Day 95, 6/19/2020, Got hitch put on my car, Picked up pool, Went to Vikki's, Went to Sam's Club

Peyton
Isaac by tripod Bill found for Rody
Peyton came out all bundled up.  It was already super warm outside ha ha
Peyton came out like this next.  She's my silly girl
Isaac flying his drone.  He sure is good at flying it!  He's my techy boy!
We have our pool in the trailer ready for the people to set up for us.
Got the little stand with the plant on it and the wire basket at an Estate Sale.  Everyone had face masks on and were social distancing.  Not very many there when we were there.

We took my car in to get a hitch put on so I can use my bike rack.  I have missed going to the bike trails.  We went to Vikki's after we dropped my car off.  She has everything in her front yard and back yard so cute.  We visited outside for a while and then we went to Sam's Club to get hotdogs and buns for tomorrow's Father's Day cookout.  Got some new Sketcher Sandals and a nice summer dress that is so comfy.  Bill got a nice pair of comfy sandals too.  We both got a pair of shorts too.  Got a bird feeder today too!  We got a call that our pool was in.  They didn't know when they could deliver it, so Bill told them we would pick it up.  One problem, our trailer was filled with branches from when our Royce Grandsons were here and cleaned up our yard.  They had emptied the trailer, but Bill put it all back on the trailer.  Bill didn't think the brush dump was open until Saturday, but I told him I went by it on Wed. and it was open.  We drove over there, and sure enough it was open.  I think they are leaving it open because so many people have so much to clean up from their yards after two storms.  We went home and hooked up the trailer and took it and emptied it.  Then we headed to the pool place.  The guy was outside and had us just pull up in the back and he loaded it.
We headed home and Bill unhooked the trailer from the truck and hooked it up to his tractor.  He pulled it and parked it by the pool spot, so if the guys made it to set it up today, it would be right there.  They didn't get done with their job in the Thumb, so maybe will come tomorrow now.  We organized the little shed with the pool stuff we need to store.  Came home and filled in some low spots in our garden with dirt.  Talked to all three girls today and texted with Adam.  Watched Elevation sing the song Rattle on You Tube on TV.  It is such a great song!

Day 94, 6/18/2020...Worked in garden, Vikki and the twins came over,

Love this red bellied woodpecker...he is here all the time
My cuties..Isaac and Peyton
I love this bird house Kenzie made me when she was in school.  Usually wrens build their nests in it.
Vikki picked up this nice table for us.  It stores the propane tank for our gas fire pit.  The top lifts up.  Took these pictures at night
No Devotions on Thurs. and Fridays anymore because church opens back up this Sunday.  We ate our oatmeal.  I read my Bible outside and Bill read in the house.  I hoed the garden and he tilled the garden in the morning before it got too hot.  Bill started power washing the second lounge chair.  I finished hoeing and then took over power washing because I wanted to cool off, and I sure did.  I ended up soaked.  Bill and I ate lunch on the deck under the pergola.  I watered some plants and the grass where it was getting dry spots.  Vikki came over and brought me a cute bird house she picked up for me.  She also surprised me with a pillow that matches my cushion for my lounge chair.  It is so cute and so soft.  Thank you so much Vikki!   She left and stopped at a couple of garage sales on the way home.  She found a Ninja food pro for Melissa for $5 which was amazing.  We all love ours and am so excited for Melissa to have one.  Vikki face timed me to show me all the great stuff she got for really cheap.  She had a table she picked up she showed me and when she went to put it on her porch, she forgot she already had a really cute table.  She asked me if I wanted it and I said yes, because I needed one. She was going to come drop it off later.  It was only $5.  The cover lifts up and she told me you could keep a water can in it.  Bill and I went to Charlie and Sue's for an outside visit.  He is eating lots of protein he said and feeling like he's 40 again.  He actually is 79.  He goes tomorrow to make sure the spot on his thyroid isn't cancer.  We sure are praying it isn't.  When we got home, Vikki dropped off the table and brought me a white table that goes good with the lounge chairs.  The table she got for $5 is actually for a fire pit propane tank.  We were both so excited when we realized what it is for. How nice to have the propane tank hidden.  Now she knows why she got it.  God wanted me to have it.  So thankful to have such a nice table.  Talked to Melissa for a while.  Texted with Adam!
Talked to Marie for a while too.

Day 93, 6/17/29, Vikki, Peyton, Isaac and I went to help Marie and Roy with yard work, Vikki brought chairs I bought from Misty and power washed them.

It was so good to see Marie up and walking around quite a bit today.  She has been pretty much laid up in bed for the last two years with spinal stenosis.  I am praising and thanking God
Roy on his lawn tractor.  It cuts the lawn like carpet
Vikki and Marie working in the front yard.  I should have taken pictures of Peyton and Isaac working.  They worked hard and sure were great helpers

How the chairs looked before and after
Got the turquoise chair cushions that were new too
My Dahlias are beautiful this year
Ate breakfast and then went outside to read my Bible.  I walked around the yard afterward and then came in to make face masks.  I got two started and got a call from Marie.  Roy broke a blood vessel in his eye, and she didn't want him overdoing, so needed help with yard work.  I had told her to call me if they needed help because they are in their 80's and have had some health issues.  Vikki had told me she would help too.  I called Vikki and she happily said she would go help them with me.
We decided to eat our lunch first, pack our water bottles, snacks, garden gloves, stools, etc. and then leave.  I called her when I was ready.  We got into Bay City and I got held up by the drawbridge.  Vikki called me and asked if there was a white truck behind me.  I told her yes, and she said she was right behind that truck.  We sure timed that right (with God's help).  She was able to just follow me to their house since she wasn't sure where it was.  We had fun working together and the kids did a great job helping pull weeds.  Roy and Marie helped pull weeds for a while too.  Marie had her Amigo out there and sat on it, but got up quite a bit and walked around and put Preen on after we were done weeding.  It's the most I've seen her move in two years which made me so happy.  Vikki was able to dig lots of her Lilies of The Valley up that she wanted out.  She worked very hard.  After we weeded and dumped the weeds, we used the blower to blow the rocks off.  Vikki did the whole front.  Roy and I did the back.  We had lots of fun visiting with Marie!  She was sure a great supervisor.  They are such a sweet couple and so loving and fun.  I came home and made dinner, then Bill went to the Marine Corp. Meeting at the park by us under the pavilion.  They all wore face masks and social distanced.  Vikki got here right when Bill was going to leave.  She pulled in back. Bill got out of his truck and walked back to tell her hi quick.  She brought the chairs and cushions I bought from Misty.  Vikki power washed one and it was amazing the difference.  The lounger looks like new now.  She is coming back tomorrow to do the other one and let Isaac try doing it too.  I talked to Melissa for a while today and had a nice talk.  Hailey got her guitar today.  She has wanted one for so long and saved up for it.  I am so happy for her.  Very happy she heard me say I wanted a picture of her and she reminded her mom that Nana wanted a picture.  I am blessed with an amazing, loving family.

Now a chipmunk decided he would eat from my finch feeder

Roses are so pretty this year...yarro plant from Kimmy between them is doing great and hanging plant from Melissa and family is looking beautiful
Painted the inner part of the gas fire pit
Fire pit finished
Nice that Vikki could walk with Melissa while social distancing and Peyton, Isaac, Jack and Evan could ride their bikes while social distancing.  I was happy to see the pictures.  Vikki came over to get some wood.  He made a bird house while she was here, then she added a few features at her house.  Bill cleaned and sanded the gas fire pit after I emptied it.  I painted the inside section, because it had some rust on it.  It looks great now.    Bill and I sat outside for a long time.I talked to Vikki lots, talked to Melissa and talked to Kimmy for a long time.  So nice!

Day 91, 6/15/2020, Walked 2 miles, Walked with Melissa in afternoon

Put Crown of Thorns in a new pot...It's growing already
Evan, Hailey and Jack

I walked two miles on the treadmill. We listened to the online devotion, read our Bibles, prayed and then ate breakfast.  Did some cleaning.  Ate a salad made from lettuce in our garden.  It was yummy.  Walked around and picked up some sticks while checking out the garden and my plants.  Watched the birds for a while.  Did some ordering online.  Went to Melissa's and walked with her, Evan, Hailey, and Jack around their neighborhood.  So nice to be able to visit and walk together.  Melissa and I visited for a while in her yard afterward.  They have been painting the front porch and trim and it looks beautiful.  I sat out on the deck for a while.  I made spaghetti for dinner.  Vikki called a couple of times and I talked to Melissa a couple of times.  Didn't hear from Jacob today.  He had 32,000 steps yesterday which is amazing and almost unheard of.  I bet he slept all day today ha ha!  I'm at 11,410 steps right now and I feel like I've walked plenty.

Great year for my Knockout Roses this year

Got ready, listened to worship music, and then prayed before our church service started.  It was another wonderful online service with a great message on love!  I made eggs, bacon, potatoes and toast afterward.  Went to Sarah's shower at 2.  It was right in the church foyer.  It was decorated beautifully.  They had everything packages individually...food, snack, and cupcakes.  Sarah was so sweet and cute.  She got tons of nice stuff.  Came home and spent some time outside.  Sunny but cool with the wind.  Supposed to start warming up tomorrow.  A poor robin was dead on our deck under our wooden porch swing.  Bill took care of it.  I felt so bad seeing it.  I love robins.

Day 89, 6/13/2020..Went on our Memorial Ride to Grindstone City

Had our Memorial Service and Ride for those who have passed away from our Faith Riders  Chapter

Me on the right, Gayla, Greg, and Don

Riding by the bay in Port Austin
Vikki said her Lavender plant was looking dead.  I said mine was too and then went in and saw it was looking amazing and growing like crazy.  Then she sent me the picture below of hers.  I sure got a good laugh.  Guess mine never did look dead compared to hers

Corona Virus Cases
We left at 8:45 and headed to Meijer to do our Memorial Service.  Elaine did it and prayed such a great prayer that covered the memorial and the riding season.   We went to M-15 and M-81 and met up with Trinity Riders and some of the Flint chapter too.  We went in three separate groups because there were so many of us.  We stopped at BayShore, because they said we could use their bathrooms in the bathhouse.  They had them all cleaned and ready.  We went to Port Austin and ate our packed lunches.  We went up to the pavilion and so did one other couple.  The others just ate their lunches by the motorcycles.  I packed egg salad sandwiches, grapes, chips and granola bars.  We went to Grindstone City after that.  Headed home and only stopped once for gas and if any had to use the restroom they were available. Came home and Vikki came over and brought a little table she picked up for me.  She got a swing from Aldi and had to take it back because it wasn't made right. She went to the other Aldi and got another one. Poor girl spent lots of time putting it together.  The holes didn't line up right.  She brought it over and Bill got it together by using some tools to make things line up.
We sat on the deck by the fire pit visitting while he worked on it.  We checked all the milkweed here again. Tired from all that fresh air today. and going to bed early.  Jacob messaged me at 2:18 and said he already had 18, 367 steps.  I only had 3,000.  Guess who won again!  Love that my grandsons text me.  They are so sweet.
