10/30/16...Went to church, came home and had a nice day of rest andthen went to church for an amazing worship service!

Had A great service at church.  Came home and warmed up our chicken/rice stir fry.  We just relaxed after that.  Bill napped and I watched a show on the Christian channel.  We went to a worship service at church in the evening.  It was amazing!  We are so blessed!  Both worship teams led worship together.  Rody did the sound board and did a great job!

Isaac is our boy today and tonight

Made chicken stir fry tonight.  Isaac said he loved the smell and it was his favorite food.  When it came time to eat though, he asked me if he could have a peanut butter and jelly sandwich.  Of course, since I'm Nana I said yes

Went to meet everyone to clean at 9:45.  Two people called and couldn't make it so we were very happy when Vicky Eagle who hadn't signed up to help showed up.  We car pooled to the trailer and Ann was there to show us what we needed to do.  She is in her 80's and runs His Restoration which helps moms with babies have a place to stay.  They help them find jobs, get them to church and minister to the mom and baby with lots of love.  We all started cleaning everything really good.  It took us 2 hours.  There is a mom and baby who will be moving in shortly.  After we finished, most of us went to Coney Dawg for hot dogs.  They were yummy.  Came home and changed and put cleaning supplies away and then went to Kroger's to get ingredients for the stir fry Dennis made last night.  Went and picked Isaac up afterwards.  While I cooked dinner, Papa took Isaac out to jump on the trampoline and swing.  Isaac came in and played with the cars after that.  Then he wanted to watch Curious George.  I got a call from Kenzie and her car wouldn't start so she needed me to come get her and take her to Midland to drop the key off at her work and then take her back to Bay City.  I didn't really want to because of Isaac being there, but she couldn't find anyone else so I did.  Papa and Isaac had fun together.  I was happy to get back home.  I went to get his pjs out and realized there weren't any.  I called Vikki and she hadn't heard me say he was going to spend the night.  We improvised because he really wanted to spend the night and we really wanted him to.  He was such a very good boy.  Sure love having him.

10/28/16...Went to Kenzie's to see her new place, Went to Amy and Dennis Ward's, Isaac lost his first tooth

Cleaned out stuff in the upstairs bedroom and cleaned one closet upstairs.  Kenzie called me and wanted me to come see her new place.  I went and spent a little while with her.  Had to be home to go to Dennis and Amy's by 6.  Dennis cooked ginger chicken for us!  We put it over rice and it was delicious.  Amy made a banana pudding poke cake that was really yummy.  We played cards with them.  Played a game called Horse Collar.  It was lots of fun.  Amy won both games.  Isaac faceted us there to show us his tooth that came out.  So cute.  They thought it was so sweet that he would FaceTime us to show us his tooth.  Came home and watched the World Series Game.  

10/27/16...Spent time with Hailey today

Cleaned my side of the closet today.  Bill cleaned his yesterday so he motivated me.  We went to Art Van's to look at Bed Frames.  Then we went to Sam's Club and found a great deal on one.  We had some yummy samples while we were there.  At 3:30, I went to pick Hailey up.  We picked papa up and went to Taco Bell.  She had a Nacho Bell Grande, I had a double decker supreme and Bill had 3 tacos with no cheese.  It was pretty cold in the restaurant.  We headed to Culver's afterwards, for concrete mixers.  Hailey had vanilla with twix and oreo.   Bill had Vanilla with Nestle crunch and I had chocolate with banana, strawberry and cashews.  They were nice and let us use a coupon that had expired 3 days ago.  We came home after that and went through some shoes Kenzie didn't want and said Hailey could have.  Hailey watched a show she likes.  Took Hailey home at 8 so she could get her homework done.  Watched Fixer Uppers with Bill.

10/26/16...Walked 3 miles this morning at Sportszone. Peyton and Isaac had a half day of school so we went to McDonalds for their outing with Nana. Fun but cold

Found this nice pan I am putting on my Christmas list for Bill.  It can be used on my induction burner.  So far the best deal I have found but I am continuing to look!

Went to Sports Zone to walk.  Ended up walking 3 miles at a fast pace.  Sure feels good to get my walking in.  Came home and talked to Vikki to see if she wanted to meet me at McDonald's to take Peyton and Isaac out to eat and play as they only had a half day of school.  We had fun and they were so good and so cute.  Vikki and I about froze in the playroom.  I went to ask them if they had the air on and she said it wasn't, they just didn't turn the heat on.  Vikki and I didn't even want ice cream because we were so cold.  Tomorrow is Hailey's day with me and then next week is Jacob, Adam and Eli's turn.  Love spending time with my grandkids.  They are the best!   Hailey's school is painting the windows at the Children's Museum tomorrow night at 5 and she didn't even want to go to it with her friends because she wanted to spend time with me.  What a precious granddaughter.  Took a pan back to Ollie's that I thought would work on and invection burner but didn't.  Looked for one at Walmart and found some.  They are pretty expensive.  Still have other places to check.  Went to church and taught kid's care group.  Nine kiddos in my class tonight.  We learned about making good decisions and asking God for help.  Came home and watched the World Series...Chicago vs. Cleveland

10/25/18...Vikki Eddy came and talked to the girls and I about her ministry today

Vikki Eddy came over today and shared what she has learned about sex trafficking with Melissa, Vikki and me.  She has started a ministry at her church to make people aware of it and try to help stop it.  She did an amazing job and we were happy to be made aware of all the things going on, even though it was hard to hear and breaks your heart. She gave us each a folder of information and also got us each a beautiful hanging thing to remind us to pray.  We are working together to fill a clothes basket to give to a girl who has been rescued and is where she is getting the help she needs to heal.  We ate egg salad sandwiches on homemade warm bread, and salad. We used Grandma Daisy's china.  We had angel food cake with strawberries and cool whip on top for dessert.  Had a nice visit with Vikki.  Kenzie stopped in and ate a sandwich.  She took a shower.  Vikki left to get the kids, then Vikki E. left, and then Melissa left.  Kenzie left last.  Vikki and Peyton came back later and rode with Bill and I to Jacob's concert!  She surprised Kimmy by coming.  It was wonderful and Jacob plays amazing.  Loved seeing and hearing him.  All the kids did great and we sure enjoyed ourselves.  Loved seeing Eli and Adam and  Kimmy and Jared also.  Vikki brought combos for us to much on and she brought candy for each of the kids.  So sweet of her.

10/24/18...Vikki helped me clean the house. In the evening, wentto "Revive Us" at the theatre with Nancy and Randy.

Nice picture of my best friend in the world, Vikki, her husband,Terry, and three grandkids.

Vikki came over in the morning and helped me clean the house.  She is the best cleaner ever.  Does a super job and is fast.  What a blessing to have her help me!  Kenzie stopped over and emptied her closet here out.  My friend, Vikki, has started a ministry at her church to make people aware of and help stop sex trafficking.  After we have lunch, she is showing a couple of videos and giving a presentation tomorrow so we know what to watch for.  I am excited to get to spend time with her and so are the girls.  Poor Kimmy got called in to work at the school all week so won't be able to come.  She was sad and we are sad she can't come.  Bill had an Elder's meeting tonight, so Nancy and Randy picked me up to go see "Revive Us" at the theatre.  There were lots of Christians there to watch it.  Phyllis and Andy met us there and sat with us.  The Holy Spirit really touched my heart.  

Kirk Cameron did an amazing job and so did everyone else.  His daughter sang beautifully.  

Got home and 5 minutes later, Bill got home.  Made egg salad for tomorrow and also mashed strawberries to have with angel food cake.  Baked one loaf of homemade bread and making 2 more in the morning.  Also making a salad up in the morning before Bill and I leave for a VA appt.
