11/1/19...Went to the Music Extravaganza at Hailey's school, Went to Turkey Roost

I got to Melissa's at 10:30 a.m.  Drove Hailey, Brooklyn, and Breanna to school, then Melissa and I went to Tim Horton's and had donuts and a Mocha/French Vanilla Capp.  We visited there until time to go to the school and drive Max and four friends to The Music Extravaganza at Valley.  Hailey did great in symphonic band and golden voice choir.  They all sounded amazing.  We took Max and his friends back to school and then went back and picked Hailey up and took her home.  I left and came home and got ready. Charlie and Sue picked us up and took us to the Turkey Roost for their yummy perch.  It was the best ever!  We came back to our house and played four games of Euchre.  The guys won all four.  We didn't get good cards at all.  We had a nice surprise while we were playing.  Hailey and Bruce came over.  She's getting driving course in.  They brought me a batch of laundry to dry.  I was so happy to see them.  Another surprise....Adam called me to see how many steps I got and tell me how many he had.   Now I have him beating me in steps too.  I dried the laundry and folded it.  Put the basket of laundry on the table for Bill to take in the morning and drop off when he takes a load of brush to dump.   He goes by Melissa's subdivision on his way home.

Thursday, 10/31/19...Went to Vicki B's, Went to get chili ingredients, Went to Melissa and Bruce's

Hailey, Jack, Jacob, Eli, Evan, Adam, Isaac, Jacob M. Peyton,  Amani, Max,  and Caleb

I went to teach Vicki B. how to do Newsletter at her house, but she didn't have updated email on her computer so couldn't do anything.  I went to Jack's afterward and got stuff to make turkey chili for Kimmy to have tonight.  Baked two loaves of bread to take to Melissa and Bruce's.  Made the chili when I got home.  Went to Melissa's at 5:45 p.m.  Gave all the kids their bags of candy.  Bill and I stayed at the house while the rest went out in the rain/sleet.  Vikki and Isaac came back quickly, because they didn't want to be out in the wind, rain and cold.  Rody came.  He was late because the Landlord was taking out the broken spring on their garage door.  Isaac passed out the candy when kids came to Melissa's.  We had delicious chili when everyone came back and delicious pumpkin cake.  Fun with family afterward.

Wed., 10/30/19...Walked 3 miles, Went to Melissa's, Went to Falcon Club to have burgers with Charlie and Sue

I walked 3 miles.  Bill met Charlie for coffee, and then he had to go set up some things for Sargent Rice to honor him.  He is a military hero and survivor.  Melissa called and her dryer quit working.  Bruce came home early to work on it.  He's great at fixing things. I spent time with Melissa, and showed her Jacob and Adam's concert videos.  I showed her Eli's too.  She loved them.  I helped her a little around the house because they are having all of us over tomorrow night, with the dryer situation, they don't have as much time to get things ready.   I took some of her laundry to my house to dry.  She's so cute....she had each load with a dryer sheet in it already for the dryer.  Charlie called and he and Sue want us to meet for Burger night at the Falcon's Club.  On our way there, we dropped off Melissa's laundry.  She told us Max was at Basketball practice.  I am so happy about that.  He sure made some amazing shots in our hotel pool when he played basketball.  This is so good for him too.
Sure love my grandkids!  I am blessed!

Got ready, read our Bibles, and then went to pick Melissa up for our Tuesday Morning Breakfast. Gayla gave a good devotion and we had good prayer time.  Charlie and Sue, Wes and Gayla, Andy, Dennis and Bill, Melissa and I were the only ones there today.   We ladies visited at one end of the table and the guys talked at the other end.  They were all happy to see Melissa.  Melissa and I met Bill at Kroger to get gas afterward, so we could get our $1 off for 35 gallons.  Big savings!  Melissa and I went to Rite Aid to get our flu shots afterward.  The guy did a good job and it didn't hurt.  We went to McDonald Nursery afterward to see what their sales were.  They are going retiring after 90 years in business.  Everything was pretty expensive, and there wasn't much left.  I will miss walking through that store.  I dropped Melissa off, and then went to Sam's Club to get chocolate drizzle popcorn for tonight at small group.  Stopped at Walmart for cupcakes.  Came home and it was nice out, so I went for a 2 mile walk down our road.  Got things set up for small group.  Moved some chairs in the living room, so almost everyone could have comfy seats for the movie.  We played the movie "What If".  Only two people had seen it before.  Everyone loved it.  Great movie!  Kimmy sent me videos of the boys band concert.  They sounded amazing and did so great. Eli had her send me a video of him playing his recorder too.  He did great and sure was cute in the video.  Such handsome grandsons who are very talented.

Walked 2 miles, Cleaned the house,

I walked two miles.  We ate our breakfast and read our Bibles.  Bill worked outside burning brush, and I picked up stuff in the yard to put in yard waste.  When I was in the basement, I heard a noise by the window.  There were two raccoons in the window well.  One was trying to pick up a piece of curved glass about an inch in size.  He would drop it, and try to get it again.  There were two rocks in the window well, and the glass would fall between them.  Then he would pick the rocks up to try to get it.  I was nervous that he would break the window.   I swung the curtain at him and chased him away from the window.  The other one had already moved.  This one couldn't get his mind off the glass.  Now Bill has the trap out to catch some raccoons.  Had pea soup Sue and Charlie made.  It was yummy.  Cleaned the house.  Worked on labeling pictures.  We ate our spaghetti, we brought home from the Olive Garden.  Bill had an Elder's meeting.  I watched a movie.

Went to church, Went to Olive Garden with Beemers, Went to Vikki's

Becca, Meredith and Iain at Olive Garden

Peyton and Isaac

Melissa and Lynn (Lynn was Melissa's therapist for many years and was always her favorite) Mine too!

Shawl Bill got me.  I tried out my watch camera.  All I had to do was set my phone camera where it could take the picture, go to where I wanted to stand and hit my watch camera with the 3 sec. timer button.  Amazing that it can do this.

We went to church.  Prayed before service in prayer room.  Service was amazing with amazing worship and an awesome message Pastor gave from the Word of God in Ephesians.  I am going to listen to it again!  I took so many notes.  We went to the Olive Garden with the Beemer family after church.  So nice to get with them.  Kevin is taking Bill's place as President of Faith Riders, and Vicki will be doing the newsletter for me. Great blessings to us.  We came home and my watchband for my new watch came.  We relaxed for a while, and when Vikki and Rody got home from coat shopping for the kids, Bill and I loaded the Green Lazyboy and little refrigerator in Bill's truck.  I drove the truck to Vikki's.  Peyton and Isaac were playing on the tire swing, and Vikki and Rody unloaded the truck when I got there.  Rody put my new watchband on for me.  I stayed for a while and had a nice visit. Melissa called me and said she and Bruce went to visit Russ at the hospital.  He was so happy to see them.  While they were there they ran into Melissa's all time favorite therapist, Lynn.  Lynn was not only a great therapist, she was always so kind and nice.  When I got home, Bill and I ate our caramel apples.  We watched Fox news for a while.  Happy the the leader of ISIS was killed today by our military.  We watched the World Series Game.

Beautiful fall colors by our old house

Nice apples I picked up for Kimmy.  I got a half bushel for me too!
Pretty roses I picked from my Knockout Rose Bush

Got a yummy caramel apple for Bill and I
Bill presenting the Eagle Scout Award
Kimmy sent me some nice pictures of Jacob.  Jacob, Kimmy and Jared were all doing the 5K with his band to raise money.  Bill went to a church in Bay City for a Marine Corp. meeting.  Then he left there and went to present an Eagle Scout Award.  Charlie came and brought me some homemade pea soup.  Sue had marked a small container pea soup for Bill.  It had a donut in it, because they know Bill doesn't like pea soup.  Charlie told me about an apple orchard in Hemlock that has the best prices. I called Kimmy and she wanted some.   I went there and got Kimmy some apples and me some....nice Granny Smiths.  The apple orchard was right next door to Bill and Gail's.  We used to be at their house a lot when our kids were young.  Came home and dropped the apples off and got ready to go meet Faith Riders at Meijer's.  We all went to the Rustic Inn for dinner.  Bill S., Don B, Don M., Kevin and Vikki all rode motorcycles.  I rode with Wes, Gayla and Joel.  We sure had a great turn out.  Lots of good food and fellowship.  We dropped Don and Diane's motorcycle off in Wes's shed because the tail lights weren't working.  Then Wes, Gayla and Joel dropped me off at my car.  I came home and Bill got home shortly after me.  Vikki had a table at a Bazaar today.  She said it wasn't as good as last year and not many people came.  I talked to Melissa on the phone.
