Started going through old pictures to get them organized.  Melissa's kids and Vikki's kids didn't have school because of icy roads. It was so windy and cold this morning.  Our road was a sheet of ice from the wind blowing the snow across the road.  I picked up Hailey and took pictures of the boys when I went in.  Evan was so sweet, and shoveled the sidewalk and then shoveled almost the whole driveway for me.  He heard I was coming.  That was so sweet of him.  My feet sure stayed dry.  Sure love that sweetie! Hailey and I went to Coco Loco's for lunch..  We had such a nice time talking and enjoyed the yummy food.  We tried to call Kimmy, but she didn't answer, so I sent her a text.  Hailey really wanted to go to her house to see the new lambs and, of course, Aunt Kimmy too!  We went to Penney's and walked around after we ate so we could pass time and see if Kimmy would call us back.  We took pop cans at Meijer's.  There bottle and can return is our favorite.  We were heading to take Hailey home, when Kimmy called.  After we finished talking, we headed to see Kimmy and the lambs.  We had fun and took lots of pictures.
Hailey hadn't been there since Kimmy and Jared did all the work on the house, so she loved seeing the changes.  We stayed for a little while, then we left and I dropped Hailey off to spend time with some of her friends in Saginaw.  What a fun day with her.  I came home, took a short nap, and then Bill and I went to the Rescue Mission.  Wes, Gayla and Isaac were there from Faith Riders too.  We showed the movie Overcomer.  Small group tonight but the ones that were there liked the movie.

Wed., 2/26/2020...Walked, Melissa had therapy, Made another yummy meal in air roaster

Chicken, potatoes, carrots, green peppers in teriyaki sauce air roasting

Bill eating

It turned out delicious...nice and browned and tender

It was snowy and slippery out this morning.  Bill and Charlie went to Caro to pick up baked goods from a friend's church.  An Amish lady bakes stuff to sell.  They called and were told it was still ok to come, but when they got there no one was there.  He called the person again, but didn't get any explanation.  Caro got lots more snow than we did...would have been nice if they would have gotten a call to turn around because no one would be there.  I took Melissa to therapy.  My car almost slid into Midland Rd when it wouldn't stop.  Thank you Lord it did stop in time.  I came home and walked 2 1/4 miles.  Bill got home safely.  We pulled our refrigerator out and cleaned behind it and under it.  Read my Bible and did my devotion.  Made a new recipe in the air roaster.
I used my chopper and cut up carrots, potatoes, then put cut up chicken and green peppers in it and stirred in Teriyaki sauce in it.  Put it in the air roaster for 30 minutes and it all came out browned and delicious.  Cleanup is so quick.  We both read on our books in the evening.

Eli playing the clarinet for me.  He did great even thought it had a broken reed

Went to Kimmy's and hung out with her.  She was just coming from the barn.  A lamb was just born.  I went back out with her and she had me help her.  I held the momma sheep, while she pumped colostrum to give to her baby.  She put a tube in and then I used the syringe to put it down the tube.  Kimmy had me fill the syringe with the rest of the colostrum and I accidentally pulled the end out too far and got squirted with the colostrum.  Kimmy had a good laugh.  Kimmy tried to teach the lamb how to nurse herself.  We went in the house after that.  Her new refrigerator looks great.  Her house looked amazing.  They worked so hard and it is so beautiful now. We visited and drank our coffee.  We picked the boys up from school when they got out, and went to McDonalds.  Jacob showed us how to order on the screen.   We ate and had fun with the light up table.  Jared came when he got out of work and had a hot fudge sundae.  Adam drove with Jared, and the rest of us went with Kimmy.  We stopped at Kohl's and then went to Kimmy's.  Eli played the clarinet for me.  Jacob has been teaching him how to play.  He did great, even though the clarinet had a broken reed.  Another talented musician in the family!  What a fun day it was!

Peyton and Isaac

We went to church and Bill prayed with Pastor Ken, and I went in the prayer room to pray with the prayer team.  Worship was really good and the message was great.  When we went up to pray with people, Tony a young man who works at Dow, came up and when I asked him if he wanted to rededicate his life to the Lord he said yes.  I was honored to lead him in prayer to do this.  Pastor's message really moved his heart today.  He had been here once a long time ago, and came again today for the second time.  The Holy Spirit really touched him in an amazing way.  Vikki was back in the nursery taking care of Thomas today.  Such a good ministry to be helping with.  Diane and James wanted us to go to Olive Garden after church.  When we met them there, Randy and Anna were just ordering, so they moved to a big table with us.  They are leaving for Florida for a month on Tuesday, so we enjoyed having a nice visit before they go.  We left there and went to Caro for
Thumbs Up for Christ's chapter meeting.  They had lots of food there, but we didn't eat because we were full.  The meeting went really well, and we were blessed to have Arnie, Cheryl, Elaine, Mike, and Don from Faith Riders, and Jim from the Flint Chapter.  At the end, Bill did have a piece of apple pie, and then a little later, Elaine and I split a cinnamon roll that an Amish lady who stopped in made.  It was delicious!  Bill went and got one after we had ours. It was a beautiful day for a ride, sunny and close to 50  degrees.  We stopped at Vikki and Rody's when we got back so I could pick up the flash drive from him that I gave him in church.  He converted the Faith Riders Newsletter to Microsoft Word so Vicki B. can open it on her computer and do the newsletter from now on.  The kids were outside playing and were so cute.  We got our hugs hello and our hugs goodbye.  Such sweeties!  Kimmy sent me pictures of her new refrigerator.  It is beautiful and looks so nice in her newly remodeled kitchen.

Walked on the treadmill for a mile and then a mile the regular way. Bill went to the Marine Corp. League Breakfast.  We went to Castaways for lunch with Trinity Riders and Faith Riders.  There were 30 of us there.  The food was really good and they gave you tons of it.  After we were done, we went for a ride by the Bay.  It was so nice out, in the 40's and sunny and beautiful.  Then we went to meet Kimmy, Jared and the boys at Lowes.  They are getting a refrigerator and we thought they could use Bill's military discount.  It would have taken the price below cost, so it didn't work out.  We all went to Culver's afterward for ice cream.  Love spending time with my precious family.  I am blessed!
Bill and I watched a Christian Movie when we got home.  Talked to Vikki lots today!  Peyton had a playdate with Diamond and Vikki visited with her mom.  The girls had fun playing and Vikki enjoyed visiting with her mom.  They had a lot in common they found out.  So happy they have Christian friends.

Got to Melissa's by 8:30 as she had therapy early.  I came home and prayed and did my Bible reading and study.  Before I picked Melissa up, I went to Aldi's and then to Penney's to walk around.  After I picked Melissa up, we picked up burgers from Tony's and ate them at her house.  I came home and read on my book some, then went to pick Evan up from school.  Stopped at Vikki's for a minute and then took Evan home.  I met Bill at Kroger's and he filled both of our vehicles with gas.  We got a dollar off 35 gallons so that was nice.  I went to pick Hailey up.  Brianna came with us to because they had Pep Band later.  I made the pizza recipe in the Foodi book.  It turned our really good and only took 12 minutes to bake.  Preheat time for it is only like 45 seconds.  We watched the news, Jeopardy, and Wheel of fortune and then played 3-13.  He was the big winner.  We sure had fun.  Read more on my book.

Love this sign above the door that Vikki and family got me
Walked two miles this morning.  Washed the treadmill all down so it's nice and clean.  Met Lisa and Anna at Olive Garden for lunch.  We had such a nice visit and the food was good too.  Anna leaves for Florida for a month on Tuesday.  It was super cold today with a high of 21 degrees, but at least it was sunny out.  I am so looking forward to tomorrow and a high in the mid 30's and sunny.  Then Sat and Sunday in the 40's and sunny too.  I made salmon in the Ninja Foodi tonight.  It took 12 minutes on air roast.  I love this thing and can't wait to try new recipes.  In the evening, we went to help residents with Bingo at Community Village.  One of the ladies that plays all on her own is 100 and as sharp as can be.  They look forward to us coming and we look forward to going there each month.  Afterward, we went to Tim Horton's with Wes and Gayla and had coffee and ice cream.
