8/26/15 Another cool day at the campground

We got up and had pancakes for breakfast.  Walked to the clubhouse to get online.  After that Vikki, the kids and I went to Northwoods so I could get Bills birthday gift.  We went to Taco Bell for lunch after that.  Came back to the campground and grilled chicken, potatoes and warmed up corn on the cob. Cement back to the clubhouse and did the newsletter while Bill watched the Tiger game there and Bik watched a show.  The kids played really good.  There was a mean grumpy man that yelled about them being noisy but the ladies by him told him to be quiet. They weren't being noisy at all.  We came back ad after the kids went to bed Bill, Vikki and I played cards, then dice.  Vik and I watched Love comes softly after that

8/25/15 Marie and Roy came to visit

Roy and Marie came up to visit us today. They are sweet friends from church who have been in our care group a long time.  They always come up for a visit. Their friend in Forida is the one who gave us our outdoor adventures membership because they told her we would probably like it.  Such a blessing from the Lord because we had signed up for a membership a couple years before and on the way home I didn't have peace about spending $7000 so Bill told me to cancel it. Praise God that He had a better plan.  Anyway, we had a very nice visit and took a nice walk.  They loved seeing Peyton and Isaac swim.  Bill grilled burgers and made corn on the grill.  We also had potatoes on the grill. Next time we need a bigger fire because some of the burgers didn't get done.

Lunch time!  I soaked the corn. And started the fire.  Bill cooked the burgers, hotdogs and corn on the new grill he got from the girls for his Birthday.  Everything was yummy

Vikki , the kids and I went to the club house so I could work on the CMA newsletter.  Bill came in and after a little bit, Kimmy and the boys got here.  Then Bill got a call from his sister Angie and she and Debbie were at the campground.  Such a nice surprise. We went to the pool and watched the kids swam and so did Vikki and Kimmy but it was too cool out for us.   I came back and soaked the corn from our garden in water and started a campfire.  We they came back Bill put the corn on the grill.  He went to throw the bucket of water out and do such a big circle that it all came back at hi and soaked him.  Even though Angie Debbie and I were facing the other direction with our chairs, we all saw him. Such a great laugh.  It was kind of like he paid himself back for all the tricks he's played on us. Everyone left around 4 so Vikki , the kids and I went to Shopko and the $ store.  At the $ store I was getting water bottles and the girl asked if I wanted a ripped one and pay half price.we sure did.  32 bottles for 1.25yay

We got back and it was cool so after Peyton and Isaac went to bed  Vikki and I had popcorn, a grilled cheese and watched 2 good Love comes softly series movies.  So much fun!
