I went to Melissa's and spent a little time there before we headed to therapy. When we got there, a few of the therapists were talking about their experience at Art Van's Close Out the night before.
So sad it's closing and sad for people who aren't getting their warranties, their furniture pieces to their sets and contracts. Bill picked Melissa up from therapy and took her to Art Van's. They went to Old Town Drive In and got hotdogs and rooter after that. I met Melissa Burns at Horizons on her lunch hour for lunch. It was fun getting together with her and the food was great. We were supposed to go out to the Turkey Roost with Rich and Pat in the evening, but ended up getting cancelled. I was kind of glad and so was Bill because we were both full from lunch still. Did miss seeing Rich and Pat though. We walked through Art Van together and then we went to Culver's for a Concrete Mixer (buy one get one free). That tasted so good. I talked to Melissa and they were taking Hailey to BayShore for her to have training as a counselor. I am so happy she is doing this. Melissa wanted us to be on call for the boys. I offered to get one or all of the boys and so Bill and I picked up Evan to spend time with. He chipped his tooth while his mom and dad were still home and he couldn't wait to show me. He made sure to tell me it was his permanent tooth. Yikes! I'm sure the dentist can make it look just fine. Vikki called me and had me look at the beautiful grey clouds with red on them. Gorgeous! I took a picture and a few minutes later they weren't red anymore. Evan and I played wii sports games and had lots of fun. Evan knows more about it than I do ha ha. After that he wanted to watch a movie so I put one in and made popcorn and put M & M's in the bottom for a surprise. We had lots of fun with Evan. He is so cute and sweet.

It was nice out today and sunny too. I called Melissa to see if she wanted to come over for lunch and then go to Kimmy's if was going to be home. I went and picked her up and we ate turkey wraps at my house. Bill had an appointment and got home right as we were heading to the Traverse City Pie Company for pie. We got there and they filled Melissa's mocha up so full that I offered to carry it for her. It didn't have a top on it and I did great all the way until I got to the table. My purse strap slid off of my shoulder and made me spill the Mocha. Not a whole lot, so I am thankful for that. I spotted where the lids were, and went and got us each one. I put mine on my Traverse City Cherry Coffee (which was delicious). When I went to take a drink, I spilled some because I didn't have the lid on good. What a klutz I was today lol! We each got apple raspberry pie and it was super good. We talked to Kimmy and she was going to be home so we went to her house next.
She and Wyatt came out to greet us. We went out to the barn so Melissa could see the lambs. She held Ada's new lamb. We had fun taking pictures and looking at all the sheep and lambs. Kimmy had us go out to the pasture with all the sheep so she could get a picture of Melissa with them. It turned out really cute. We went inside after that and visited. Kimmy did some sewing for Melissa while we were there. Melissa showed Kimmy and I how she can get down on the floor and back up by herself without holding on to a chair or couch now. We were so happy to see her be able to do that, even though it is still hard for her, she doesn't give up. That's why she is improving! Thanking Jesus! We left when Kimmy had to leave to pick the boys up from school. What a fun day. Bill got a lot of ice off from the deck. The leak he fixed is still good so thankful for no more leaky pipe. We read out books in the evening. I talked to Melissa for a while and also Vikki. |

I took Melissa to therapy and then went and got groceries at Aldi's. Came home and put them away. Read my Bible and prayed and then did some stuff around the house. Picked Melissa up, and we went to Arby's and picked up Grand Chicken Club Sandwiches. We went to her house to eat them. Vikki stopped in after she got done working. It was sure nice to see her. I left and went to Kroger to get the rest of the groceries I needed. Came home, put groceries away, made chicken, potatoes, and green beans in my air fryer. Taught my kids at church. They sure were good and the lesson was so much fun. It was Ryan's birthday, so we celebrated that and had lots of fun. Talked to Melissa at night and she told me that she showed her kids today that she could get down on the floor and get back up again without using a chair or couch to get up with. This is so great! Don't know why she didn't tell me that great news today and show me. At bedtime, Evan prayed and thanked God for his mom being able to do something she hasn't been able to do for 2 years and he prayed God would help her to be able to do more things she hasn't been able to do. Such a precious kiddo.
