Got up early and got last minute things packed.  Dad had to work on one of the jacks before we left, so it was 9:20 when we left for BayShore Family Camp.  Stopped at Tim Hortons in Bay City on our way for a breakfast sandwich and donuts.  We had our coffee from home so got it to go.  Set up at BayShore.  Melissa and Bruce pulled in near us with their camper.  Vikki and the twins go here right after.  We all hung out in our camper while Bruce set there’s up.  Vikki, Peyton, Isaac and I went swimming because it was super hot out.  Melissa has a teacher meeting because she is helping teach 3 yr. olds.  Mia and Hailey came over because Hailey told her we were having cabbage buns.  Mia remembered them from last year, so was very excited about eating one.  She and Hailey each had 2.  Melissa liked them lots too.  They made me so happy.  Went to the tabernacle for worship and a teaching.  Both were great!  Had ice cream afterward in the dining hall.  Vikki, Bill and I played 3-13. Vikki won. Bill came in second with 52 and I had 56 in third place!

Took Melissa to therapy.  Brought Jack and Evan home with me.  I had gone by a garage sale on our road earlier and asked the boys if they wanted to go to it.  They both said yes.  We walked around and then the boys saw two nerf guns new in the boxes.  I could tell they really liked them, so told them I would buy them for them if they wanted them.  They were so happy and kept telling me thank you.  The older lady that was helping, told them not to shoot at anyone's face, and gave them lots of other instructions.  I got home, took a picture of the boys, then they went in the house and I drove back to the camper to unload groceries in the camper.  Bill and I took down the Clam.  I went in the house and the boys had the nerf guns out of the boxes and were trying them out.  They were so excited about them.  I made cabbage buns.  Just got them baked and it was time to go get Melissa.  I took her one to have on the drive home.  When I got home, I went swimming.  Then I vacuumed the pool.  When I backwashed it, it didn't want to stop.  Bill thinks a gasket broke.  We had to turn the filter off and keep the backwash hose in the pool.  Bummer!  Can't fix it until we get back from vacation.  I got back in the pool to cool off.  Bill came in for a swim too.  We just got out and Vikki called and was down the road.  She and Isaac came for a swim.  Bill took me to Outback for dinner.  Our steaks were the best we've had.  YUM!  Came home and watered my plants and finished packing for tomorrow.

Me, Eva and Wes

We all met for our officer's meeting.  We had others cover the front table.  Bill, Sabrina, Mike, Cheryl, Elaine, Wes, Luis, and Eva
Don, friend of Mark, Mark, Marti, and Bill

Packed all the refrigerator stuff today.  Kenzie called me and talked for a long time.  Nice to have such a good talk with her. We laughed a lot as we talked about memories.   Lowered the Clam, so I could spray the very top of it and waterproof it.  Put it back up to dry.  Bill and I washed the camper, the car and the truck.  They sure look great.  Went shopping and got what I needed for BayShore. Came home and got ready to go to Party on McCarty.  We took the motorcycle and loaded the banner, awning, tracks, Bibles, etc.  Forgot to bring the candy, so Bill headed back to get it while the rest of us set stuff out on the table.  It was very hot out.  While some worked under the awning, the rest of us sat behind our sign which was where most of the shade was.  We had lots of fun and got food from Maria's food stand.  It was Yummy.  Paster Jeff and his family was there so we visited with them for a while.  Visited with Matt Starkey for a while too.  Watered my flowers when I got home.

Bill adjusted the steps so they are level with the deck now. The electrical box is on the right

Got up early.  Scrubbed the floors in the camper.  Packed  stuff for camping.  Gene came and put a nice electrical box in by the pool deck.  Now we don't have to run a long cord across our house deck.  I set up the Clam and sprayed it.  Bill took box that raspberries were planted in down, and we transplanted them in the ground where it was.  That box kept getting so many weeds in it it was crazy.  Watched a movie.

Tues,, 7/23/19....Bill went to his VA appt. and spilled hot coffee on his shirt....got a bad burn

A friend, Pat, at church gave us a book about Indantown to read.  Her husband had told us about it when we sat with them at Tina Seager's birthday party.  My BFF Vikki, is second from the left in the front row...her sister on the end of that row on the right, and her brother behind on the end on the right

Went to our Tuesday morning breakfast.  Lots of us there this morning.  Did some errands and then came home and packed some things to put in the camper.  Bill and Charlie went to pick it up.
The camper was pretty muddy inside, because the place we bought it from doesn't have their parking lot paved so it's mud.  They tracked up good.  I vacuumed it good, but will have to scrub it tomorrow.  Bill got home and showed me a burn on his chest.  He drank a cup of coffee at the VA and it was very hot.  He spilled it on his shirt. They asked him if he was ok and he said yes.  When he got home, he had a big burn on his chest. Melissa told me to get Silvadine for him to put on it.  I went to Meijer's and they didn't have it.  I called Melissa and she told me not to get the Bacitine.  She said I need to get the Silvadine.   I went to Rite Aid and they didn't have it.  Finally went to Walgreens which is what Melissa mentioned in the first place.  They didn't have it either, so I asked.  They said you need a prescription for it.  They did give me something comparable.  I finally got home. Put some of the burn gel on cause and used some gentle remove, no stick to skin tape around him to hold it in place.  It sticks to itself to hold it together.  Praying for no infection.  I called Melissa and it had been so long ago that she didn't remember it being a prescription med.  Bruce didn't either.  At least I got my Camp Dri to spray on the Clam while I was out.

Isaac played his drums for me and sounded great

Isaac and Peyton eating their Oreo Donuts
Evan and Peyton playing at McDonalds
Opened the windows and let the nice cool breeze in the house.  Feels so good that it isn't muggy and hot.  Did laundry and hung it outside.  Went to Tim Horton's and got donuts and took them to Vikki's.  Peyton wanted to spend the night with me, so I went to pick her up.  She decided she hadn't seen Aunt Missy in such a long time and wanted to stay there instead. I went to Melissa's and picked up Evan.  He and Peyton played at my house, and then we went to McDonalds and they played there.  I took them back to Melissa's around 3:45.  Peyton was excited to spend the night there.  I came home and worked some in the yard.  Bill had to go to an Elder's Meeting.  I did my blog and finished the newsletter.  Went over my camping list for BayShore.  We get the camper back tomorrow so can start packing what I need to take to BayShore.

Sunday, 7/21/19...We went to church, Hailey, Vikki, Peyton and I swam, Took Hailey home, Went to Vikki's for Ice Cream

Peyton caught a frog that crawled in the outside slit in our pool.  Very tiny tree frog!

Bill, Hailey and I went to church.  Great message and worship.  Prayed for people after the service.
Came home and made spaghetti for lunch.  Vikki and Peyton came over to swim with us.  Beautiful day....warm but not muggy.  Vikki is so much fun in the pool and had the girls laughing and flinging their hair in the water  She got some great pictures.  Melissa called and they were home, so after we finished swimming, I took Hailey home.  Vikki and Peyton stayed and ate spaghetti.  I was very happy to see Melissa and the kiddos.  Sure have missed them.  Went to Kroger to get 4 x fuel point gift cards.  Came home and Vikki and Peyton had already left.  I put chemicals in the pool.  Bill mowed the grass.  He was going to jump in the pool, but I told him he couldn't because I just put the chemicals in.  He took a cool shower instead and then we went to get ice cream instead.  The line was way outside the door at Mooneys.  We were going to go to Tony's.  Bill said to call Melissa and Vikki to see if they and their families wanted to join us.  Melissa had just ate and wasn't hungry.  Rody had just warmed hot fudge for ice cream brownie dessert.  They invited us there instead, so we went.
Delicious ice cream treat and nice hanging out with Vikki, Rody and the kids.  Came home and worked on the Faith Riders' Newsletter.  Got it all done except waiting for Elaine's article and Wes's Sept. Activities.  Getting it done before BayShore!
