Made sure to read my Bible and spend time with the Lord before I got too busy.  Got everything ready and crockpots out to use when it was time to load them with food.  The girls and their families all got here and the were great helps as always. Fred and Lourdes got here at 3.  Tom, Matthew, Alex and Amanda got here around 4:30 and Debbie came at 5:30.  We all had fun visiting and eating together.  After we ate, Kimmy and Vikki put all the food away and cleaned up the kitchen.  They always do this.  What amazing daughters.  They make me sit down and visit with people while they bless me.  Thank you both so much. Love you to pieces.  We opened our gifts after we ate.  Got Doltera Soap, a change purse with a tiny tube of chapstick, and a keychain friend of Lourdes's in Mexico made.  Very nice!  We all sat around visiting and then the grandkids opened their Christmas ornaments from Aunt Debbie and Uncle Tom.  They were happy with the cute ornaments.  Travis got an Owl and two hummingbirds.   Bill handed out Starbuck $5 cards to adults, Kenzie, Travis and Hailey.  Max got a Taco Bell one and the rest got McDonalds gift cards.  They were pretty happy.  What a wonderful blessed day with family.  I love my family!

Fri., 12/13/19..Made rolls, baked the turkey, made stuffing and did all the preparations for tomorrows party.

Spent my time with the Lord and then spent the day baking and cooking to get everything ready ahead of time for tomorrow's Schaard Christmas party.   Bill asked me to go to the Christmas Party at the VA, but didn't tell me till today, so I had to keep on schedule, to get everything done.  I could have gotten up earlier if I would have known ahead.  It ended up that Melissa needed me to get Max from school.  He had thrown up, so he needed to go home.  The first thing he said to me was, "I was trying to not get sick this year so I wouldn't miss any school.  Poor kid.  He didn't throw up anymore and started feeling better after he was home for a while.  It ended up being at 11 right when Bill's was going to the party, so I couldn't have made it anyhow.  I sure was busy, and glad I got everything done and ready.  Kimmy is baking 2 batches of rolls, and Vikki is making mashed potatoes and strawberry jello with strawberries in it.  YUM!  They are such a big help.  I told Bruce and Melissa we had everything covered and not to bring anything because they have so many appointments for Melissa and kids, but Bruce said he's bringing something exotic ha ha.  Bill and I watched a movie in the evening.

Got groceries that I needed for Saturday's Party.  Kimmy called and she had to have a rood canal.  She went to Dr. G who goes to our church.  He remembered her and gave her a great discount.  He did that the last time she went there when he found out she was our daughter.  He always blesses Bill too.  He sure is a nice person and a giver.  I picked Hailey up from school, and she came and helped me clean the house.  I planned on putting worship music on the tv for her while she cleaned, but forgot.  She asked me if I had headphones and then I remembered and told her I would put worship music on for her.  She did a great job cleaning.  We went to Coco Locos to eat after we were done.  We both always get 1/2 /order of Nacho's with beans and meat.  We went to Sam's Club after that, and then to Vikki's.  Got my hugs from Peyton and Isaac that I didn't get last night because we had to leave so fast.  Took some pictures and then we left, and I took Hailey home.  I got great hugs from all the boys there.  Evan made me a beautiful card and gave it to me.  He is so sweet and I am so blessed.  Came home and watched a Christmas movie.

Very cold day.  It was 19 degrees and the wind was really blowing.  Bill and I slept in until 8:30 today which is very rare for us.  Charlie picked him up to go for coffee and I cleaned the basement.  In the evening, we went to Peyton and Isaac's School Christmas Program.  The kids all sang out and did the motions so cute.  Peyton and Isaac did great and also

did wonderful on their speaking parts.  After the program was over, Bill and I left right away so we could go see Jacob and Adam in their Christmas Band Concert.  We hurried and got there right in time to see both boys play.  Sure was happy we could make it to both events.  We went to McDonalds afterward with Kimmy, Jared and all the boys.  It was such an enjoyable evening.  Love having grandkids!

We went to meet Angie at Cracker Barrel in Bridgeport at 6:30 in the morning.  We had a time catching up and a great breakfast.  We said our goodbyes, and she headed to the airport and we went to our regular breakfast for coffee.  We came home and Bill went to his appointment and I went to pick up a couple hams at Sam's.  Came home and got the house and food ready for our Small Group Christmas Potluck.  Everyone came at 6 and we ate some delicious food, visited, did our lesson and sang Christmas Carols.   Passed out snowmen that we bought from Kelly to help her with her Compassion Child.  Everyone loved it and loved that we helped her.  We got a beautiful glass platter from Lisa that has Mary, Joseph and baby Jesus on it.  It was a great night.  

Monday, 12/9/19...Happy Birthday to Carol, Cleaned upstairs, washed Foyer light, put stair decorations up, cleaned kernel burner

Wished Carol a Happy Birthday.  Texted Angie and set up meeting for breakfast tomorrow before she flies back to Kansas.  Cleaned upstairs, decorated stair rail, and cleaned the foyer light.  Bill fixed the door on the kernel burner and then I vacuumed the kernel burner out so it would be clean for the parties.  Ordered some stuff on amazon.  Fed the birds before the cold spell comes.  Did my Christmas cards and got them ready to mail.  Talked to Kenzie for a long time which I enjoyed.  Talked to her later on too, but just for a little while.  Watched a Hallmark Movie with Bill.
