After breakfast, I read my Bible. Vikki played the Bible on her phone so Peyton and Isaac could listen. It rained in the morning so we just hung out in the camper. Kimmy called and was getting close, so I put my rain coat on and drive to run her the parking pass. It was pouring, but let up by the time I got to Kimmy. Jack and Eli came and Jack got in my car and Eli ran the pass to Kimmy for me, then Eli came to ride with me. Eli and Jack went around the campground on their bikes. They got a little muddy. Kimmy, Jack, Peyton and I went for a walk around the campground. When we got back, we ate chicken salad sandwiches. A couple kids had peanut butter and jelly. We took the kids to the beach to swim while we visited. Jared called Kimmy and told her he was in a bad accident. He was so sad and pretty shook up, but praise God he was Ok and so was the family he hit. Of course we prayed right away. We were all pretty shook too, so concerned about Jared and what he was going through. The other vehicle was totaled and Jared thought his car was, but when the wrecker guy got there he didn’t think so. We did pray that it wasn’t and could be fixed. The people he hit were so nice and kept asking Jared if he was ok. They came and prayed for him and all gave him hugs, even the little boy. God sure let Jared know He was with him which sure gave us all peace. Kimmy got there and took pictures of the wrecked van. Kimmy and Jared went and looked at their car and took pictures of it. Kimmy took Jared home, then she took Jacob to his practice. She shopped with her Kohls cash while she waited and talked to us on the phone. Vikki and Peyton went to get milk and some other things . The boys came in and told me about the family of raccoons that moved in along the inside of the roof of the pavilion. A kid was yelling and bothering the raccoons, so the boys got a worker and he took care of the matter and thanked Jack and Eli.
They helped Vikki with the groceries when she got back. Then they went out and played with the light sabers. Kimmy called us when she got home. Jared was getting a little sore so praying it doesn’t get worse. We are so very thankful to God that he didn’t get hurt badly or killed. It could have been a whole lot worse. We sure all love our Jared!!!
Peyton and I played 3-13. She played great and paid attention to when it was her turn. We have to play the last hand tomorrow. The boys ate cereal. We all went to bed after that.
