of cookies.  He must have been having a cookie attack ha ha.  Small group went well.  Lots of good discussion. Love our small group.

Monday, 10/7/19 Put my nice lightweight hoses away, put yard decorations away, went to Trinity Riders meeting.

Monday, 10/7/19 Put my nice lightweight hoses away, put yard decorations away, went to Trinity Riders meeting. three miles. Did daily Bible reading , prayer and devotion. Washed king size down blanket and towels and hung outside. Beautiful sunny day in the mid 60’s.  Put all my outside yard decorations away and also my lightweight hoses.  Talked to all three of my sweet daughters today.  I’m so thankful for each of them.  Bill and I went to Ponderosa for dinner and the meeting for Trinity Riders. It was nice to see everyone.  Sad to hear from Bob Burpee there that his brother, Rick, who did most of the work on our bathroom, is no longer able to work.  He is on oxygen and also has scar tissue in his heart so 40% of is heart isn't working. They took up an offering for him.  We are praying for him!  He was our favorite worker.

Sunday, 10/6//19...Went to church, taught Sunday School, had Peyton and Isaac after church,

Peyton and Isaac with all the sticks they picked up out of our yard.  They sure were great workers!

Peyton and Isaac

They had fun drawing and doing the games on their placemat.  Peyton and I kept taking turns drawing things to go with our barns and her sheet was totally full when we got done.

Vikki and Rody came, so Peyton and Isaac moved to the counter.  They were so good sitting by themselves.

Went to church.  I went early to get my classroom ready.  Then I went in to our pre prayer room.  Amazing prayer time.  Melissa and her family were there and so was Vikki and her family.  We all sat together.  After service, Melissa picked up Peyton and Isaac and brought them to my classroom. Melissa looked so cute today in her beautiful outfit.  After all my kids were picked up by their parents, we left for home.  Vikki and Rody were at the membership class at church, so the kids came home with us.  Papa got the wagon for the kids out and they picked up all of our many sticks in the yard.  They were such a great help.  We went to Bob Evan's for lunch.  The kids and Bill had breakfasts, and I had a chicken pot pie.  Yum!  Vikki called and was done for class and was at our house.  We had them come meet us at Bob Evans and they had lunch with us.  We walked through Art Van after that.  Came home and spent a relaxing day with Bill.
