Jacob lighting his candles.  He would do great and then when he would blow out the match, he would blow out lots of candles.  So cute and funny.

The candles are lit and we are singing!

He sure knows how to blow out the candles...Looks like he has lots of help from his cute brothers.

This 10 year old is so special to our hearts!

Time to open his present!  Adam was being silly as you can see!

Love this picture!

They have been well trained to read the card first!  So sweet.
The papers are flying and the gift is coming out.

Jacob looks so handsome in his shirt!

He stared putting his legos together right away.

Didn't take him long and he had it mostly built

This is what I found in the woods while planting the plants Kimmy and Jared gave me.  There are two like this.  Beautiful.

The garden is planted and the fence is up.  Now Bill and I are cleaning up and heading to Jacob's party.  My pictures are out of order.

The garden from the other view.
Isaac with Mother Goose.  This was a cute shop we went into while we were looking for the yarn shop.

Jacob getting ready to light his candles!

Got up at 6 to wake Kenzie up.  Got ready to go to Sports Zone while she got ready for school.  After she left, I headed over to Sports Zone.  Bill, Charlie, Tony and and another guy were playing Euchre there.  They had already walked.  I walked 3 miles at a fast pace, then left for home.  Called Vikki to see if she wanted to go to the yarn shop in Bay City to spend a gift certificate I got at an auction and get yarn for her to knit slippers for Hannah's shower gift Saturday.  We got there and parked in back and walked to the front.  The store we went in was so cute and had unique stuff in it.  It was not the yarn store though, but at the back the lady showed me the door to get there.  So funny because it was really close to where we parked.  After we got the yarn, we decided to walk the rail trail along the river.  It was so nice other than all the goose poop all over.  We had to really try not to step in it.  We walked 2 1/2 miles and then went to the playground and had a granola bar while the kids played.  We left and went to Subway to eat and then to two thrift stores looking for a hoe for Vikki.  Got home and Bill and I planted the garden and put the fence around it.  We came in and I washed up and Bill took a shower.  Then we headed over to Kimmy and Jared's to celebrate Jacob's 10th birthday.  He is such a sweet and caring grandson.  Thanking God for him today and celebrating the gift from God he is.  So much fun at his party.  We did lots of walking through the woods and around the farm.  Vikki and I are in a competition today...ha ha.  I am pooped out from all these steps today.  We ate burgers and hot dogs that Jared grilled and they were very yummy.  Then we walked some more and then came in and had cake and ice cream. It was delicious white cake that we all loved.  We went outside and walked some more and then we went out on the deck and Jacob opened his present.  It was mine craft legos and he had them almost all put together by the time we left.  The boys were all lots of fun and gave great hugs...but Jacob's hug was the longest!  Happy Birthday to my Boy!

Vikki and dad working on the bolts of the basketball hoop

.kk,
Peyton and Isaac

Peyton loved going in the trailer.

Bill tilling up a spot for Vikki's garden.  He's such a good daddy!

Went to our weekly breakfast.  There were quite a few there today.  After breakfast Bill had a VA appt. so he took me to Vikki's to walk with her.  We walked for 45 minutes and then went back to her house and drank a cup of coffee.  Peyton showed me her shiner she got when she was playing with Kenzie.  Vikki showed Bill where she wanted he garden.  We left there and headed to Boehler's to get our plants and garden stuff.  We came home and I planted the flowers.  The garden was a little too wet and Kenzie had to work.  She is going to help us if it works out with her schedule.  It was so humid out, I was sweating while planting the flowers.  I took a little walk down the road and then saw Bill was home so came back.  We loaded the Rototiller and basketball hoop and went to Vikki's for dad to till her garden and set up the basketball hoop.  Kenzie left for work.  We came home and I started fixing dinner.  Vikki called so I rode with her to pick up the fencing she got off Craig's list.  We had lots of laughs.  Came home and worked on the Newsletter for Faith Riders.  Kenzie got here at about 8:15 and is spending the night.  Loved having my fit bit Bill got me yesterday to keep track of my food, water, steps, etc.  So much fun!  Vikki and I have a challenge tomorrow.

Happy Memorial Day!!! Thank you to all of our fallen soldiers and all of the brave people who have served in the military.

Three siblings having fun on the slide at Outdoor Adventures

Happy landings!

Fun with Jacob, Adam, Mykenzie, Isaac and Peyton in the pool.  Fun with Eli too but I goofed and took the picture before Eli was in the pool evidently.
Sleeping Beauty!  I guess swimming must have tuckered her out!

Went to Sports Zone and walked a mile, then Bill came up and walked with me to finish his laps.  I also did chest compressions and total abdominal machines.  On my way home, I called Kimmy to see what was going on for the day, and she said they were planning on going to Outdoor Adventures to swim for the day and so was Vikki.  I decided to go too. Bill didn't want to go.  I called Melissa and they couldn't go either.  I came home, packed grapes, a banana, cheetos, my water bottle, and put my swimming suit on.  I stopped in Pinioning to get a sub sandwich because they were taking lunches with them.  Vikki and the kids were the first to get there, I got there next and then Kimmy and family.  The kids were at the playground and Isaac came running to give me a hug.  Next Peyton called me over and gave me a hug.  I had to get that 3rd kiddo (Kenzie) going to give me her hug.  Vikki was quicker than her.  Kenzie wanted to swim while Vikki waited for Kimmy so I went with her.  We got in the pool and then in the Jacuzzi.  We looked up and saw Vikki signaling us through the window that they were going to eat.  Yikes!  That meant Kenzie and I had to change our wet suits to go out to the main room.  We did and shared my towel because she didn't have hers with her, it was in her mom's bag.  Went out and got hugs from Adam and Eli.  Jacob was in the van.  He gave me a big hug in the pool when he came in.  We swam for a long time and had lots of fun other than Kenzie swimming under my legs and picking me up on her shoulders and bringing big nana out of the water for all to see.  That stinker.  Such fun grandkids and kids!  Great day!  I left when I saw it was pouring outside and they were still in the water.  I wanted to get home to Bill, but I'm sure glad I went.  Bill got me a Fitbit today.  So excited to use it tomorrow.  It took me a while, but I got it set up finally and synced to my phone.  I lost the battery when I first started.  It fell down the chair.  Bill and I turned the chair upside down, sideways one way and then the other.  We looked everywhere with our flashlights, but couldn't find it.  I was praying and I asked Vikki to pray.  We finally gave up and sat the chair upright.  I checked one more time down the side where I dropped it and moved my hand forward and out it popped. Sure did thank the Lord.  I moved to the table after that.
