Run for the Son totals were revealed today and CMAers in the U,S raised4 and 1/2 million dollars!

Very nice beach with great sand.
The water was warm and the scenery was beautiful  Bill, Gayla and Wes swimming.
This restaurant was had the best food and blackberry cobbler (dad loved their peach cobbler).  This sign was cut so I had dad stand by it for a pic.

Wes and Bill waiting for someone to come tell us what to do when we are greeters for the service this morning.
The low clouds by the mountains were beautiful this morning!

Some pictures of our side of the campground.  He lake goes around three sides of the campground and also winds and goes around the campground on the other side.  The bathroom was quite a climb.

Picture doesn't show the hills as big as they are.

We went to Wes and Gayla's for pancakes and sausage this morning!  Also had some cut up nectarines.  So yummy!  Bill washed the dishes and I dried afterwards.

Went to Dairy Queen after tonight's meeting and got a chicken mixer real sandwich and mini blizzard.  We didn't eat earlier because none of us were hungry.  The place had so many CMA people in it the line went all the way through the whole building!

Rode Deal's Gap (the Dragon's Tail) Made it to Hiawassee State Fairgrounds for CMA National rally! 95degrees! This is the beginning of Deals Gap, also called the Dragons Tail.  318 curves in 11 miles. The pictures show the end first.  Bill's helmet and Wes and Gayla ahead of us pulling their camper. Reversed the order somehow.  Fairground where we are staying is at end
Scenery along the way

This is the Harley Dealer at the end of the Dragon's tail from the way we came in

Gayla, Wes, Bill, me, and another couple who asked to follow us a few miles before getting on the Dragons Tail.  They wanted their picture with us.

Tree of shame.  Wrecked parts from accidents on Deals Gap, the Dragon Tail as they call it!

Bill and I by the Dragon and the sign telling how many curves there are and the distance.

Had to get our pic with the dragon for the boys! Had to get our pic with the dragon for the boys!

                                            There's a motorcycle in this dragon's mouth
Dad and I cooling off after a long hot ride.  This is about the length of our driveway from our camper.
Dad swimming

Wes and Gayla cooling their fee off.  Dad and I ran down here before them with our suits on and jumped in because we were so hot.

June 15, 2015

We made it to Corbin, Kentucky!  We started out from Wes and Gaylas at 6 am.   Got to our destination at 5:15 pm.  Got in rain once so stopped under a overpass and put our rain suits on.  A quarter mile down the road was a gas station so we stopped there and it quit raining right away. Took our rain suits off.  About an hour later we got on the expressway and it started pouring.  No rain suits on either.  Only rained a few minutes.  We pulled off an excited but decided we would forget rain suits and take our chances.  No more rain and we dried fast!  Busy traffic till we got paint Cincinatti.   Nice ride except it got way to hot...93 degrees.  Got to our hotel and they had homemade lemonade right when we got in. The door and yummy chocolate chip cookies.  Wales over to Cracker Barrel after that an the. Came back for a swim and hot tub.  Watched part of the Tiger game but tired so going to bed

We went to church.  The worship was amazing as we praised our Awesome God.  They sang Good Good Father which is my favorite song right now.  They sang is so beautifully.  Teen Challenge Women were at our church and did the service.  Amazing testimonies were given and they did amazing songs and acting.  Stacie, Kenzie and Maddie sat with us.  Afterwards, Kenzie drove home and Bill and I went to her house to pick her and Maddie up.  We changed and waited for Maddie to get there.  We left as soon as she got there and made it to Frankenmuth 15 min. before the parade was to start.  We said hi to everyone and then walked down to get a hotdog to hold us over as we hadn't had anything to eat.  It only sprinkled once or twice during  the parade which was amazing and even more amazing was the sun actually came out at Debbie and Toms and we didn't get rain like the weather man had said.  We heard thunder and saw dark clouds go past, but it stayed nice by us.  We left around 5 to come home and pack for Georgia.  Bill had the camper pulled in the garage so that was very nice to pack it in there.  Love to my beautiful family...I will sure miss you all!  I will be talking to you though.  Hugs!
