Flowers are poking through

Linda, Bill and I

We went to church, I taught Sunday School and Vikki helped in the nursery.  After church, We went with Vikki, Rody and the twins to Bob Evans.  Vikki and I got the chicken pot pie.  It was delicious, but was so hot we could hardly eat it.  We ended up boxing it up and taking the rest home.  We went to Art Van to walk through it, but it was closed.  They will be open tomorrow.  Bill and I went to the builders show in Midland.  We enjoyed walking around looking at stuff.  We stopped to talk to one of the guys working at a display.  He was from Freeland, so I asked him if he went to church in Freeland.  He said no, he went a long time ago but hasn't been to church in a while.  I gave him a card from our church and he said he would like to come and thanked me.  He confessed Jesus as his Lord and Savior right there.  God is so good!  Linda Magnus came over for a visit.  She wasn't going anywhere herself the last time I went to her house.  She could hardly walk.  I prayed for her than and so were many others praying.  God answered.  Sure am thanking Him.  Bill and I prayed for her again today for some other physical problems she needs healing of. The pot pie sure tasted good at home when I ate it later and warmed it to the right temperature.  We watched another Christian Movie on Amazon Prime.

Charlie and Sue came over at 7:30 a.m. and we headed to Sandusky for one of our group's Chapter meeting for CMA.  It was a good turnout and was at an Amish Restaurant. Sue and I had the buffet and Charlie and Bill ordered off the menu.  The buffet was good, but they were slow keeping the food containers filled.  The meeting went well and Bill shared some things at the end.  It was nice to see Gordy and Fran there.  He just had surgery for cancer and they got it all.  Wasn't feeling well, but looked great today.  After we left there we went to the Mennonite Store and shopped.  Got Molasses Cookies, a pie, some bacon, meat, homemade noodles and potatoes.  Their stuff is so good and such great prices.  We went to Sebewaing after that to check out the place downtown where we will be having our CMA block party in Sept.  On our way back home, we stopped to visit Roy and Marie and had a nice time with them.

I went to Melissa's and spent a little time there before we headed to therapy.  When we got there, a few of the therapists were talking about their experience at Art Van's Close Out the night before.
So sad it's closing and sad for people who aren't getting their warranties, their furniture pieces to their sets and contracts.  Bill picked Melissa up from therapy and took her to Art Van's.  They went to Old Town Drive In and got hotdogs and rooter after that.  I met Melissa Burns at Horizons on her lunch hour for lunch.  It was fun getting together with her and the food was great.  We were supposed to go out to the Turkey Roost with Rich and Pat in the evening, but ended up getting cancelled.  I was kind of glad and so was Bill because we were both full from lunch still.  Did miss seeing Rich and Pat though.  We walked through Art Van together and then we went to Culver's for a Concrete Mixer (buy one get one free).  That tasted so good.  I talked to Melissa and they were taking Hailey to BayShore for her to have training as a counselor.  I am so happy she is doing this.  Melissa wanted us to be on call for the boys.  I offered to get one or all of the boys and so Bill and I picked up Evan to spend time with.  He chipped his tooth while his mom and dad were still home and he couldn't wait to show me.  He made sure to tell me it was his permanent tooth.  Yikes!  I'm sure the dentist can make it look just fine.  Vikki called me and had me look at the beautiful grey clouds with red on them.  Gorgeous!  I took a picture and a few minutes later they weren't red anymore.  Evan and I played wii sports games and had lots of fun.  Evan knows more about it than I do ha ha.  After that he wanted to watch a movie so I put one in and made popcorn and put M & M's in the bottom for a surprise.  We had lots of fun with Evan.  He is so cute and sweet.

Hailey's principal sent this note to Melissa and Bruce in the mail.  Very proud of you Hailey!
It was nice out today and sunny too.  I called Melissa to see if she wanted to come over for lunch and then go to Kimmy's if was going to be home.  I went and picked her up and we ate turkey wraps at my house.  Bill had an appointment and got home right as we were heading to the Traverse City Pie Company for pie. We got there and they filled Melissa's mocha up so full that I offered to carry it for her.  It didn't have a top on it and I did great all the way until I got to the table.  My purse strap slid off of my shoulder and made me spill the Mocha.  Not a whole lot, so I am thankful for that.  I spotted where the lids were, and went and got us each one.  I put mine on my Traverse City Cherry Coffee (which was delicious).  When I went to take a drink, I spilled some because I didn't have the lid on good.  What a klutz I was today lol!  We each got apple raspberry pie and it was super good.  We talked to Kimmy and she was going to be home so we went to her house next.
She and Wyatt came out to greet us.  We went out to the barn so Melissa could see the lambs.  She held Ada's new lamb.  We had fun taking pictures and looking at all the sheep and lambs.  Kimmy had us go out to the pasture with all the sheep so she could get a picture of Melissa with them.  It turned out really cute.  We went inside after that and visited.  Kimmy did some sewing for Melissa while we were there.  Melissa showed Kimmy and I how she can get down on the floor and back up by herself without holding on to a chair or couch now.  We were so happy to see her be able to do that, even though it is still hard for her, she doesn't give up.  That's why she is improving!    Thanking Jesus!  We left when Kimmy had to leave to pick the boys up from school.  What a fun day.  Bill got a lot of ice off from the deck.  The leak he fixed is still good so thankful for no more leaky pipe.  We read out books in the evening.  I talked to Melissa for a while and also Vikki.

I took Melissa to therapy and then went and got groceries at Aldi's.  Came home and put them away.  Read my Bible and prayed and then did some stuff around the house.  Picked Melissa up, and we went to Arby's and picked up Grand Chicken Club Sandwiches.  We went to her house to eat them.  Vikki stopped in after she got done working.  It was sure nice to see her.  I left and went to Kroger to get the rest of the groceries I needed.  Came home, put groceries away, made chicken, potatoes, and green beans in my air fryer.  Taught my kids at church.  They sure were good and the lesson was so much fun.  It was Ryan's birthday, so we celebrated that and had lots of fun.  Talked to Melissa at night and she told me that she showed her kids today that she could get down on the floor and get back up again without using a chair or couch to get up with.  This is so great!  Don't know why she didn't tell me that great news today and show me.  At bedtime, Evan prayed and thanked God for his mom being able to do something she hasn't been able to do for 2 years and he prayed God would help her to be able to do more things she hasn't been able to do.  Such a precious kiddo.

Tues.,3/3/2020...Went to hospital to pray for Sue, Went to Breakfast, Had small group

9 years ago today, Vikki got 2 little 5 day old embryos put in her. What a blessing to have a picture of the kids as just cells forming and then see them after they were born.  What miracles and blessings they are!

We went up to the hospital at 7 a.m. to pray for Sue Wells before she had her knee replacement surgery.  After that we went to our breakfast at Sullivans.  We had a good devotion and good prayer together.  We went to Menards after breakfast so Bill could get a part to repair our leaky pipe in the basement.  Bill had to go to Fling to get a root canal.  He had it through the VA so couldn't go to Dr. Galsterer.  On his way home, he stopped at the hospital to visit Brad who goes to our church.  He made noodle soup with dumplings for dinner for us.  We had small group tonight.  It was so good and we all felt the presence of the Holy Spirit.  Bill did a great job leading it. After everyone left, I called Melissa back and talked to her for a while.  Evan wanted to tell me something, so he got on the phone.  He told me he was on page 67 in his Action Bible and he read 10 pages tonight.  I was so happy and proud of him and told him so.  Before he gave the phone back to his mom, he told me he loved me.  Melted my heart!  I sure love that boy!

Monday, 3-2-2020 HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELI!, Called Eli and wished him Happy Birthday, Went to Trinity Riders meeting

HAPPY BIRTHDAY ELI!  I LOVE YOU SO MUCH!

I sent this to Shane today.   I got a text from Aunt Vikki thanking me and saying he must have really liked it because he sent it and what I wrote on it to her.  So cute!  What a great memory!

I walked 2 1/3 miles in the morning, part on the treadmill and part just walking fast.  I cleaned the kernel burner out.  Always glad when that job is done, but I sure am thankful Bill hauls all the pellets in and dumps them for me.  It always looks so nice when the it's all clean.  I took a shower afterwards, and the fire was started up when I was done.  I called Eli after that and papa and I sang Happy Birthday to our 10 year old birthday boy.  He was so cute telling me about all of his presents.  He said he got a disgusting present, so I asked him what that was.  He told me it was underwear and that it was disgusting!  He emphasized that again lol!  I talked to Vikki for a while.  We both called each other on our Google Home Hubs.  So nice to be able to do that because when grandkids stay here, we don't have to leave our phone home, because they can just use it to call us. In the evening, we went to Trinity Riders meeting.  Bill shared some stuff with all of them.  It was cute, because Adam texted me a picture of Eli's cake and told me they were celebrating right then.  I love how sends me nice messages.
