Sunday, 10/4/2020, Went to church, Got together with Beemers, Bill hung Vikki's Television,

We went to church early for prayer.  Worship was so good.   Pastor Don Dickerson gave the message and did an amazing job.  We got together with Vikki, Kevin and Meredith at 1 and had a nice social distance visit.  When we got home I gave the file cabinet another coat.  Bill went to Vikki's while I did that and he hung her television on the wall for her.  Vikki face timed me and it looks great.  Later on, I popped pop corn and we watched the movie, Wonder. I texted Hailey to make sure she was home safe from her camping trip with Mia and her family at BayShore.  She was and said she had a really fun time, even though the weather was cold and rainy.  I had been praying lots for her, so was so happy to hear from her.

Sat., 10/3/2020...Met Trinity Riders in Linwood and went on their color tour ride

Saw some pretty colored trees on our ride today with Trinity Riders

Dad and Amish man waving at each other
Pretty horse and cute pony out by the road on this farm we passed

Always lots of laundry on the lines

We passed a Flex like Charlie and Sue's right before I took this picture.  Bill thought he saw Sue buying something.  We called them when we got home and found out it was them.

Ate at an Italian Restaurant in Beaverton

Dennis, Gordon, Mark, Woody, Bill, Don and Elaine in Beaverton

Mark and Bill.  Mark is a miracle...he has had 4 different kinds of cancer and has been healed each time Praise God!
Very sad to see Wixum Lake now.  The road is fixed at least.  Last time we were here there was huge gaping cracks in the road

This is all the fall color in our yard right now. Usually this tree turns color all over, but it' going in streaks this year

After our normal morning routine, I gave the file cabinet another coat of primer.
Then we got ready and put on layers to go on a color tour ride with Trinity Riders.  It was 51 degrees when we left.  I was very thankful for heated seats on our motorcycle.  We met Don and Elaine at Meijer and then headed to Linwood where we met those from Trinity Riders who were going.  We rode to Pinconning, then Beaverton and Gladwin.  We saw some nice color, but it definitely isn't peak season yet where we went.  We had a nice time!  We came home, and I gave the file cabinet a coat of grey paint.  I went to Vikki's to take a computer chair to her.  Stopped at Jack's and bought caramel apples.  It was 5 minutes before they closed, and they had one nutty one and 4 plain.  They were on sale for 3.39 now so I got them all and took four plain ones to Vikki's for them to have.  Bill and I split another one and now have one to go.  So Yummy!  Great apples inside, so very healthy!!!

October 2, 2020, Moved a few things around upstairs, gave primer coat to file cabinet, Got food from Turkey Roost, Went to Sam's Club

Got us each a caramel apple from Jacks. We split one and ate it today.

Switched the keyboard and vanity around today

Started painting the file cabinet today.  Bill is going to take the ceiling fan panels down so I can paint them too

Peyton and Isaac had to go to take a reading test at their new school today.  They did great!

Did our usual morning routine and then Bill took his Marine Corp. League stuff and gave it to the new Commandant.  Bill has been it for tow years.  After that they have to step down and let someone else be it.  Now they want him to be the Chaplain, which he will love. I was sad to hear that President Trump's and his wife, Melania have Covid.  We sure are praying for them.  I moved a few things around upstairs, then decided to give the file cabinet a coat of primer.  Bill mowed the grass while I did the painting.  Peyton and Isaac did great on their reading test at their school.  They read to me on Tuesdays, and are such good readers now.  I knew they would do great.  We split a caramel apple from Jack's as our snack/lunch to hold us over til we eat later. They are so big we decided we couldn't eat a whole one.  It was so delicious!  I can't wait to split the other one. YUM!  At 4 we went to the Turkey Roost and got a Walleye Dinner to eat.  I should have taken a picture of the cars in the take out line.  It was a huge line up, way back even on the road.  Nice and safe their which I liked.  Rich Dudek was declared cancer free on Wednesday.  He had such great results from his treatments and surgery that he doesn't have to go back as often for checkups now.  He had four kinds of cancer, but none of them spread.  Praise the Lord.  He sure is a miracle.  He and his wife, Pat, went through a lot over the last two years.  Praying the same great results for Charlie.  We stopped at Sam's Club and picked up Printer toner and a few other things. We weren't going to stop if it was busy like Friday's usually are.  It wasn't busy at all, so got out stuff quickly and left.  We stopped at the New Furniture Store, Loves, where Art Van's used to be.  It only had a few cars in the parking lot, so we walked through and looked.  Nice store and we are happy to have a new business move in.  I prayed they will do well when I was walking through there.  We came home and there was a special on television, showing President Trump being taken to Walter Reid Hospital.  They are taking lots of precautions so he has the best care.  We watched Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune. Talked to Vikki lots today.

Thurs., 10/1/2020...A real cold morning, Worked on spelling and reading with Peyton and Isaac, Bill put a mantle on Vikki's fireplace for her

Isaac and Peyton were already up when I got up this morning.  They are early birds.  They were so quiet that we didn't even hear them.

Dresser with mirror all back in place

We got up before 8 and Peyton and Isaac were already up.  They sure were quiet.  We ate breakfast and then started working spelling.  After that I read to them, and then they read their book to me and also the picture Bible.  They are getting to be such good readers.  We played 3-13.  Peyton was the winner, but it was a very close game and the last hand decided the winner.  We knew whoever went out would win because it was that close.  We sure had fun.  Vikki came and we warmed up leftover roast, carrots and potatoes.  We talked to Kimmy on Vikki's phone.  Vikki helped us get the mirror on the dresser I painted.  Afterward we all left and went to Vikki's.  Peyton rode with me.  Bill came a little bit later with the mantle.  He did a great job putting it on the fireplace.  Vikki and Rody loved it.  I had a nice talk with Melissa and some good prayer.  I sure love my family!

Wed., 9/30/2020, Rained on and off, Made a roast, Finished the mirror for the dresser, Vikki, Rody and kids came over

The storm went all around us and missed us totally!  So thankful!

Isaac had a little problem shuffling

Peyton loves her dog

Spent time with the Lord Worshipping and reading the Word.  Peeled potatoes and also carrots from the garden.  Made brownies and then put the roast in.  Used onions from the garden too.  Cooked a squash from the garden too.  Lots of good smells in the kitchen.  I gave the dresser mirror the last coat of paint on the side I couldn't do before.  Vikki, Rody, Peyton and Isaac came for dinner.  We had a nice time and Vikki was a huge help.  Peyton and Isaac spent the night.  We played the rest of our 3-13 game we started on Tuesday, then watched a couple of Full Houses.  We read the Action Bible and then we said our prayers.  I tucked them in and at first said Pop up like toast in the morning, but changed it to sleep like a log ha ha!  Sure love these kiddos!

Tuesday, 9/29/2020, Watched Peyton and Isaac, Walked 2 1/2 miles,

Playing 3-13 with these fun kiddos so they can work math when adding up their scores.  Trouble was, they got pretty low scores today.  At least they didn't get a lot of practice subtracting 10's

Dresser finished with new knobs and handles Bill got an put on for me.  He had to drill new holes for the handles.  He did a great job!

Lots of dark clouds rolling by...got a little rain, but not much

Bill with mantle he cut, stained and varnished for Vikki

Vikki brought Peyton and Isaac at 8 this morning.  I made her a coffee to go before she headed to work. I put ingredients in the bread maker and started it.  I also boiled eggs to make egg salad.   Peyton and Isaac ate breakfast and then we worked on spelling.  They had a real hard list of 20 words this week.  I gave them a test before they studied and they got most wrong this time.  They wrote the words they missed 5 times and then I tested them on those.  We studied a long time and they were so patient and good and so much fun.  We played 3-13 after that so they could relax for a little while.  We didn't finish the game, because we had to do our reading.  They wanted to hear 2 chapters instead of 1 of the book I am reading to them.  After that they took turns reading their books out loud.  Vikki came, and we ate our lunch.  Peyton loved the egg salad on homemade bread.  Isaac tried it, but didn't like it.  Bill put the handles and knobs on the dresser for me.  It looks so nice!  I had to finish a side of the mirror, so will have him put it on when it's done.  I went to the SportsZone and walked the rail trail.  Went 2 1/2 miles...almost to our road, and then turned around and came back.  Gave the mirror another coat of paint.  Talked to Kimmy and Melissa today and texted with Adam.  Watched the Debate.

Monday, 9/28/2020, Updated CMA Website, Made up a list to fill out for Peyton and Isaac's reading, Finished 2nd & 3rd coats of paint, visited James

I fixed our breakfast and we did our reading, then I painted a second coat of grey on the dresser.  Also did the round table.  I worked on updating our Faith Riders Group on the CMA website.  I also typed up a list for recording books Peyton and Isaac read while they are here and the time spent reading.  We went to do an outside social distance visit with James and his mom under the Pavilion of Great Lakes.  It was raining and a little cool out, but I put lots of layers on, so I was warm.  Bill didn't wear layers, and said he was shivering by the time we left.  Poor James didn't know it was so cold out and came out wearing shorts and a tee shirt.  His mom called one of the workers and had them bring him a sweatshirt out.  We had a really nice visit.  It's the first time he could have visitors in quite a while because of Covid.  He has been in lockdown since April.  He was very happy to see us, and we were very happy to see him.  We ate dinner and then I talked to Vikki and she is bringing the kids in the morning instead of tonight, so I gave the dresser and table the 3rd and final coat.  YAY!  Bill is picking up new knobs and handles tomorrow that match the color of my vanity table.  It will be nice to put everything back in the drawers.  So proud of Adam.  He messaged me that he only has 400 more pages to read and he will be finished reading his Bible.    He's a pretty amazing kid.
