Max loved this Snack and Play tray for when he plays games.  The cup holder keeps your drink level.  Nice place for snacks and a charging station.  Very cool

Abby always comes and joins in when she sees them playing a game.  She actually watches the cards.  What a dog!

We did our morning routine, then at 10 went to Bruce and Melissa's to celebrate Christmas with their family.  We had huge homemade cinnamon rolls Bruce made.  Super fantastic!! Then the kids took turns opening their gifts first. Melissa and Bruce went next, then dad an I went last.  Jack and Evan shopped at their school themselves with school helpers.  Evan got me a pretty dove ornament.  The dove has an olive branch in it's mouth.  Really cute!  Jack got me a cute picture frame the size I needed.  Hailey got me a good smelling Evergreen candle.  Max got me six soft grey washcloths.  Such nice gifts.  Bill got a picture of a buck from Evan (the kind he wants to get when he hunts lol), and sandwich grillers for camping from Jack and Max. Thank you for the nice things kiddos.

Bruce made the absolute best and most delicious breakfast for us.  2 egg casseroles and scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, blueberry pancakes, french toast, potato casserole, hash browns with onions, regular fried potatoes, biscuits like at KFC, fresh fruit, orange juice and coffee.  This is a tradition now, and we sure love it.  Thank you Bruce!

We took a picture by the tree, than came home.  I talked to Kimmy, Vikki and Sue.  Face timed with Vikki too.  Adam sent me a cute cartoon this morning that made me laugh.  It was about the wrapper being left on the cheese in a sandwich.  Claire did that when she came up to the camper this summer.  We all got a good laugh and we do tease her still.  Bill and I watched another family rated Christmas movie.

Wed., 12/28/22, Cleaned the house, went shopping with Hailey, went to Vikki's, watched a movie with Bill

Vader and Abby love watching Melissa and Evan play SkipBo.  They come lay by where they are playing and keep their eyes on the cards.  Cute dogs!

Hailey and I found these cute tables at  TJ Max.  I have been looking for small tables to put next to the bed upstairs.  They were only $14

I transplanted this plant from Rody's mom's funeral Rody had in his office.  Vikki put it out by the road because it looked like it was dying, but Rody rescued it and brought it back in the house.  I decided to do what I did to Melissa's and mine because ours started doing great after I transplanted them.  Praying his does great too!

Yesterday there was one blossom and 2 good sized buds.  Today I can only find a blossom and one bud.  Such a mystery.  No one but Bill, Hailey and I have been here.  There is no bud on the floor.  I don't think my eyesight is that bad to miss it.  

I woke up at 6, but stayed in bed til 6:30.  I got up so I could get my Bible reading done before the day got busy.  Melissa called and said she slept good for six hours last night. She was feeling better and I sure was thankful.  I had to return something, so asked Hailey if she wanted to go to some stores with me.  She did so we ate breakfast and then got ready and left.  We went to Ulta first, then T.J. Max, then $5 Below.  I hadn't been in $5 Below for so long that it was totally changed inside.  We had fun looking around.  I was happy I found the two small tables I wanted.  We came home, then I left to go to Vikki's to take some croissants I bought at Sam's yesterday, and we all ate lunch.  Vikki had got some roast turkey from Jacks and salami.  We made sandwiches and they were sure yummy.  She had Doritos for us too.  They were preparing Rody's office to paint today.  Bill stopped over for a few minutes to see the family room they painted yesterday.  

I came home and cleaned the bathroom downstairs.  Hailey had to leave to get some things from her house.  I wrapped one more gift.  Hailey came back and hung out here.  I made Bill scrambled eggs with potatoes and bacon for dinner.  He requested it last night, but I had already made chicken.  Tonight I ate left over roast, carrots and potatoes.   Brianna came over and got Hailey and they went to Taco Bell. Then they were meeting their friend Levi, who is home on leave from the Marines.  She is spending the night at her house tonight because they are having their Christmas celebration tomorrow.  Bill and I are going for breakfast and gift opening too.  Looking forward to Bruce's delicious cooking.

Bill and I watched the movie A Smokey Mountain Christmas and ate a snack in the evening.

I got up early, ate my oatmeal, read my Bible and drank my coffee.  Put some good worship on.  Hailey got up at 9:55.  She went sledding at a friends at 11.  I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond to get a Christmas present for Bill I thought of that he needs.  I picked up a couple of pizza and breadsticks and took them to Vikki's.  Kimmy and the boys were there.  Kimmy was helping paint.  I can't help paint, so wanted to help in some way.  They took a break from painting  (Rody was using the paint roller to paint so he worked on that while we ate).

We had some chocolate covered cashews I made last night for a treat, and drank our coffee. Then Kimmy and Vikki got back to painting and I sat visiting with them for a little while.  I left to go to Sam's Club, Aldi and Ulta to get some things.  I got more cashews and chocolate to make more chocolate covered cashews.  Kimmy said Jared was doing good today.  So happy about that.

Hailey got home just as we were about to eat.  She asked me if I had seen the sunset because it was beautiful.  I had, but it wasn't as beautiful as the second time I looked. It was just amazing.  We both went out and took pictures of it.  Then we ate potatoes, carrots and chicken.  After we ate and cleaned up the kitchen, Hailey and I went to Vikki's to see the room all painted with the furniture back in place.  It looks so much better and brighter.  All of her stuff on the walls look great too.  We stayed for a few minutes, then left and took some chocolate covered cashews to Melissa and family.  She was able to eat some spaghetti today.  Yay.  She has only been eating chicken noodle soup.  

Bill and I watched Season 3 of the Chosen.  Hailey had to get some things straightened out for school, so she couldn't watch it with us.  So glad she is a responsible student.

 Got up and got my morning routine done.  Bill went for coffee with Charlie.  Hailey and I decided to go to pick up some things at Meijer.  We thought we would go to the one in the country and it would be less busy.  The parking lot was full.  We drove around for a few minutes trying to find a parking spot, then parked at the opposite end of the store where we needed to be because we decided we would rather walk inside.  We had pop cans to take back, so we headed to the back of the store.  There was only one other person returning cans besides us.  Hailey did a garbage bag full and I did one.  It didn't take us long.  We walked down every aisle in the food department and got some things Hailey wanted and some things I needed.  It was pretty amazing that the store wasn't very busy with all those cars outside.  We laughed and wondered where all the people were.  We stopped at Hailey's house so she could get more clothes.  Jack came outside, then Melissa came out on the porch, then Bruce came out too.  So did Abby!  We visited for a few minutes, then came back to my house.  Hailey hung out upstairs,  I wrapped gifts upstairs across from her room. I had two I needed to wrap.  At six, we met Alec, Maddy and Brielle at Coco Loco.  It was almost empty in there which was another surprise.  We had good food and gave Maddy, Alec and Brielle their Christmas gifts.  We had the best waitress!  She was amazing.  We gave her a good tip and left a New Life Card. 

Vikki called and said she was talking to Kimmy, and she said Jared wasn't feeling good.  Kimmy wanted me to start praying too, which of course I was so happy to do.  We all love Jared so much and sure don't want anything happening to him.  Kimmy told him he needed to be checked out, so they went to Urgent Care.  He was getting pretty dizzy, was hot and nauseous.  It happed a few times during the day.  The did some tests and and ekg which were all good.  They didn't get any answers.  He will get bloodwork tomorrow. 

When we got home, Hailey, Bill and I watched the movie Catching Faith.  It was a really good movie.  We enjoyed chocolate covered cashews that I had made earlier for our snack.
