My paper whites have four blossoms now. It is tied up with yarn so it doesn't fall over.
I got up early to read my Bible and pray. That was before I read my text from Bill's sister Debbie saying she was very sick and in the hospital. Then I started praying right away for her, and let her brothers and sisters know so they could pray too. I talked to Melissa and we had a good talk and were thankful for how God always answers your prayers even though maybe in the way we think He will. Many prayer requests on our CMA prayer line today too. It was a praying and believing day. We had a black squirrel appear today and it just wanted to hang on our supposedly squirrel proof feeder and not even budge when I opened the door and yelled. Kit Kat was sitting under the feeder watching it, and boy did I scare her. It took me a while to get her to come out from under the deck. I had to shake her treats to entice her. She stayed outside all day and only came in once for her soft cat food in the morning and twice for some TLC. I gave her some leftovers outside today too. She wanted to come in and see me, more than she wanted those warmed up leftovers. I can tell she knows this is home now. She is always looking in a window if she see's me move inside. At 2, Bill went for his first injection in his neck. I went with him because I had to drive him home. I had to wait outside. They said it would be an hour, so Bill told me to go somewhere. I went to Penney's to shop, but I was antsy to get back so I would be there when they called. I found two pair of nice gloves for $2.50 at Penneys, so was happy about that good sale. Finally after 1 and 1/2 hours, I got the call to drive up and pick him up. He looked great and wanted to go to Coco Loco. He told me to call Hailey to see if she wanted to meet us there, since we always think of her now when we go there. That's all of our favorite Mexican place to eat. We had a fun time and the food was great. We all took leftovers home. I texted with Adam when I got home and texted with Hailey. Adam wants to come spend the night. Papa and I are sure excited about that. Such a nice and welcome surprise. Talked with Vikki a couple of times today when she called to check on her dad and also offered for me to come there if he was having it done at the VA. He wasn't so that didn't work out, but it is nice to be wanted. Tranquil Pottery is selling lots and there are so many great 5 star reviews for Kimmy and Jared's quality and unique pottery. I love checking on it each day. Kimmy, Jared, Eli and Adam came here. Jacob was in band practice. They stayed and visited for a while. Eli brought Kit Kat in for a while and gave her attention. Adam was excited because he got his new apple watch. Eli is happy because he gets Adam's fitbit. They left to go pick up Jacob, then Adam, Bill and I had ice cream and played 3-13. Bill won so he had to pick up. Then we played a short game of Skip-Bo. Adam won that game and he had to pick up. For some reason I didn't have to pick up at all. We watched God's Not Dead 4 with Adam. We didn't even know there was a 4th one. Adam is so fun to have over. Still watching the movie, but had this all done except the picture of Bill and Adam and what we did once he got here. |

Kit Kat when I gave her some warm leftovers Had our oatmeal and coffee for breakfast, then did our Bible reading. Today it was so nice out, Kit Kat spent the whole day outside. I did have to rescue her twice when she climbed the tree by the back deck. I called her and I could hear her meowing. She was trying to get down to me, but there were so many small branches, she got kind of stuck. I bent the branch down and grabbed her. If she goes up there again, she's going to have to figure her own way down. Went to Melissa's and saw her and the boys and took them something for their trip. We talked with Max, Jack, Evan and Melissa for a few minutes, then papa threw a snowball at Jack and Evan. When they went to get him back, he jumped in your car. They waited , but he wouldn't get out of the car. Then they had to get back to their school work, so headed back in the house. Papa got out and threw a snowball at Jack in the garage. He is such a mischievous little boy in an older man's body ha ha. We stopped at Kroger and got decaf coffee as we were almost out. Came home and relaxed for a while, then I dropped off my CMA spring jacket and Bill's vest to Barb B. She is in Faith Riders and is a great seamstress and is going to put new zippers in for us. Her sewing room was amazing and so organized. I need to take lessons on her organization skills. We had a nice visit, then I left and headed to drop off a few things we forgot at Melissa's. We took her card holders, a face mask I fixed that I have had for quite a while, and the puzzle with all of the minecraft faces. Bill ordered that online for her and Evan as a surprise. They love puzzles. I told her now she knows how much her dad loves her lol. She was actually very excited to have it. Melissa and I had a good time talking, then Bruce came out and joined us. I am so thankful for those two blessings in my life. I came home, ate and watched a movie, while Bill went to the Marine Corp. Leave meeting. The movie was a good movie about a girl getting saved and the important role her grandma played in her life, but there was too much loss and heartache in it for me to really enjoy it even though the ending was great. I watched Wheel of Fortune and then Bill got home. I talked to Vikki about switching with someone for Sunday School this Sunday, because I didn't think she saw the message. She didn't, so she texted Sara to let her know she could switch Sundays if needed.
Evan wanted me to see where Abby fell asleep...right in his school work basket ...such a silly dog.

Happy Birthday Jared! We love you and we are so thankful God gave you to us as family. What a great world it would be if everyone was as kind and caring as you are, plus you are tons of fun too!
My good find at Aldi today....slippers with thick soles, nice and warm and only 9.99. I needed some so I can wear them when I go out in the garage which is often with Kit Kat out there right now. My other ones wore out and have large holes around the soles. Not my favorite color, but the last pair in my size.

I went and picked up my glasses. I couldn't believe the difference in seeing all the frames along the wall. The girl brought out my glasses and she really liked them. I was happy they are nice. I was a little worried about what I picked out ha ha. I got home and was greeted by Kit Kat. I went upstairs and got Bill's card and gift ready. I heard him come home, then saw that he was at the table filling out his card for me. When we were ready, we exchanged gifts and cards. He had put some funny stuff in the card and in the gift box. He took a video and we sure did lots of laughing. I gave him a Texas Roadhouse gift card (our favorite restaurant), a smart plug, and his favorite Chocolate Marshmallow cookies. He gave me beautiful roses, and a double necklace that is beautiful. We went to Texas Roadhouse at 3:15 and ate. We only had to wait a few minutes. By the time we left there was an hour and a half wait. We had a nice corner booth that was cozy and private. The steaks were tender and delicious, and the salad, rolls and huge baked potatoes were YUM! He took my car though the car wash which I really appreciated. We picked up some bird seed at Jacks, then headed home to our recliners. Going to watch a movie.
