Wed., 2/19/2020, Took Missy to therapy, Went to Sams Club, Went to Harveys with Melissa, Picked Royce grandkids up from school

Nice lunch at Harvey's with this sweet daughter

Found these adjustable roller blades at Sam's Club for $14.

Hailey with her Starbucks Drink
After I dropped Melissa off at therapy, I went to Sam's Club and got a big bag of walnuts and some Shea Shampoo that was on sale.  I walked the whole store to get some fun steps in.  Came home and did some things around the house. Watched the news and then went to get Melissa.  She played ping pong at therapy today.  Sounds like a fun place to me.  She's going to be able to beat Bill and Jared real soon I think.  We went and used an old gift card I had for Harvey's and had mac and cheese.  I had a half Ruben sandwich with it and she had potato soup.  We had a nice time visiting too.  We went to Sam's Club afterward, and I picked up a pair of roller blades up for Jack and Evan to use at the roller rink.  They adjust up to 4 different sizes so should last them a while.  It won't take long and they will pay for themselves at the roller rink.  Peyton and Isaac have skates like them and do great there.  I took Melissa home so she could rest.  I picked the boys up from school.  When we got back to Melissa's, the boys were happy to see the roller blades.  They said, we will just use these at the Roller Rink, not around here, so they stay nice.  So cute.  They wanted to hold them for the picture.  I spent some time there, and then went to pick Hailey up.  We went to Starbuck's and got drinks with another gift card Bill had given me.  Bill went to the Marine Corp. League meeting.  I watched a movie and updated the CMA website I keep up.  Watched the debate! Not very impressed. They sure pointed out each others bad points.  A house divided will not stand the Bible says.

Tuesday, 2/18/2020, Melissa and Kimmy's kids had a snow day, Holley's funeral, Went to Melissa's

They handed out little pictures of Holley for everyone to wear today
Evan, Jack and Max
Abby and Hailey

I got up early so I would have plenty of time to drive on snowy roads to pick up Max, Jack, Evan and Hailey for school.  While I was getting ready, I saw that their school and Kimmy's boys school were closed.  Vikki called and said she could pick them up and take them to school, but I told her their school was cancelled. Poor Vikki, her kids school didn't cancel.  Bill and I went to Holley's funeral.  There were so many boards full of pictures of Holley and a precious video was playing.  Greg and Bill both did parts of the funeral and did such a good job.  Even though it was sad, the message made everyone feel better.  After Bill's gave the message, he had people pray the salvation prayer with him.  I love how he is so obedient to the Lord.  He presented her 5 yr. old brother with a Action Bible and read what I wrote inside which I didn't expect him to do.  I had hid money in the pages and thought he would find it as he read, but Bill told him he might find some money in it so he looked and found that right away.  He never put that Bible down the rest of the time.  It was precious!  We were in the funeral home an hour and a half, and when I came out my car was running.  (Bill had told me before I went in that my back window was down, so I started the car back up and put the window up.  I forgot to lock the car, or I would have know it wasn't off.  The car is so quiet you can't tell it's running when it's running off the battery.  Well, it was pretty warm in the car, because the heater was on high.  I was wondering if I should get gas before I went because it said I could go 102 miles.  When I got to the funeral home it said I could go 92 miles.  When I came out it still said I could go 92 miles.  Amazing after an hour and a half.  I still had 3 fuel marks.  I drove myself because I had to go to Melissa's afterward, and I thought Bill would probably have to stay longer than me.  The funeral procession went from 10 mph to 25 mph all the way from Midland to Edenville.  It took forever to get there.  I called Bill and told him I was only going to drop the flag on the car off and wasn't going to be able to stay for the committal, because I would have to leave in the middle of it.  I headed home and picked up donuts on my way to Melissa's.  I was so happy to see the kids and they were happy to see me and came running to give me hugs.  Even Hailey came and gave me a nice hug.  They were happy to have donuts too!  I got gas on my way home and still had 42 miles I could go before I got it.
I got home and Melissa called me to let me know how her dr. appt. went.  She said it went well and told me about it.  We ate spaghetti that we brought home from the Olive Garden and then watched a movie.

Gene came over and put electrical plug in, Took Vikki to ER

Our friend Gene came over and put this nice plug in for us.  It's on a new circuit which is great.

Peyton with her carnation from the dentist

Gene G. came over and put a new plug in for us in the kitchen so I have one on a separate circuit for our coffee pot.  So nice!  I went to the Dollar Store, Jack's and Aldi's.  Vikki called me and sounded really weird.  She was telling me weird stuff that was going on at work.  She couldn't see  the last number in $106 on the cash register and couldn't see her bosses one eye.  Her boss said she should go to Med Express and Vikki said no I need to go to an eye dr. When she was telling me she couldn't think of the word Cash Register and said what's wrong with me.  It told her sometimes everyone has trouble thinking of a word.  Then she messed up on lots of words and was slurring and laughing saying what's wrong with me.  I didn't think it was funny.  She took Peyton to the dentist and was there and couldn't fill out the form without help.  Vikki is very sharp and I knew something was wrong for sure then and went to get her.  I was taking her to the ER, but stopped to get her a burger because she hadn't eaten only a few cheerios all day.  We thought maybe it was her low blood sugar affecting her and that would help.  We got to the ER and they took her back right away.  They said they were going to check for a stroke or some kind of migraine.  They started and IV, did an EKG, blood work and a CAT Scan. I was going to pick up Peyton and take her to Jacob's concert with me.  Rody's mom said she would have Isaac at her house and Rody was going to go be with Vikki after I took him to get her car.  When I got there, Rody said Isaac's stomach was hurting him so bad, he didn't want to movie and didn't want to go out of the house.  I told Rody to stay with him and I would go back up with Vikki.  I called Kimmy to let her know and she was very concerned for Vikki and understanding of course.  I got back to the room right after they got Vikki back in it. All the results came back good, so they said it was a migraine.  The resident came in after she was discharged and said he had looked at the urine specimen results and the labs and her blood sugar was super high.  He said that could have caused some of the things going on too.  He wants her to have a follow up appointment.  So scary, but I am glad no stroke.  She has to watch what she eats and drinks.....just like we all need to.  I sure love that girl of mine.  Melissa and Kimmy were praying and checking on her too.  Love those girls too! Very blessed to have a close family who love each other so much.

We went to church and Bill went to pray for Pastor with the Elders and I went into prayer.
Worship was amazing and Pastor preached a great message.  The kids went back to kid's church right away for a Hawaiian Party.  Vikki and Isaac couldn't come to church because Isaac was sick, throwing up and also having diarrhea.  Poor sweetie.  Peyton was excited when she saw us after church because Jack won Donya's kid's book she wrote and he gave it to her.  Donya autographed it for her too.  So sweet of Jack.  I have the best grandkids!  We went out to eat with James and his mom after church.  We went to Olive Garden. They gave us huge portions, so we all took food home.  We had such a nice time with James and Diane.  They had given us a $50 Olive Garden Card for Christmas, so we used that and got their meals too.  Bill and I went to see Stacie and Kody after that. We gave Stacie her birthday gift and Kody his Christmas gift.  Stacie loved her rug that holds lots of moisture like Melissa and I have and love.  Kody loved his magnetic sculpting balls too, and spent lots of time playing with them while we were there.  We came home and took a short nap, read our Bibles and went back to church for a worship and prayer service.  It was such a surprise and so nice to see Christine and Bill Holden there.  They moved to Ludington a year ago.
Pastor taught on the Holy Spirit, and then the prayer team went up to pray for people who wanted Rivers of Living Water, the gifts of the Spirit, and producing of the fruit of the spirit released in their lives.  Lots of people came up to be prayed over.  I got to pray with five ladies and it was very moving.  Bill was praying for guys next to me.  Then the worship team played and sang.  It was amazing worship and the Holy Spirit moved lots of hearts.  We came home and watched a really good Christian Movie.

We went to Jack's basketball game.  We sat with Melissa, Bruce and Evan.  Jack sure has improved and is a real good player and really fast.  We loved watching his game.  Loved getting our hugs from the boys too.  We left and went to Hallmark to exchange the earrings dad got me for Valentine's.  I don't have much that matches the other ones, so we got silver and grey earrings instead. They are really pretty.  We went to Isaac's game next.  He sure is fast and has improved so much too.  He was so sweet and thanked us for coming to watch him.  Loved getting our hugs from him and Peyton too.
We came home and relaxed for a while before heading to Wes and Gayla's to play games.  It was nice seeing Joel and we all had fun playing Skip Bo and Phase 10.  I ended up winning both games.
We took a little break to have apple pie and apple blueberry pie that Gayla made.  It was delicious.  We sure had fun!  We left at 10:30 and came home and finished putting the funeral together, so Bill can give it to Greg tomorrow at church.

Debbie and Bill

Bill went to meet Rich for coffee.  Melissa had to be at therapy at 9 this morning instead of 10, so I got to her house early.  It was only 7 degrees out.  Burr!  Dropped her off and then went to Kroger to get a couple gift cards to put in Bill's Valentine's Card and also some groceries.  Came home and got his card ready and put it on the cupboard.  Picked Melissa up and we went to the Patisserie so she could pick out a couple of yummy things for Bruce for Valentines.  I got us and Bill each a cupcake!
The most delicious cupcake I have ever eaten.  It was chocolate with yummy strawberry filling and a strawberry on top...with chocolate pieces.  When I got home, Bill was in the basement on the treadmill.  He liked his card and gift cards to Tim Horton's and I Hop and I loved my roses, edible arrangement, beautiful earrings and beautiful pop up card with a sweet message he wrote on the back of it.  We had to be to Horizon's at 3:30 because Bill had to help with some stuff.  Dinner started at 5. We had chicken, potatoes and yummy veggies and also bread.  It was delicious, but dessert was most delicious.  It was as delicious as my cupcake and also came from the Patisserie.  Chuck, Sue and James sat with us.  After dinner, we danced and then went to the photo booth and had pictures taken.
Dorothy and I fast danced with James which gave me extra steps so I beat Bill!  It was such a fun night with family and friends.  I talked to Kimmy when I got home which I loved.

Thurs., 2/13/2020...Happy Anniversary Rody and Vikki!

Happy 16th Anniversary Vikki and Rody

Woke up to more snow.  Snow day for Melissa's and Vikki's kiddos.  Kimmy's Boys had school, but they just had a snow day when Melissa and Vikki's kids didn't

Bill walked 2 1/2 miles on the treadmill.  Thankful he is back at it!
Messaged Vikki and Rody to tell them Happy Anniversary!  Called her when I knew she would be awake, since they had a snow day today.  Bill had to go meet Greg to talk with the family whose little girl died and talk about her funeral.  The family aren't believers.  Bill prayed for God to prepare their hearts on his way there.  Greg isn't ordained so when they wanted him to do the funeral, he told them he would need help from his friend that does funerals.  They said no way!  Well Greg and Merijo talked with them yesterday, and explained that Greg would be doing the funeral, but Bill would be helping with the ordained part.  They let them come over to talk this morning.  The guy, his wife, and her little 5 year old boy live with the guy's mother.  Greg and Bill started going over the funeral details and Bill started talking about the Lord and how knowing Him could help them get through this.  The husband and wife received the Lord right then.  The mother was standing off to the side, not saying anything.  Greg said he was wondering about her and what she thought.  Bill walked over to her and asked her if she wanted to receive Jesus and she said yes right away.  God sure is bringing good out of this sad situation.  Now they can see their little girl again someday.  What an amazing God we have, and I am so thankful Bill follows him and is such a great witness.  I walked on the treadmill for a mile and then walked two more miles off the treadmill.  Vikki called and was surprising Rody with a Roast, Carrots and Potatoes meal.  Her electricity went off after she had the roast in for 30 minutes.  She went to take the roast down the road to Rody's moms to finish cooking it, but couldn't get out of the garage because the garage door wouldn't work.  She ended up having to tell Rody that she was making him a nice dinner for their anniversary, since he had to come home and take the roast to his mom's now.  Just before he got home, Consumers came and started working on a pole in back of their house.  Rody talked to them and they said it could be 5 minutes or much longer.  They took the roast to his mom's and got home and the electricity came on.  They went back and got the roast and finished it at home.  Wow what a day for Vikki, not to mention she woke up not feeling good.  In the evening, we went to our Faith Rider's Meeting.  There were 20 of us there.  One new person from First Assembly which was nice.  It was such a good meeting and it was stressed that CMA is a ministry.
